“Last night I broke down in my Renault Megane after finishing work late. The people on the phone were very helpful and kept me informed on a regular basis, as to how long it would be before the recovery van arrived. I was lucky that I was able to wait inside the Care Home where I had broken down but at 2200hrs was still feeling a bit upset and tired. I would like to especially thank Joseph Baker who arrived to look at my car. I believe he worked at Radcliffe. Although my car could not be fixed, he made the suggestion that I leave my car at the Care Home until the next morning, where it could then be collected and taken to the garage of my choice. I would like to give him feedback because I felt that he gave excellent customer service. He was helpful, cheerful and talkative when he took me to my home address. He helped me with my numerous workbags and shopping to the door. I work in a customer orientated profession and it is always appreciated when people go the extra mile and I always think it is nice for people to be rewarded even if they are just doing their job. Thank you. Paula Giannasi”

“Sven absolutely fantastic service would rate more than 5 if I could, needed car ready for daughters 17th tomorrow battery flat as anything went above and beyond to make sure car was up, running ready can't recommend enough”

“We had a tyre blow-out on our motorhome on a "smart" section of the M1 with no hard shoulder, in a cutting which meant we could scarcely get off the road. Patrol 4540 (Duncan) attended in excellent time, and was competent, courteous and a credit to himself and the RAC. He followed us off the motorway to a layby he knew, where he torqued the wheel bolts and arranged for 2 new tyres to be supplied and fitted the following morning in Worcester. Patrol 4122 (Lee Bailey) was waiting for us at the appointed time and place, and did all that we could ask for, fitting the 2 new tyres and replacing the spare. Again, nothing was too much trouble, in spite of drizzling rain. If these two gentlemen are representative of the RAC, the Club has our complete support.”

“A really nice man helped me and Rita get home last week. It was cold and my car wouldn't start after we came out of Tesco. He was with us quickly and it turns out the battery had stopped working while we were shopping (l think Rita had left the light on in the car, but l won't say anything to her). p.s. Thank you to my Grandson for helping me add this.”

“I tried to start my car this morning and nothing happened. I assumed I needed a new battery and almost went to buy one but just thought I'd call the RAC out first. The Patrol guy was there within half an hour and identified that a lead had disconnected in the electrics somewhere. He re-connected it and got my engine started, saving me around £80 on a new battery. Credit where credits due!”

“Had a tyre problem this morning. The RAC man was with me in about 30 minutes and had the tyre off, quickly, took me to get another and then fitted it. Really nice man, very polite and a good service. Thank you, it was really appreciated.”
