Bought tickets to a concert that was then rescheduled because the artist was sick. Ok, no problem right stubhub assures you that you can resell if you are unable to attend and they will wave the fees so you get the full amount. That was a load of bull***. Not only am I having to jump through unnecessary hoops to re-list those tickets, they are going to charge me fees IF they approve and sell in time so I’m out a lot of money for something out of my control. And if you want to seek outside of stubhub forget finding a way to transfer outside of stubhub because they use third party sites to access tickets with no way of transferring. So far I am out $390 because the process is so convoluted and customer service…not sure their definition of that is but it is nowhere near customer service. Literally called twice and talked to 2 different people who literally just tried to walk me through the same process that I had already done (at least 4 times at this point) which was of absolutely no help. I never write reviews but this time if I can help at least one person think twice about using this platform to buy or sell from/with then I’ll be a little happier about my horrible experience.

Let me just say that after many years of buying and selling on Stubhub if I could give a negative 5 star review I absolutely would! Bought tickets to a concert. Never received the email with the tickets. Called Stubhub 5 different times, including multiple times the day of the show. Was assured by customer service that I would get my tickets, replacement tickets, or a refund by the time of the concert and a phone call from a manger. None of that happened. We missed the show which was a Christmas gift for our kids. When I reached out to Stubhub again, I was told that I wasn’t entitled to a refund because I couldn’t prove that I didn’t get the tickets despite screenshots of my Stubhub and Ticketmaster accounts showing that I didn’t get the tickets. They basically stole $1000 from me and then refused to make it right despite their polices. Worst experience ever! Will never buy from them again!!

I have ordered tickets twice from StubHub. Both times the seller sold to me and then sold the tickets to someone else. I never got the tickets. I would highly recommend using Ticketmaster and NOT StubHub. There is no guarantee you will get your tickets.

Stubhub is usually good, but i know its a resell market. For the Lil Yachty show that got posponed then cancelled in 2023 in Vancouver, they issued me a gift card in which i never used it until after my birthday (Just so happens the expiry in 2024 was on my birthday Oct 30) to try to see a show since there were no shows I wanted to go to before then. Since the expiry - they tell me that they cannot do anything with the $128 that I was issued as a gift card. It's ridiculous, atleast give me the option of debit return or not have these gift cards expire. There aren't always a good show to go to even with that sum of money.

the seller gave us the wrong tickets. the tickets we bought were in a completely different section then what we bought and we were told we would not receive a discount or anything for the inconvenience.

I purchased tickets for an event and they changed the title of the event and the event moved the 1,000 miles away. And they wouldn’t give a refund when I complained that I should be eligible for a refund for the misinformation.

BEWARE !!! Stub Hub is the WORST ticket agent company and I will NEVER use them again. I purchased a parking pass for Rays vs Red Sox game in Tampa and never got the parking pass to use. I made multiple phone calls over 2 days before the event which consumed hours of my time. They had me downloading apps and responding to emails, each time insisting that I still had plenty of time to still receive the pass on the ParkWhiz app before the event. I had informed them for 2 days that I would need to leave my house by 3PM on the day of the game to allow enough travel time and I would not have access to my email or internet to keep jumping through all the hoops they were having me try. On the day of the event after speaking with 3 different representatives, with no resolution to why parking pass was not showing up in ParkWhiz, and them submitting multiple escalation tickets (or so they said) I had requested they refund my money since I was not getting the pass and had to start my travel to the event. They refused my request each time and told me they could not refund money as there was still time for me to receive the parking pass. I never received the parking pass and ended up having to pay an additional $33 dollars to park when I got to the event!! What they could provide me via email did not include the bar code so it was not a usable/scannable parking pass. Their instructions and their non-response resolution to my issue was horrible.

DO NOT PURCHASE TICKETS through Stubhub. They present the price of the tickets and ask for all of your information, process your payment, then reveals you have been charged a ridiculous amount in hidden fees. They do NOT disclose their fees upfront leading to huge mismatch and deceptive pricing.

They say you will get tickets before the show. In our case said we would get an email two hours before. Never got a email. Spent 53 minutes on the phone, they had no tickets, we were already at the theater. Refund offered but that does not make up for the terrible experience. Get you tickets another way.

They sell tickets to you from third party sellers which never get released to you. You purchase the ticket thinking you have scannable tickets and then you show up to the event and realize you don’t have the barcode to scan. I was furious with stubhub and they never did anything to resolve the issue. Never purchase tickets through this company.

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH STUB HUB YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO SPEAK TO A FRONT LINE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT WHO HAS N AUTHORITY. IT HAS BEEN DAYS SINCE MY NIGHTMARE STARTED AND I HAVE NOT SPOKEN TO ANYONE WITH AUTHORITY AND HAVE NO RESOLUTION. I HAVE BEEN FINED FOR NOT RETURNING MASTERS BADGES WHEN NOT ONLY WERE THEY RETURNED BUT I HAVE A RECEIPT FOR THE RETURN.

Terrible. Resold tickets at a loss due to medical emergency. Apparently tickets required me to upload links for them for the new buyer, which I never received those links from my original purchase. Contacted Stub Hub 5 (!!!) times asking for help. Mind you, tickets were expensive and I was willing to sell them for a loss. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. AVOID STUB HUB.

Bought concert tickets and parking pass for my son and tickets never came he was at the stadium until show time to be told that the tickets were not available and the replacement tickets were in no where near what I had brought so we opted for a refund. However when I asked about the parking refund I was told no because we used it of course we used it to get in the stadium to get tickets that weren’t available parking should also be refunded since we didn’t get to see the concert but they said NO very disappointed especially since it was a first concert

BEWARE of StubHub: I purchased parking passes almost 1 month in advance of the event. The e-mail which contained a link to retrieve the passes was sent nearly 1 hour AFTER THE EVENT WAS CONCLUDED that evening! The StubHub customer service representative who answered my call the next morning spoke broken English and informed me that, because I didn't contact customer service THE DAY OF THE EVENT, I likely wouldn't get a refund. This is truly a scam, and--based on multiple comments below and on other ratings sites--not a unique occurrence but probably an intentional business decision.

If I could do a negative rating I would. Tickets were priced the same as Ticketmaster, and parking tickets were frauds. When I filed for the 100% guarantee I did not realize it was 100% guarantee you would be cheated and ignored. I WILL NEVER USE StubHub again

Concert was postponed for a year. They don't consider this cancelled, they consider it rescheduled so they wouldn't refund me despite this statement on their website: Every order is 100% guaranteed. I tried to escalate this but there isn't anyone else to speak to.
