There is one more thing you could do for us...when Darlene pushes her button for help, please call Kevin's cell phone if you've tried our land line (218-984-3305) and there is no answer. Kevin's cell number should be in your records but here it is: 218-290-9290. Otherwise, we do appreciate your service!

Mom fell and broke her hip, could not get up. Pushed the alert button and had ambulance there within minutes. Little difficulty with sound quality. Operator was a little scratchy. Also, when mom was lying in pain, she and the operator on occasion were both trying to talk at the same time. Bottom line is that the unit did what it was suppose to do. We got our money's worth.

As the Emergency contact person, I wish your caller ID identified that you were Alert One. I receive a lot of unsolicited phone calls and don't always pick up the phone if I do not recognize the number - or if it looks like a telemarketer. Your caller ID never comes up the same - and only once did it identify that it was Alert One calling...most recently it just read Ogden, UT...So I did not pick up. I heard the message that my Mother-in-law had fallen and called right back. Paramedics had helped her up by the time I arrived a few minutes later, and she was fine. We find the service very helpful overall, but making sure that caller ID reads Alert One would be an improvement. Thanks!

Calls have come in well. Message on phone is kind of hard to understand because maybe they should speak slower, which would make it clearer. Thanks.

My mom fell but I was able to get home and assess her. She was sore but did not want to go through the ER. She is finally using her call button. Is it possible to get another device. She misplaced the stationary one that came with the unit. Will there be a charge? Thanks. Her daughter, Judy

This is Kim Knapp, Rolland Knapp's son. By the time you contacted me, the message the person on the phone gave me was very confusing. I was told my sister was already at my dads house, before you called for paramedics. That could not be possible and was not, because she was in Orlando FL at the time. Paramedics did arrive and my dad did get to the hospital. He has a chip fracture on his Femur and continuing difficulties with Pneumonia, but is resting fine.

The system worked well, and our guest, who sent the alarm for my wife (I was traveling at the time) was comfortable with what happened. The local response was very fast. My wife is recovering . . .

We are always happy with Alert1's response and are glad to have you ! Normally when Mother ("Clara") falls, the operator calls 911 for the Fire Department to help her get up, as well as calling the contact person. But in this case, the operator (If I understand correctly) called the contact person but did not call the Fire Department also. When I asked him to please go ahead and call (because Mother is too heavy for my sister-in-law to pick her up), he did so, and that is fine. This isn't a complain, so much as just the desire to communicate that the FireDept should always be called if she is on the floor. Otherwise, Many, MANY thanks for all you do! Very appreciative of the services that you provide.

Pleased with the service received from Alert 1, my only concern is that my mom, Eileen, said she answered very loudly 3 times when asked if she needed help yet when they contacted me they said they received no response from her. They did send for help which was already there when I arrived and they took her to the hospital. Could this be a problem with her pendant?

Hi - Thanks - the one thing I might ask is that you let your phone call to Joe (619-698-4403) ring just a little longer. He answered, but too late to catch your notification - would have eliminated the need to call 911. BUT, You did the right thing - thanks

My mother is 97 years old and legally blind so occasionally the button is pushed in error. It is very comforting to our family that she has Alert 1.

We have never had to press the button for a valid emergency....several times for one reason or another, the button has been pressed accidentally. Most times we get a rapid response, once or twice there was some delay a minute or two.

I would have given you a "very good" except you failed to share the key lock box combination with the emergency dispatcher. This was a bit of information I gave in the beginning when we subscribed. It is possible it got lost over time; if that is the case please add it: the lock box is mounted on the post at the front door, combination is 1922. Otherwise Alert1 performed exactly as it should have! This illustrates the value of having a system like Alert1.
