always rapid delivery from order. but I noticed recently that they had been taking a Prime subscription without me knowing and will NOT explain why this happened.

Good & bad. Rushed drivers & I hear the staff are overworked & under paid. I do not use Amazon as much as my Son, but it has been great to find/rescue secondhand books!

Delivery driver not working properly..... again..... I waited in for an item. Then got message when Tracking that it was delivered through my letterbox. I looked and wasn't there. From previous poor experience checking in the area where rubbish bins are outside and yes its there in the wet as been raining for ages now. Very Poor And Amazon Doesn't Provide Customer Service.

Its a company with a wide selection and good customer service and return policy however their promise to ship on time is always failed due to that am giving it 3

Quick service and very efficient, however drivers seem to be overwhelmed by the volume of deliveries with not a lot of time to deliver and not paid a fair wage. This being quite obvious shows there are issues with communication and understanding from higher up in the company.

Pretty good alround apart from trying to con you into taking prime. I put something in the basket, hadn't even paid for it but somehow I was signed up for prime and now I need to cancel in 30 days. Shouldn't be allowed

I got onboard with Amazon right from the start, over 20 years ago and have had hundreds of items from them, with very few problems at all. However, a family member ordered an expensive watch from them recently and received a box which was completely empty. The box was handed over directly from the Amazon courier (the family member even had to give a code to the courier before he would hand it over) so it was direct from Amazon, not left anywhere, so no chance of theft at our end. We had the outer wrapping, and the correct presentation box for the watch, but the watch itself was missing - at a loss of hundreds of pounds. Obviously, a mistake had been made at the Amazon end - either a genuine stock mistake, or theft at their depot (?) but Amazon insisted that it was nothing to do with them and told the family member to go to the police, despite the fact that the family member had been shopping with Amazon for around 10 years and had an impeccable purchase record. The family member went to the police, who (not surprisingly) said that it was nothing to do with them, because no reportable crime had been committed. After several attempts with Amazon on the phone, the situation (the watch was meant to be a birthday present) started to stress the family member so much that she actually decided her own mental health was more important than the money, so she simply gave up, losing hundreds of pounds. I call ed Amazon on her behalf, but they would only deal with the account holder. I could not believe that Amazon would be so dismissive of a customer who has shopped with them hundreds of times over the past 20 odd years, but that's exactly what happened. My advice to anyone would be to think very carefully before buying something expensive from Amazon, because if you are unlucky enough to receive just an empty box, how are you going to prove that to them?

Great service deliver parcels gave it a 3 beacuse there’s a few scammers try to and dident resolved my issue for orderingscam me on phone otherwise will be 5

Used to have Prime. When I cancelled online, it stated everything went through ok. Then still got charged. Had to download the app, to contact a real person. Who did resolve it. But it was an inconvenience. I then had to uninstall the app, as Amazon doesn't understand that I want to buy items in the U.K & U.S.A. I have to visit each site separately to get the full range, with relevant costings. Prime also only works in the country of origin only. So I couldn't use it in the U.S.A or vice versa. Generally a poor level of customer satisfaction.

Used to be quite good..... But now it's full of problems.... Examples..... On my account.....(Details added by Amazon UK) Parcel handed to customer......No.....It was thrown over the fence....Even though there is a big clear sign that says "Parcels....Press the bell" Parcel delivered.......No......It never arrived.... So......Are the delivery drivers stealing parcels or was the item never really sent ??? Parcel running late.....No....It never turned up..... £130 worth of jewellery parcel.....Wedged in a gap on my fence near the gate where it could be seen by anyone walking by...... And if you put a review on Amazon saying.... Item never arrived but is yet showing as delivered....Amazon won't publish it.....Because it makes them look bad.....So what !....Don't lie to your customers in the first place.......And get your act together.....Before customers start shopping somewhere else......

My experience with amazon was always positive. But recently I bought 2 amazon products not from any seller, just amazon. I my surprise came when I fuon that you can't comment or rate them as you rate product from seller. I could not upload photos of the condition of the product whe it arrived damaged, and is very disappointing.

Prompt service, good prices, but almost* impossible to contact when things go wrong, thus one loses money sometimes in Amazon Prime transactions that have failed. *Once I got a voice to speak to / twenty times I have lost £10 - 50 on transactions which went wrong.
