Appliances Direct was one of four companies linked from - effectively recommended by - Bosch on their website pertaining to the blender I'd chosen, which was at least £20 cheaper than any of the other vendors, including delivery. However, delivery wasn't due for a couple of weeks - compared to Amazon Prime, the most expensive, but next day. And this was later delayed a further 2 weeks as AD were awaiting delivery - leading me to believe they keep little stock. However, AD kept me well informed by email, and offered me vouchers as compensation, albeit a link to a tracker was broken, plausibly because it wasn't in transit. When it arrived, we realised that it was far too big and complex for our needs. Returning it, via our online account, was easy enough, and it could even be collected (for £20) ... except that although the web said my booking was confirmed, I received no email or SMS confirmation, email never mentioned that option, and indeed no collection happened! However, Customer Service was excellent, in all regards - most exceptionally, my call was accepted within 10 minutes, with a count-down given; very friendly and helpful; arranged pickup and refund, which all happened with no hitch, again well informed by email, tracker and online account. So although I was initially regretting my choice of vendor - given the delay due to lack of stock and two technical failures - for an expensive item when a big saving may be possible, with excellent Customer Service, if I'm prepared to wait for delivery, I'd certainly try them again.

Delivery was quick and efficient. Delivery driver was friendly and helpful. It was a shock to find that there was no cable on the oven, and disappointed that one of the wire racks was not welded.

Easy ordering, and got a good discount. Dishwasher arrived quickly but arrived with a dent. Company were very good at sorting out without question a replacement. My only negative is we paid for full service of disconnect, reconnect new product and take old one away. The delivery company people did not have a clue, saying it wouldn't fit into the existing space & suggestions of drilling through walls to plumb in( we already had a dishwasher in this space). I made contact with Appliance direct and got money back and luckily my Husband could do all required once home but if this wasn't the case would have been stressful. Second replacement delivery, we didn't pay for the extras and they were polite/friendly.

The booking process was easy and I was kept informed about the proposed delivery date and time slot. The washing machine arrived on the correct date but well outside the time slot. The delivery guys (who were extremely careful and very friendly) told me that the lorry had arrived two hours late and that this was the reason for the delay. It would have been nice if they'd unpacked the washing machine for me and removed the packing materials, but since these things weren't part of the deal and they were running late, I didn't press them on this. Overall I was very happy with the service provided and would recommend the company.

Unfortunately the first order was not collected by delivery service. Received emails saying goods delivered which was not true. When chased with Appliances Direct issue immediately realised and rectified. This service was truly amazing. Replacement with me within 24hrs.

Very quick delivery, within a day. Only thing that DPD driver almost left with out leaving parcel, I did say leave with neighbours, luckily they where watching🤦🏽

Placing my order with Appliances Direct was straight forward and its communication was good. Acknowledgement of receipt of order and of transfer of my appliance to its installer was very prompt. However, Appliances Direct sub-contracts the installation to a separate company. On receiving my appliance during the first week in December2024, the installation company told me they were fully booked until next year and could not even give an assurance that they would be able to install my appliance during January2025. When I told Appliances Direct that this was totally unsatisfactory and to cancel my order and refund my money they agreed to this without any aggravation and my money returned to my account in three working days. I would recommend purchasing from Appliances Direct for delivery to your address but not to include installation as part of the package. Employ a local qualified tradesman to do the installation.

The company is OK, but a product recall process took longer than I expected. This is what happened: 1) An item I purchased was subject to a product recall 2) After a delay a replacement item (with collection of recalled item) was arranged 3) This did not happen, not sure why 4) I contacted Applicance Direct, and another swap was scheduled. 5) This was successfull. So we go there in the end, but the product recall took two and half months! Not sure what caused the problem, maybe multiple issues.

Fast efficient service arranged for my cooker hood to be redelivered in no time. Happy with the customer service unfortunately one bulb is faulty which is the only disappointing thing!

Easy to order from a good website, delivered on time by DPD with good communication giving one hour delivery time window on morning of delivery. Cooker hood was exactly as described, fitted it over the weekend and it’s worked really well. 👍

The mark of a company is how they deal with things when the process doesn't go to plan. The product we ordered didn't get delivered and was shipped back to Appliances Direct. We received an email stating we'd be contacted within 24 hours but we weren't. I then chased through the portal and was then promised a response within so many hours but still nothing. Finally I called the number provided, got through to someone almost straight away, they could already see my order details before I said hello (excellent!). They could see the product was on the way back to them but rather than waiting for it, they shipped out another unit. We added more information to the delivery details and this time, it was delivered successfully. Finally, I did get a response from the portal chase and by then they could see it had been dealt with. Ideally someone could have called me much earlier without me having to chase at all.
