“The worst client service experience I have ever encountered. Upon calling a “customer service” representative asking them to reverse an obviously erroneous transaction they showed no customer empathy, refused to identify himself when asked, had no decision-making authority to rectify a problem and their processes failed to follow-thru on a commitment to have “customer support” leadership return a call within 24 hours. One lost customer … I guess they will eventually add up. I’d love to share this experience with someone who cares within StubHub.”
“If I could have gave a zero I would have. I ordered Chris Brown tickets in April, I started chatting with stub hub the day before the concert, asking why my tickets haven't been released, the virtual assistant would start chatting then become unavailable with no responses back, I then started a chat the day of the concert advising them that my tickets were not released, they were certain that my tickets would be released, long story short my tickets never got released.”
“Bought tickets for an August concert in march. Today’s the day of the concert and still no tickets. They said the seller doesn’t have the original tickets we purchased but yet all the tickets are general admission so that shouldn’t matter. Worked with stub hub to get us tickets anyways but the link wouldn’t work. So they basically said you’re out of luck and have to buy new tickets if the link didn’t work. Just give us the damn tickets!”
“Stubhub allows misleading and deceptive descriptions on tickets from sellers and when you reach out to Customer Service they provide ZERO assistance even when they see what was deceptive about the ad. Offer Zero Protection for the Buyer of these misleading deceptive tickets not in the section of the stadium the tickets literally stated on the ad... I proved it when I tried to relist the tickets on their platform and I attempted to use the Exact Same Section and it wasn't allowed... Stubhubs answer you should probably use a different platform to relist those tickets.”
“I bought concert tickets to Toto... actually, I THOUGHT i bought concert tickets to Toto. What I actually paid $70+ for was two fast lane passes. These are for people who have tickets but dont want to stand in a long line to enter the venue. If you dont have actual tickets, the fast lane oasses are worthless. Nowhere on the Stubhub listing does it actually tell you this. It was not until I transferred the passes to my Ticketmaster app did it say anything about "this is not a concert ticket". I reached out to StubHub's customer service (I use that term extremely lightly). They told me all sales are final and my only option if I didnt want the passes was to relist them and hope someone else bought them. I wasnt satisfied with that answer so I asked to chat with a manager. They said to communicate with a manager you have to call a specual number. After waiting on hold for over an hour, a manager told me the same thing... all sales final, relist them if I dont want them. So frustrated I said fine, relist them. Guess what? You cant relist them on the phone. You have to do that on the website the manager says. I go back on the website, find my passes (which are labelled tickets) and click the resell link. I go through the steps until i got to the part that asks you "which section are the tickets in"... and you can't progress past that... well fast lane passes dont have a section... so I'm back at the help chat explaining that im trying to relist the passes. The agent told me I'm not allowed to relist the passes. I said sure I can, the manager on the phone said to go on the website and relist them. No we cant do that the agent says. I asked how they were listed in the first place when I bought them and the agent instead of answering says there is nothing to be done and disconnected the chat. So I'm stuck with fast lane passes to a concert that I dont have tickets to. Fun.
My wife ebded up finding 2 actual tickets to the concert on Groupon for $50. Thats $20 less than the fast lane passes cost on Snubhub. I will never buy on that site again, I dont care if the Beatles all come back to life and have a concert, if Stubhub is my only option I'll stay home.”
“Sooo. Buyer beware. Actually seller beware. I was accused of selling fraudulent tickets. They kept the tickets and took $500 out of my account as a fine!! They told me they weren't going to have me pay the fine, and two months later went into my account and took it!!! They would not refund my money. I filed a complaint with my bank, and was able to get the 500 back, I'm out the money for the ticket because I bought the ticket in January. Please read the reviews. Anyone want to start a class action suit?”
“absolutely terrible. customer service awful. also, misleading 'sell your tickets' process. they 'suggest' a price which is the list price of your tickets but does NOT include the taxes and fees. They should have something that says "do you want to re-coop your entire purchase when you sell this tickets".”
“Bought a ticket that had a “15min+ walk” in the description when in reality the total walk was 1h30+, the customer service rep was combative when I asked for a refund. Absolute disgrace of a company.”
“One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a company in life. I purchased a ticket months ago. Today is the day of the show and Stubhub has not issued me a replacement ticket or better ticket or the information for a refund. They said they have until 1pm pacific time to send the ticket which is 4pm in Pennsylvania. I will never use Stubhub again. I spoke with over 6 agents and no one was helpful. They said today after calling and emailing them that they would send a comparable ticket if available or a refund by 1pm pacific time which again is 4pm in PA. The show starts at 7pm. This is a major inconvenience and I would never recommend using Stubhub.”
