This is a follow up to my review and two follow ups to my review from two weeks ago. Aircoach never replied to my last two posts. As l said in my last post 81% of posts rated there service as terrible. With comments of Thieves.... Don't give them your money... Don't care about there customers... Ect... Ect. As l said at the top of this text l had no reply. That to me proves to me customer care... Customer assistant. To reply to questions and speak to there supervisor is a no no. Reading many reviews of bus not turning up... Passengers left stranded late at night as l was 3-30 in the morning and many others. I believe this company should be reported to fare trades department and investigate. Report it to your local T. D.the way thy treat the people. I believe that if thy don't reply the public will forget about it. And thy can sweep it under the carpet as thy say. To aircoach l will be following my complaint up and will see you in the small claims court

I have used the aircoach many times in the past but this morning I was very disappointed. We were at our stop 14 mins prior to the scheduled time. The bus didn’t come for another 22 minutes after the scheduled time. I was not alone, as I spoke to other passengers who had the same problem and are now very stressed and anxious about getting to the airport late! No apology from the very unfriendly driver either!

Apparently it is not possible to give zero stars here- what a pity. The bus arrived this morning, apparently at the right time, but the driver told me that his was an earlier bus running late and that my pre-purchased ticket was for the next bus, a few minutes behind, and so he refused to take me. He took two other passengers that did not have tickets at all and who had arrived after me. I waited a further 50 min before giving up and getting a Dart train and then a taxi, which was the only sure option left by that time. There is no live info available at the stops for Aircoach, unless you have their app (but what traveller wants an app on their phone for every bus company they ever use?) and my stop was not even indicated by a clear sign. Difficult to use even for locals, let alone tourists and non-English speakers. Please try to find any other option than Aircoach- only use them if you're desperate, would be my advice.

My parents took the 5am cork-dublin bus today. (the 15th of August) They took a screenshot of the QR code sent by another member of our family to travel, as a gift trip to Ireland. They do not speak english at all, and handed their phone with the QR code to the bus driver, who did not even bother checking if they are on the list of passengers or not (for example by asking their IDs or passport), when the same driver could not find some 8 digits numbers with the ticket to identify them. The bus driver did not allow them on board, as my guess is that he does not have a QR code reader!!!! What's the point of printing tickets with QR code, then. I tried to reach out to the person who booked the ticket, but at 4:45am, who would wake up if you are living on the other side of the world? Finally, when I begged the driver that we were willing to pay for the tickets again, he finally looked at the passenger list, and allowed them on board. So either he did not have a QR code reader which is fine but then he should have a passenger list in the first place to avoid this type of arguing and stress.

Aircoach never turned up in Cork last night at 2am. People were devastated. No warning we waited half an hour for another bus driver to tell us the driver probably never turned up. I couldn't but notice young girls on their own waiting that time of night. A disgrace would only happen in Ireland. Imagine trying to get a refund. I was trying to make a flight as so were others which I missed Shocking service.

My granddaughter's aircoach was 'cancelled for operational reasons' with no notification on any platform. This necessitated me driving her from Dalkey to the airport so that she would not miss her flight. We picked up a young man left stranded at the stoop in Monkstown. I am really angry at the pat, bland, email response from Aircoach. They are licensed to provide a service that negates the use of private transport, not to cause undue stress and expense to travellers.

I booked to Dublin airport Monday 18th November, paid on line, dalkey to airport. 10am bus did not arrive, 11am bus did not arrive. The man on the telephone was unable to help in any way . Airbus is not too be trusted ever. Having booked on line, they have my email, easy to contact me. Useless

Horrible service. Strongly discourage to utilise it. The bus driver saw me waiting under the pouring rain and with a booked ticket did not stop to pick me up.

Changes to 701 route have made it a much poorer service. No longer goes via port tunnel and takes twice as long. Now it's better to go in a taxi than the bus. Also very awkward to purchase tickets at T1 as the card machines dont accept AIB bank cards, not sure how you can do business while not accepting one of the main banks in the country

I arrived back in Dublin but I lost my Aircoach return ticket. I had a copy of the ticket with the QR code on my company expenses app which I showed but the guy at counter said I had to buy another ticket. Bus was about to go so couldn’t waste time arguing . Totally unreasonable attitude. Service was great just Mr Power trip at counter could do with some customer service training

The driver Ian on the 12.10 from Belfast to Dublin today was brilliant, super friendly and helpful when I didn't know what I was doing as it was the first time I've got the Aircoach from Belfast. Good journey

This is targeted at a wonderful human being who sells tickets out of Dublin. She has purple hair! So here is the story….. my 17 year old daughter was traveling Toronto to Belfast via Dublin on her first solo flight. Her flight was cancelled, she was put up in a hotel, rebooked, and ended up in total traveling for 42 hours. Being the anxious kind, this was a huge feat for her. We had purchased her first AirPods.(this is relevant!). On arrival at Dublin, finally, she found her coach in the nick of time, and while loading her luggage, caught her new AirPod which went flying. This caused her to have a panic attack. The coach had to leave with or without her. She chose to pull her luggage and find her AirPod, which she did, down a sewer drain!!! Mid panic attack and crying on the phone, the Aircoach lady with the purple hair witnessed this and took her under her wing. She invited my daughter to sit in the office, gave her a coke, and arranged for some people to retrieve her scratched up AirPod from the sewer! Having missed her coach and the next available one being 3-4 hours later (meanwhile grandparents, who don’t have a mobile, were enroute to Belfast via train to meet her at the original time) I was now in a panic. However the purple haired lady managed to get her on the very next coach as there was a no-show. The care, respect and help offered to my daughter was second to none. The world needs more people like her! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Being so far away from your children traveling alone for the first time is scary enough without mishaps such as this. We are eternally grateful.

Reserved and paid for two seats on 10th July 2024 6.56am 702 service from Frascati Blackrock scheduled to arrive Dublin Airport at 7.32am. Bus never arrived. Managed to hail a taxi at 7.30am. There were minimum 15 people waiting. Many like ourselves had already paid in advance. My issues are that : (1) no real-time information on cancelled services is available (I tried contacting their phone lines and social media channels but no response). (2) Why doesn’t Aircoach notify their customers when it is clear to them that a service is not going to operate as scheduled? (Not rocket science - after all I provided my email and telephone number to Aircoach at the time of booking - either channel could be used to communicate). (3) Why no automatic refund? In fact, the refund process seems very convoluted - a cynic might suggest Aircoach has a vested interest in not issuing refunds. (4) Furthermore if there was effective public oversight, Aircoach would be required to both refund and compensate (I.e. for taxi costs) their customers when there is a service failure. By the way I subsequently made contact with Aircoach to clarify what had happened. I was told I would receive follow on feedback but have heard nothing to date (30th July 2024). I can understand that a service may not operate from time to time. However it is the many communication failures, both real-time and follow-on, that are a source of frustration and indicate customers are being taken for a metaphorical ride - rather than the literal one we expected….

People who travel on the greystones bus are restricted to 1 bus every 2 hours and now you have additional stops on that go all over Dublin including a detour to Dalkey. It takes over 2 hours to get to the airport in traffic and it’s a complete joke. Considering there is no competition- Aircoach can do what it likes and not serve the customers properly. Wed be quicker getting an ass and cart to the airport!
