Ordered a 1kg bag of Almonds on 'Prime Day'. When the delivery was supposed to happen I received a message saying "we were unable to deliver your package today". I found this strange as normally if we're not in Amazon drivers leave packages down our side passage. As I was out I thought no more about it as redelivery would be attempted before it is returned. Anyway, the next day I got a message saying that the item was being refunded. When I checked my account it said that the package was damaged in transit and is being refunded which is not what they initially said. In the meantime Amazon emailed explaining again what had happened and stating that "if you still require this item then please create a new order". Obviously if I had done this it would have cost around £5 more as the item was on a 'Prime Day' deal. I thought how cheeky! I would have expected them just to send a replacement. I must say however that normally I am happy with Amazon deliveries .

i purchased a Nikon Lithium battery on line, it was next day delivery and i was sent the wrong item. i received a pair of JVC ear phones. i went on line to see how i return the item, which was fine, but then despite saying i was sent the wrong item the system kept wanting me to print out a 'dangerous goods' sticker which meant my postage would go through the roof.

Having paying extra for prime delivery we have been disappointed with delivery on prime products from Amazon. I have found products are not being delivered next day as advertised for prime.

the format has changed making it difficult to actually buy a Kindle book - you get the option to download a sample but it no longer comes up with the 'buy with one click' option. Please return to the original format. Also, can the Aussie site please do DVDs etc as now I am an Aussie Amazon customer, I when I try to buy DVDs etc from the UK site, I get directed back to the Aussie site and can't get what the UK or USA sites have to offer.

I ordered Outsunny Garden Rattan Furniture Sofa Table Outdoor Wicker Weave Chairs Patio Set - Black (4-Piece) from amazon. The furniture was easy to assemble, only taking about an hour to complete. Although the tool that came with it wasn't really up to the job. Fortunately, I had one of my own. Once assembled, it looks great, my only crtitisism would be that the chairs are quite narrow. I know that the sizes were listed, but the image makes them seem bigger. Delivery, however, was a complete shambles. I ordered this set on the 27th May, and on the 30th I had an email from Amazon confirming delivery on Saturday the 3rd June. I had a call from Arrow XL on the Friday morning also confirming the delivery time on Saturday. By the time I got home from work on Friday, I had a voice mail from Arrow saying that they would not be delivering on Saturday because they did not have all the packages. If that's the case then why arrange the delivery. Obviously, no one was there when I called, and didn't get hold of anyone till the following Monday. They said that part of the goods had not been received from Amazon. Obviously taking no blame themseleves for losing a package. I then got a call confirming the delivery for Friday the 9th, only to receive another one from them on Thursday the 8th, cancelling it because, again, they did not have all the packages! Not wanting to wait for them to find their lost package, I cancelled the order and re-orderd it again, expecting Amazon to use a different courier after all the complaints I had made to them. But no, Amazon used Arrow again. This time Amazon scheduled it to arrive on Saturday the 17th June. On the Friday, I could see that Arrow had it, but the status change to contact customer. I contacted them straight away, and they said it was at that status to arrange a delivery date. I said that it was already arranged for the next day, but they said it wasn't. The earliest they could deliver it was the Monday. I had no choice but to agree to this or a later date. Once I had finished talking to them, I re-checked the tracking only to see that they had changed it to Postponed by customer! Making it look like it was my fault they didn't deliver it on time. Amazon seriously need to drop this courier. I tried to put this as a review, but strangely enough, amazon rejected it and prevented me from posting another review!

The wrong item (Printer) was delivered so I had to take it to a shop to be collected..very inconvenient..!! Following the replacement printer delivery..another printer was delivered..which I refused..!! Despite having Prime membership..Amazon still managed to mess things up badly..!!

yes, amazon has a good choice of items for sale and most of the time best prices but their customer service is very poor. They allow Chinese companies to sell on amazon, companies details aren't verified. If your item becomes faulty you have to send it back to the seller where in my case was china (even thought I ordered item and it was sent from UK) the law states that when I purchase it in Europe address it has to be returned to the dispatch place which in my case was UK. amazon didn't help me to fight the case. Each individual that was at the case said something else, I rang, I wrote tones of emails and still nothing. There is not 1 person assigned to your case, every time you deal with other person. I boycott this website now.

I don't know if Amazon got too big or they got too greedy, but the experience has been getting worse over the last year or two and it's now getting to the point of unbearable. Parcels get constantly thrown over the back gate - even when I'm in. Drivers are wonderful - they always smile and are always very polite. But they all seem to be terribly rushed and in a constant hurry: ring the door, wait 5 seconds and run to ring the neighbour. My parcels get delivered to wrong addresses, and I too received other people's parcels. Your customer support is dreadful - all agents just spew the stuff they seem to copy and paste from their handbook and never actually help you with anything unless you speak to a manager. I don't want to hear how important my problem it is to them and I don't want to hear their assurances of how they will endeavour to resolve it for me. I actually want something done about it! They all take absolute ages to respond to every message you type to them, and when they do finally respond, 9 times out of 10 they haven't actually read your message properly at all and I have to repeat myself over and over again. Do they not understand English? Or are they paid so little they don't actually care about their jobs? They just randomly drop out from the chat and pass you over to someone else. Just dreadful. Please, no "I understand how important it is to resolve this issue for you today"! That makes your customers' blood boil. Come on, get your act in order, Amazon.

The tracking on the package has not been helpful. I've had problems with the product, but not been able to contact the supplier as a result of the tracking information holding it up.

Once they have your money, then they forget you and then you have to write to them, as they do not bother about customer service, because in India they are brand and they think 'name is enough', but we have to stop this, please do not buy from amazon Thank you

I purchased a Samsung tablet (TABPRO S) from Amazon. This unit came with the seals on the product cut. I contacted Amazon who sent another unit which was promised overnight and sent in 2 days, and this too had the seals cut open on the product box. I tried multiple times to work with Customer Service on this issue and quickly resolve it but it is now a week since my first order and I am still waiting for yet another (3rd) unit to arrive (again not overnight but 2 days) and hopefully will not have the seals broken on this one. They did offer me a 10% refund, however I cannot get a clear answer as to WHY this is happening and why they are selling units that have the seals broken. I have talked to them on the phone and chatted with them online. All I get is "we are sorry" and "we will escalate this". Until then all I am doing is receiving items and sending them back with no other explanations about the issue. SO VERY FRUSTRATING!

Amazon does'nt charge shipping but for the prices they charge they profit on both ends, movies and items they sell on the internet. Sometimes things are marked up 110% from a local store, I thought they had good deals, wrong!

Purchased a phone from amazon described as "new". The item I received was unable to be unlocked by the carrier because the IMEI number was already attached to an account, so the phone was useless. Furthermore, the phone had a habit of turning itself on and the case would not close properly (sort of defeats the purpose of calling it "water proof"). A positive? They offered a full refund. Only, I have to pay a buck to have the label sent to me in order to mail it back.
