My morning bus to the airport from the 3 Arena did not show (29th Oct 2024) which was far from ideal. However customer support were helpful offering me a refund for that leg of the trip. On the return, the staff at Dublin airport were helpful and I had a comfortable journey back. The driver was very good assisting customers with their baggage. So recommend for buses leaving Dublin Airport, but not so sure for catching buses on route.

Normally I would give Aircoach full marks for its service, but recently I almost missed a flight from Dublin Airport as the bus that I should have travelled on must have zoomed past the Cornelscourt Shopping Centre stop before its scheduled time at 07.31 – despite the fact that I was at the stop about six minutes before that time. I travelled on the next bus, which arrived on time at 08.01, but because of heavy rush-hour traffic, I did not arrive at the airport until 10 a.m., 35 minutes before my flight was due to take off. Thankfully I made it to the gate by skipping queues and running as fast as I could.

Returning from the US I needed to change my booking but was unable to do so on line. My email wasn’t replied to until over a week after I had returned! However when I did get back I was able to get on an Aircoach without any problem. If I had known this it would have saved a lot of worry. I was also pleased that the busses were on time.

Why doesn’t the screen tell the stops instead of the driver trying to shout the location of the next stop. It’s impossible to hear properly and some tourists missed their stop.

Very comfortable coach. Punctual, but left many stops a few minutes early. New route (embarked in Cabinteely) very circuitous making for a lengthy trip. Main issue was the volume of the music. VERY LOUD and can't get away from it.

We got the new 701 Ballsbridge Aircoach from the airport at 15.45 yesterday. The timetable stated that it would take 40 minutes to Drumcondra but we were there at 16.00 and reached Ballsbridge Clayton Hotel at 16.20 not 17.11 as per the timetable. I was able to get a bus to Blackrock immediately and was home before the scheduled time in Ballsbridge. If someone was to meet me off the bus I would have been waiting a long time! In July when going to the airport to meet a friend the bus sailed past me with "Driver in Training" on it and after waiting another 20 minutes and no bus, I got another bus into town and another out, so was late meeting my friend. The new 702 amalgamated Greystones and Killiney route going through Sandymount and not stopping is a waste of income to the company - previously when the bus used that route people living in the area could avail of it. It is a long walk up to get the Ballsbridge 701 when the 702 passes near to Sandymount residents. It should stop on the coast road, it is too long of a gap before the Point from the Merrion Road. I will be meeting another friend at the airport this week as I could not rely on the arrival time of the Aircoach as per the timetable. The Aircoach to the airport last week arrived at 5.05 a.m. scheduled for 5.16 at Frascati Blackrock, but luckily I was at the stop at 5.00 a.m. so instead of arriving at 5.50 a.m. it arrived at 5.40 a.m. at the airport. The old Aircoach timetable was usually accurate and sometimes a little late, but you did not miss the bus by it arriving 11 minutes early and the 702 route now only running once an hour.

Pity after all the good times when the service was originally good, it changed. Effing freezing! Even after asking for air con to be turned down. Takes too long to get to airport but......at least it wasn't cancelled this morning, so thank you.

I travelled last week from Derry to Dublin. The journey lasted c. 4 hours. There is no toilet facility on board the coach. I requested that I could use the toilet facilities at Belfast. I was not allowed to do so as the coach was "leaving immediately" Another passenger requested the same at Belfast (outside Europa) but was told there was no option. I desperately needed to urinate and my only option was to find a discarded drink bottle left behind by another passenger and pee into it. Hopefully I do not pick up a uti or sti from the bottle, given that another passenger had been drinking from it. Luckily I am a male and this was physically possible. The female passager did not have this luxury. I made sure I did this discreetly, this was possible as there were only about 20 passangers on the bus at the time. All other services from Derry to Dublin (Translink and McGinleys) have a comfort break halfway. Surely this is a breach of consumer rights or health and safety regulation. I will not be using Aircoach again.

Normally this is a good service however I feel it could benefit from real time available for all your routes. Also give the roads works and delays currently through Bray you should let passengers know that this route could be delayed. I had to get a taxi yesterday as the 702 route was an hour delayed due to the roadworks in Bray.

Cancelled my booking. Apparently ticket could be used on different service, had a "joy" of dealing and explaining myself with trying to use cancelled ticket with three members of staff that made a big deal of it in front of other passengers. Felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed. Several mails sent to customer service prior the departure, got answer on it after 10days . Unfortunately the quickest service to the airport with very little alternatives so will use again. Three stars for very kind drivers.

Tried to change my pick up stop to an earlier one. Can’t be done. Had to book a new ticket. Crazy.

Arriving at at pick up point eg Westmoreland street, it would be nice to see live information and timing of the bus arrival time. When a bus is late customers are likely to panic about missing their connections. On 3 previous occasions in 2023 we had to take taxis to the airport as bus was late and we had no idea when it would arrive.

I use Aicoach quite often between Cork and Dublin Airport. It is on time, reliable. However, the toilet in the bus is usually dirty and sometimes no water to wash hands. From that point of view, for those arriving in Ireland for the first time, Aircoach is a bad advert for the country.

used AC for years to dub airport from city. usually good service hence using repeatedly but. last month coach didnt arrive at all was left in pouring rain, fortunately next on schedule did arrive, although it was late. also the QR code IS the ticket, yet some drivers for no given reason; ask me to show them the confirmation email, which after checking this with AC staff im told is unnecessary and they should not be asking for it, irritating. this makes me consider changing to a rival coach company

Just boarded the 700 bus from Leeson street. The only option online for Leeson street is either Lwr or Leeson St bridge so selected lower only to have the driver shouting at me that I should have selected Lesson Street Upper and Lower costs more ( cost is the same at Leeson St Bridge). I usually find the Air coach great but do not appreciate belligerent and ill informed diatribes from the driver.

The bus arrived 10min late to the stop and the driver did not have the best attitude. The bus apparently hadn’t been maintained because it was making weird noises while in motion.

I have been using Aircoach for years and have long thought it was the best service for getting up and down the country. I use the service multiple times a year. However in the last year they have introduced new busses which are possibly the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on. I was unfortunately in one of these new buses for my most recent trip from Cork to Dublin on the 21st of July. In the past I loved Aircoach for having large, comfortable leather seats with high enough backs to offer good support and also a bit of privacy from those around you. However these new busses feel like sitting on a wooden seat for 3.5 hours straight. There is practically no cushioning and the backs are incredibly low that it provides no support for your head and youre practically breathing down the neck of the person in front of you while your knees are also pressed against the seat. The decision for this change absolutely baffles me. In the past I would have no issue falling asleep and having a proper rest on the Aircoach but now I'm lucky to get a few minutes in before waking up to back pain. It has ruined the service for me and I get so excited on the rare occasion that I get an old Aircoach bus. I hope one day they go back to the old style as these new busses are horrendous.

The service from aircoach has gone down since before covid. We live between the Clayton and Galloping Green. There used to be a very good service every 15 mins from the Clayton and one every hour from Greystones. Then it went to 1 every 2 hours from Greystones but if we were prepared to do extra hours in the airport at le ast the journey time was reasonable. Now with the new routes the bus departs from Cherrywood but then does a loop to the Clayton adding at least 20 mins to our journey and yet only leaves once an hour. The journey takes over an hour and a half to get to the airport. 20 mins to get from Galloping green to Stillorgan a 5min journey on the main road! This is now a terrible service.