“Purchased parking tickets day of event and could not receive them until after the event I tried to call and they kept giving me a run around for why they couldn’t refund me. Said it was due to the fact I didn’t call the day of the event which is ridiculous because I was busy trying to find parking & driving around and literally couldn’t not contact them! What did they want me to do crash?! But it’s fine apparently they need my $50 more than I do.”
“I bought tickets in June to go see a tennis match at the national bank open in Montreal for August 3. I did not receive my tickets and when I spoke with customer service they said I would get my tickets three hours before the match. Went to the event and still didn’t receive my tickets. Called customer service and was on the phone with them during the entire match while I stood outside not being allowed in! Mind you me and my husband and 15 other family members all travelled from Nova Scotia to Montreal to see this event! This is unacceptable! All they offered was to refund our tickets! What about our travel expenses!? The customer service agent told me I had to purchase gift cards to prove my identity. Come to find out there were multiple charges on my credit card for I tunes gift cards! Complete scam! I will be initiating a small claims suit against this company! Do not use this site! So unprofessional!”
“Bought the tickets 2 week before the event and was promised to receive the tickets on the day of the event, but never did. The event started and we were not sure hiw to claim the tickets and had to call the customer service. They told us that they can’t find a replacement tickets and that they will refund the tickets. So we had to buy new tickets again. This process waisted 30 minutes of the concert.”
“I had tickets purchased for the Jacksonville jaguars /Pittsburgh steelers preseason game a week prior to the event.
I Never received the email with the ability to access and retrieve the tickets.
I called customer service to request the tickets, I was then told that there had been a mistake and the seller had not processed the order(a complete lie) since had a confirmation email when they processed my payment!
I called customer service and they promised a comparable ticket exchange (which was not equal) but then I didn't even recieve the tickets I chose.
I waited half an hour to still not receive the tickets and called back again.
I received another excuse and was then sent even worse tickets as an option, but we wanted to go because we paid for parking and were in the area.
We finally got tickets on the third try, but they were significantly worse than our original tickets!
I believe there was a bait and switch situation where the seller sold the tickets at a much higher price than we paid and didn't send the tickets to us!
Stubhub then kept kicking us down the road to significantly worse tickets!
We are very disappointed with this process and we have no faith in stubhub going forward!
BUYER BEWARE!”
“Terrible bait and switch company. I purchased a specific parking lot space for a concert venue and received a spot hero pass with information not pertaining to my vehicle. I cannot use this pass. I contacted stubhub and they were extremely unhelpful. They scammed me and would not refund or cancel my order. This statement on their website is completely false "Customer service all the way to your seat · Every order is 100% guaranteed." Do not ever use them. Their listing are not correct. They are a scam.”
“Absolutely terrible! Tickets were never delivered and custom support is absolutely terrible. The guarantee policy is an absolute scam!!! Was offered noise bleed vs lower level that I originally paid for. I drove 50 minutes to the event, paid for parking to never receive my tickets that I bought at 11am for a 3pm game! There should have been a proactive message if the tickets failed to be delivered. Trying to get a refund to keep being hung up on the phone. Nice job for ruining my experience!”
“purchased a parking pass for Sofi stadium in Englewood Ca for a Shakeria concert. I arrived 2 hours early. Police blocked off the entire area in front of the stadium, thus not allowing me access to the area were the parking lot was. I drove around the stadium for 1 hour looking for another way in, but to no avail. In addition to the $100 i prepaid through stubhub for that parking pass, i then had to pay $50 to park in some lot 2 miles away and walk. I contacted stub hub as soon as i entered the stadium and again 4 days later but they will not provide me with a refund. They said they wanted proof that the streets were blocked off. Are you kidding me??? Never again will i do business with stubhub”
“I paid 46.40 for parking at a patriots game and the tickets never arrived. I called stubhub and the representative gave me replacement tickets to a different lot. When I arrived at the game I discovered that the lot they gave me was free, was a mole walk from Gillette stadium, and was also a 90 minuted delayed release lot. So, I ended up paying 46.40 for a lot that was free to park in and then could not leave the lot until 90 minutes after the game ended at 10:30pm. I didn't get home until after 1:30am. I called the next day and the customer service representative sent me a voucher for $11.60 towards a future purchase. I called back and another representative, named Ivan, said that is all they could do for me. He would not let me talk to a supervisor. Just a word of warning that stubhub will keep your money even if they never provide the purchased tickets.”
“Absolutely horrible company that provides a middle man for fraud. Drove 4 hours to a concert with my family, paid for 2 night hotel stay just for this concert only to find out I was sold fraudulent tickets. $714. This complaint need to be shut down.”
