“Ordered a camera from Amazon Warehouse using prime free trial expecting next day delivery, ordered on Monday lunchtime, only to get an email Tuesday lunchtime to say delivery would be on Saturday - 6 days after I ordered ??? I contacted amazon through chat and was told this was a carrier problem, which is now resolved, so will be delivered within 24 hours (Wednesday?), but nothing on website has changed to show this, so I am pretty doubtful. I've been put off amazon as if I can't rely on quick delivery, I can get things elsewhere !”

“I accidentally ordered items and didn’t realise until the next day when I received notification of delivery. It was too easy to make mistake. However amazon on the whole is great”

“An order I placed with Amazon arrived but unfortunately it was an empty envelope apart from a piece of cardboard where the ordered product should have been attached. I contacted Amazon but the person told me they would replace it if I send the original back ?it was an empty package. Later they said they did not require me to return it but today I was weakened by a delivery driver asking for an item that was being returned to Amazon. It's clear to me that not one person at Amazon has listened to a word I told them.”

“Ordered a pair of pool side wicker lounger and since August it still has not arrived. Even the tracking detail shows that it's delivered but we havnt seen a thing. What's worse, Amazon doesn't even seem to keep up with the dealings of some merchants. They let them defraud buyers online!”

“I bought a warehouse deal microwave oven. It was described as having damaged packaging. After it arrived and had been unpacked and installed, upon opening the door, the inside had food splatters, showing that it had been previously used. Inside the box was a "returns packing receipt". This item had previously been used and returned to Amazon because of a problem. It hadn't gone through their system, but left unopened in their warehouse, then shipped directly to myself. After complaining to Amazon, they've arranged a refund and to collect the item. Iv'e since bought a "brand new" m/wave from Amazon, it's arriving tomorrow. Iv'e patronised this company for many years, why, because they're the best in the business. When it comes to customer service, there's no equal, they are where most retailers dream of being, on top of it,,,LONG LIVE AMAZON...”

“I've been ordering from Amazon.com and Amazon uk for many years now and although I can get some things a lot cheaper from Amazon Spain(because of the exchange rates), it is not worth the savings... Firstly, I am sure they don't only have Spanish customers - it is extremely difficult to navigate their site, especially when you want to talk to someone to resolve an issue. I ordered an item through them and never received it (even though their site says it was delivered). There is no where on their site I can complain. I've sent email - no response.”

“their items seem to be getting cheaper and poorer in quality, but my real frustration is with the poor quality of packagibg and delivery (when it comes through their own network). Why can they not use packages that won't fall open during transit, and why do their delivery drivers not care where they throw your parcel, or whether it will get rain-soaked or not? I am tired of getting books that look like they fell out of the package and have been hastily stuffed back in, damaging the contents.”
