I have had great service from AO. In the past, so disappointed this time. Delivered on due date but failed to “level” the appliance. It leans backwards. I paid for installation. Worse still, the fridge freezer was switched on immediately. I questioned this but was told it was not an issue. Yes it is! The appliance should have been left for 2 hours, coolant to settle.

I ordered a dyson from AO.useless in January. Got text message informing it would be delivered on the 20.1.18. Since then (its now March) I get up to 3 text messages every day, including 7.00am on a sunday!, informing me it will be delivered on the20.1.18. AO.useless response has been pitiful, blaming everybody but themselves. Totally dissatisfied with this company and their arrogant attitude

We ordered items to the value of £650. Not a great deal of money I guess for A.O. to lose our custom !. As the bank were very efficient in doing their job and not authorising payment ( as we were new customers to A.O. ) We then had to authorise payment with the bank, which we did and so we phoned A.O. directly. A sales Advisor then told us we could not get delivery to our postcode area. My partner queried why not as we live just outside Edinburgh. My partner gave her the postcode, yet again. The sales Advisor still refused to take the order saying they don`t deliver to our postcode area. We have postcode EH52. We live 10 miles from the city of Edinburgh. A train takes us 15 minutes to the heart of the city. We can drive to Edinburgh within 30 minutes - yet we are not a viable postcode ? ? I contacted A.O. and they apologised saying they DO deliver to Edinburgh postcodes. I told them I was not placing the order, for their sheer incompetence. Their sales Advisor lost them £650 and potential orders in the future. Maybe the sales Advisor needs to back for additional training.

Persistant telephone calls trying to sell me extended warranty. I've had 7 calls in 6 days. Enough is enough and now becoming a nuisance. I've now blocked emails from them.

I bought a dyson from them. it was delivered in January. Since then I have received 2 -3 text messages everyday (some as early as 7.00am on a sunday) telling me the item will be delivered on 20.01.18. Their customer services is useless blaming the network provider and doing absolutely nothing to help. It is only AO's text message that causes the problem. Terrible company, terrible service, never use again

I wouldn’t even give a 1 star if possible, twice there has been problems, booked a time slot and then at last minute was changed to the next week, not good enough absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend anyone to use this!!!

Ordered a gas hob, tried to complete the order on line, but was unable to chose a 4 hour delivery slot. Then phoned to place the order and was placed under very great pressure to take out an Extended Warranty, I declined and explained that the only reason I had phoned was to ensure I wasn't allocated an early time slot because I am a full time carer. I received a call at 7am on the date of delivery, to say they would be there in 15 minutes! I had paid for fitting , to replace the hob I have had for 10 years. They were unable to fit it because there was a drawer underneath!. Absolutely appalling experience, not to be recommended

Ordered cooker was given a deliver date 18 days in the future 2 days before delivery date I was contacted to say order was amended to another 14 days in the future. Again 2 days before that delivery date the same happened. they offered a alternative cooker both times but was not the cooker we had ordered. So I cancelled you have to wait 3 to 5 working days for refund. But when you order the payment is taken immediately.

Ordered over £1700 worth of goods, paid for by credit card. They debit card and then cancel order - I ask them why and they’re unsure. Had ordered iPad for sons birthday. They then email me to say they’ve tried to contact me - no missed calls and I then call their customer services who are ‘unsure’ why the ordered had been cancelled. They then asked me had I moved house... all very strange. This is the 2nd time I used and and twice I’ve had problems. Won’t be using them again. It’ll be John Lewis from here!

Excellent customer service, delivery excellent, let you know by telephone what time they will deliver, next day delivery if ordered before 3pm. Very polite and helpful staff. Would recommend this company.

Appaling customer service. Dishwasher arrived faulty and 3 weeks on still arguing about me arranging a repair with the manufacturers. I want a replacement or refund, however now getting random repair companies saying want to do a repair on AOs behalf. Do what the law tells you

I have used these guys 4 times now when ordering large kitchen appliances. The customer service is superb. They keep you informed and give precise delivery information. Each follow up call from customer services after ordering has been polite and friendly as are their delivery drivers. Highly recommended

Ordered cooker 7.1 and paid in full. Delivery agreed for 4.2. On 3.2 had text to say delivery arranged, then an hour later a telephone call from them to say delivery would be sometime in March! They would not return my money (and then recharge when delivery confirmed) unless order was cancelled. Why would I leave my money with them indefinitely! Cancelled and got a much better deal elsewhere.

How are you supposed to see if you like a Tv without trying it because it was plugged in for 5 minuets to see what picture is like ao will only refund 55% so will keep as a spare and will never buy from ao again

It's the first time I've used AO and it won't be the last. They delivered and installed my washing machine exactly as per my order and sent me accurate and regular notification texts. Great service, polite, professional and informed installation man.
