“I would give Zero Stars if that were an option.
We purchased Season tickets for the Eagles for our Sons birthday ( a life long dream for him)
It was a big purchase for us.
On top of the fee for the tickets , there is a $1000 service fee from StubHub.
Stub Hub has a " ticket guarantee* or so they claim.
When we went to retrieve the tickets, they had sold them to someone else AFTER selling them to us .
After HOURS on the phone w Stub Hub they told us , and I quote, " too bad,you will have to purchase new tickets " which are now literally TWICE as much!
They refuse to use email because that can be kept on file, they only use chat with no way to retrieve the conversation.
We did screenshot the entire conversation, and will post it.
We had already given the gift to our son.
They have not refunded us.
We said we needed the refund so we can purchase new tickets. We asked them how are we supposed to purchase new tickets when you are holding our money?
He told us " if it were me, I would reach into my pocket and buy them"
Then he told us he wouldn't, because he doesn't like the Eagles.
This was a horrible experience.
We are out over $10k
And hours of our time.
Seriously considering small claims court for the first time in my life.”
“I purchased four tickets to a football game in Waco, Texas a week before the game and had family come down 700 miles away to join me and I never received the tickets. I got a refund but what about my family that traveled down here, do they get reimbursed for hotel and gas? Unless you’re at the end of your rope to get certain tickets, do not use StubHub what a crock of sh**!!!!!!!!”
“Tried to buy tickets general admission for aggie eagle classic they give me lawn tickets which was way cheaper. In they talking 8 days to refund they are horrible the customer service agents u cant understand”
“Uhh horrible. Bought the tickets 2 months ago didn't receive an email until I was 4 hours into a 7 hour drive to get to the concert. Once I got there open the email could not get my tickets spent 3 hours with support trying to get the tickets and ended up buying them from ticketmaster. Bull...Shat.. f this company.”
“Concert was postponed on your end and would not refund. $1023.42
That is fraud. You can’t sell a ticket for specific date…. then change the date and not give a refund!”
“I am currently having the worst experience with this company. I bought tickets for a baseball game that is tomorrow and there is no barcode and it has been escalated twice and had me on hold for nearly an hour but still didn’t resolve it and said they will send me an email when they figure it out.”
“THE WORST!!!! never purchase anything. terms and condition do align with anything on the website. they dont release ticket until the day of event to make it to late for you for any other option (not stated anywhere) Called the customer service and their advise was to sell the tickets that i never received?? biggest scam”
“Canceled Aerosmith concert should have resulted in a refund to my payment account. 3 months later and 2 escalations (8 phone calls) I'm still without my money. Can't talk to anyone but the front line customer service.”
“Awful, Awful Scammers! The worst of the WORST! Never, EVER going to do business with them again. Trusted them as I have trusted many companies but these guys are scammy, Regret clicking on their link. Lesson Learned. Hope you can steer clear of them.”
“I used Stubhub for the first time today. To my mind they are a total ripoff.
The fees they charged for a ticket exceeded 50% of the actual ticket price.
In other words
a $35 ticket with email delivery ended up costing $60.10 (including tax).
Stubhub does not allow cancellation of purchases and was not willing to adjust their fees.
The ticket was actually delivered via Ticketmaster, so one might as well just buy any ticket directly from Ticketmaster, ignoring any link to Stubhub supplied by event organizers.
Stubhub's ticket delivery via a 3rd party is also somewhat of a nightmare.
This was the 1st and last ticket Ibought from Stubhub.”
“I recently purchased a ticket from StubHub for baseball game, only to discover that the event had already started or was past the intended time. Upon realizing this, I immediately reached out to their customer service for assistance.
Unfortunately, I received no meaningful help. I was met with indifference, and no effort was made to correct the mistake or offer compensation. The lack of care shown by the company, despite selling an unusable ticket, was disappointing and unacceptable for a platform that claims to ensure safe and reliable ticket purchases.
This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with StubHub, and I am considering legal action to recover the costs of the ticket and additional expenses related to this issue.
I would advise others to be cautious when using StubHub, as their customer service and reliability, in my case, have been severely lacking.”
“I spent $1300 on tickets, which I never received. Multiple phone calls to customer service just to get the runaround and lied to. Requested refund multiple times and told I would receive an email to claim a refund. The emails never came. Stub hub is a total rip off-I will spread the word to everyone I know to never use this site!!!”
“I bought some tickets for a Braves game and parking. Due to death in the family I needed to resell tickets. The parking ticket was a QR code and couldn't be re listed despite being sold to me as resellable. I contacted support days before the game. Lots of wrong answers. I again contacted support the day of, no help. Followed up on Instagram where they told me they couldn't do anything as the game had passed. They told me "you should've just given them to a family member or something". That was a really appalling response. I will do everything possible to stop giving them any more of my hard earned money (they've made thousands off me the last few years)”
“I do not like that I buy 2 tickets to a steelers game and they charge me 209.92 in fees and don't tell what the fees are for. Will not buy from them again.”
“You confirmed that I transferred a parking pass and then came back two days later, which was game day and said it was the wrong email. You refuse to honor the confirmation Similar thing happened last year Recommend not using StubHub”
“I had purchased tickets few months in advance for a show September 15th. The band rescheduled date of the show to March which is 6 months away. I was srill told I would have my tickets by September 15th and could use them in March. It is now after September 15th and still no tickets or word of refund. I keep getting the run around. I will never order from them again.”
