Amazon has some dodgy business practices. I ordered surgical face masks from Amazon for £21.50. Amazon saw fit to substitute my premium masks with cheap ones that cost £8.40 and refused to refund the difference, stating it was the price I agreed to pay. The first pic shows what I ordered and the second shows what they substituted. Again, complete refusal to refund the difference. Only option was send it back. Such a waste of time and thievery.

Could not edit the given delivery date, tried to go back, failed, consequently the item was delivered to the wrong address on the date I had not wanted

Ordering stuff on Amazon used to be a breeze. Now it’s awful! Trucking you into signing up to Prime etc at the end of the checking out process in small print. Trying to get free delivery even when over £20. I end up abandoning my basket a lot. It used to be much more straightforward. Now it’s rubbish.

Waited all day as delivery time changed throughout the day then I take my dog out for 5 mins and the driver jst drives away as I'm getting back to house and now I'm told it will be delivered between 9 and 9 the next day not good enough

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW ON AMAZON It is a company named BRADLEY BROWN INTERNET LTD. WHICH MY ORDERS WERE MADE THROUGH AMAZON. Although I ordered the same type of clothing from another company arrived in time on every occasion. Bradley Brown have done everything to dismiss the fact the orders never arrived. Even down to involving the postmen, which I had a good mind to paste and forward the discussions I've had with there representatives. Although she comes across as very pleasant and appears to want to help , they continue to have you going round in circles with no outcome still to bring this to conclusion. Other companies with same products would be a contributor before using this company

I have had many good buying experiences with Amazon and until about 5 weeks ago understandably the delivery times are longer and less items available. This is obviously caused by the pandemic. Approximately 3 weeks ago I closed my account with eBay because of the amount of profiteering they appear to be approving on there platform. Unfortunately the same appears to be happening with Amazon, maybe Amazon should realise that if they do appear to approve profiteering they may well lose custom when this is over. Come on Amazon we are all in this together get the scum bag profiteers off your site. Support your customers.

I purchased by mistake 2 silks for(riding hat)...so returned one for a refund, returning the item as suggested.... I have never received the refund £20...since last December...Unable ever to successfully have any satisfaction by phone...!!! Totally annoyed and disappointed..

Sadly deliveries on prime are hardly EVER on time, we have been lied to by telephone staff saying that bad snow has delayed the shipment from their Ridgmont facility, when i can SEE the roof of the facility from my house and we have zero snow! Had deliveries dropped off at wrong houses, and the drivers claiming I HAD SIGNED FOR IT, had police involved multiple times. Last straw was one of their drivers caught on camera smashing our gate down with the van, and damaging fence and 10 foot gate, driving away. Police investigating have been told by amazon they cannot find the driver, and STILL have not paid for the damage which is proven to be amazon on the cctv, especially as you can clearly see him carrying the amazon parcel from back of his van!! Never again. Untrustworthy company, with zero customer service or care.

Very disappointed, and feeling how unjust the Amazon practice of removing gift card values from people's account - especially with no reminder that it's about to happen. What's the point of being able to add them to the account if the use by period isn't extended?

Stayed in all day awaiting delivery before 8pm. Then at 8pm on tracking I discover my order is not only late but won't be delivered until possibly as late as 11th, original delivery date 7th and I paid more for earlier delivery date. Item was ordered for special occasion and now according to reviewed delivery date will arrive too late. Feel I've wasted my time and money. This is my first time with Amazon and possibly my last.

My review is based on their returns policy only. I ordered a storage chest from them flat packed. On opening the box it was clear to see that the lift-up lid was broken, no good at all. I contacted the customer services dept to ask about getting a replacement lid, only to be told "to return the whole thing and we will reimburse the postage cost as it was damaged on receipt, and we will arrange a replacement for you". I was told to use whatever carrier I wanted too, the "cheapest" was Parcel Hero at £22.50! That`s ok I thought, Amazon will be refunding me the carriage cost. Well, I had my refund from them, for £4.75!!! So I had a damaged unit delivered (replaced admittedly), and for the privilege of spending £22.50 to return their own damaged goods I received the princely sum of £4.75, WHAT A RIP-OFF OR WHAT!

Very easy, quick, efficient to browse, shop, select and place orders. A colossal choice of products to choose from and the prices are very competitive. Don’t buy books unless you want them manhandled. Probably handled in such a way so you just bite down in the pillow and buy a kindle. Can’t crease the cover if it’s made of pixels!

I had terrible trouble ordering a pair of headphones during the recent Prime sale and ultimately did not buy anything. Later, I complained and they offered to sell me the headphones at the sale price, but only if I bought them first and got a refund later. This I did - but now they've thrown up endless delays and excuses about giving me the refund. I am furious!

Not very happy with Amazon, a lot of things on the amazon shopping site are cheap chinese items that can be found cheaper on Ebay, If you use the prime service you'll find that all the items covered are by Amazon's Prime "free delivery" are actually slightly more expensive than the same items that are not covered by Prime. My wife has been a Prime customer for several years, someone stole her Amazon log in details and opened another Prime account which my wife was charged almost £80 for and when she tried to sort it out with Amazon they said they couldn't help and told her to speak with her bank. She is now in the process of trying to claim this money back from Amazon and when she has done so, my wife will be cancelling her Amazon account.

Great ordering. Ok delivery 9 in evening a little late. No receipt in box if you wish to return item you been to print a return label. I do not know of any other company that you print your own return labels
