“My 81 year old mother bought me tickets for a 2024 HEART show. Ann was recovering from cancer and chemo and had to cancel. They rescheduled a year later at the same venue so she tried to reuse the money that she had spent. Stub Hub was horrible to work with. It took MANY phone calls and emails, and even two promises to call her back. She asked us to help, only to experience the same frustration. We will NEVER do business with them again.”
“I purchased a StubHub Row A Left Balcony Theater seat rating of Amazing(!) with an obstructed view. The ticket printed detail on ‘A safety rail obstructs the view of the stage’.
My obstructed view also included a second railing rigged with very large, down spotlights and cables that blocked my view of the left, front and center stage.
StubHub misrepresented the Amazing(!) rating and obstructed view detail.”
“Purchased a ticket to see the Jonas brothers 2 days prior to event. Premium seating that included VIP experience/access for a great price. The only thing I’m not happy about is that there were no separate instructions sent to me for VIP experience. I didn’t know what time to arrive to venue or where to go so I missed out on the pre-show experience. But still happy with overall experience.”
“The tickets I purchased were apparently fraudulent. People were already in our seats when we arrived ready to sit with hands full of dinner. The venue host was incredibly gracious and re-sat us but it was a huge ordeal in a crush of 40,000 people. Called Stubhub next day and while the customer support person Christian was super nicel, he basically said too bad and we had to have called in the moment. We asked that our StubHub service fee be credited and that they follow through with the seller. No service fee credit and unclear if seller will have any consequences. Sounded like not. Very disappointing.”
“Do not be tricked by these good reviews this company is a faud!! Please do not purchase any tickets from this company!! These folks are liars and are taking people's money!!
Sub Hub is the biggest scam!! It's a platform set up to protect criminals, especially them, with the " we are a third part explanation". I bought two tickets for me and my mom. The so called E tickets or by mail never came. I waited the day of the event, no ticket. I called the venue, no tickets with my name on it.
The venue guy told me to never buy tickets from Sub hub (but it was too late) He said they never deliver on what they say their going to do!! Their a scam! I had to buy additional tickets from the venue so my 80 year old mom could have a great bday.
The E tickets didn't appear until the event was halfway over. At that time, I clicked on the link to open the tickets it was a blank page. I filed a complaint with Pay pal and all the company did was send the email they sent to me telling me my tickets were delivered. Pay Pal did not give me my money back.
I never got the tickets. It's a set up!! Sub Hub is a third party company that allows others to sell. So when the seller does not deliver on their end SubHub excuse themselves because they are a third-party.
They protect the so called sellers so they can get their money!! BEWARE!!”
“Stub hub is by far one of the worst companies in the country. On two different occasions they sold me extremely expensive seats only to get to the venue and find out they were fake tickets. Have no idea how this business is still running.”
“Terrible. Spent 500 bucks on Matt Rife tickets and a parking pass . Months prior to an event. Lost every penny and didn't see the show. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Fake warranty. Do NOT engage. It would be more satisfying to get 500 dollars in one dollar bills and burn them one by one. I have NEVER left a review like this!! SCAM SCAM SCAM”
“I used Stubhub (Viagogo) twice within a years time, and didn't attend either events. The last time, I got my tickets 10 minutes after kickoff of my very first college football game (I'm 49, so I've been doing events for a minute, especially Chiefs) and they refused a refund because it was sent "on time"
No, no, it wasn't. 10 minutes after kickoff isn't on time when I'm patiently waiting in line for tickets. I was in my Uber by the time I left the complex.”
“I purchased preferred parking for a sporting event 2 months ago. The parking was supposed to arrived by 3:00 pm the day of the event. Why I don't know.
The parking tickets never arrived. When I reached out to Stubhub they said " the seller didn't send them" and offered me only general parking. I could of bought this directly 2 months earlier. I WILL NOT Be USING StubHub Again.”
“Bait and switch! is the business model for this garbage company. The leach that sucks on to Ticketmaster and slurps up the scraps.
Pay careful attention before claiming your tickets. It is nearly guaranteed that whatever tickets you thought you purchased are not going to be the tickets that show up in the innocuously titled email that says “claim tickets”. It is designed to make you think that you were getting the tickets that you paid for but then once you click accept, you realize that you just accepted tickets that were not the ones that you wanted. Likely much cheaper tickets that you would’ve never purchased if you had known.”
“Horrible service beware. They say you will receive your tickets same day, however, no email with tickets 3 hours prior to the show. Called customer service and they were not in possession of the tickets and had to reach out to the seller . I was already in the location of the venue and was told they would refund me in one hour if they could not get ahold of him. I could not cancel or buy tickets elsewhere until he responded . Looks like the company has no follow procedure with the seller. We are out of luck.”
“Literally such a bad ticketing website. I bought tickets for a game 3 months ago for school and never received my tickets. Such a joke. I had great seats and they never gave them to me and apparently didn’t have them.”
“Approaches my ticket on a Canadian site and they charged me American funds. They will not reverse that exchange and said that's how much the tickets were. The cost was enough that I could have bought another ticket. The customer service was terrible and I got the total run around and must have spent over 2 hours on the phone with them over the course of 3 weeks because nobody would deal with it. They still have not dealt with it and say they are not going to refund me the exchange. This is a problem with their site. It says you're buying in Canadian dollars and then they charge you American funds.”
