Never use AO again cooker came damaged 2 days before Xmas could not get another out until a week later, had no cooker all Xmas ruined my family Xmas. Ordered from Currys who delivered on the 27th not damaged & £100 cheaper

Yet again, an excellent service, from ordering through to delivery; Chris & Mike (L A 54) arrived when they said they would. It was cold and dark, but did not stop them undertaking their job to the highest level - they even carried my tall larder fridge right into my kitchen and without a shadow of hesitation or grumble; what a difference that makes to the overall 'good feeling' to the whole transaction - thank you.

Ordered a new phone and can't fault the service. Was delivered much sooner than expected and phone was the best price I could find.

They made me happy up until the point of delivery/fitting, then they made me mad and I want a refund! Everything about the buying experience was very good, no issues and great friendly customer service team for the ones I was in contact with. The day of delivery arrived, the guys brought the new dishwasher in, we had already removed the old built in unit and cleaned the area, they fitted the washer, connected the drain and fill pipes and left saying it was incredibly tight to fit and would not recommend taking it back out unless it went wrong. When it came to turning the device on and using it .... nothing happened it would not switch on, suffice to say, they forgot to plug it in so out it all came to find the plug was still secured to the back of the unit with the little 3 prong plastic cover on the plug pins so they hadn't even tried to fit it correctly!!! the fill pipe was also not fitted tightly enough so was leaking, again this could have been done correctly had they taken a few minutes more to understand the layout and made sure things were connected. Yes it was tight but had they actually taken time to assess the area they could have got it in/out quite easily. Not a great experience, they basically said it had been fitted when in fact they cannot have even tried to turn it on to make sure their handy work was fit and proper. in this regard AO service is very poor in our experience.

We paid £90.00 for a fitting service for the washing machine we bought from this company. The fitters were rude and disrespectful: they showed little regard for our property slamming our doors, using tea towels and kitchen roll without our permission and swearing badly whilst manoeuvring the machine. Furthermore, just three hours after they left the washing machine began to leak as did the sink unit. Upon our inspection we found that there were pipes that weren't connected to any joints and that there was a leak springing from one of the pipes they had connected. With great frustration we rang the complaints line and, after having waited for a significant amount of time, we were put through to a call centre worker who informed us that we would have a while to wait to have it mended. So, we are left with a (probably ruined) load stuck in the washer, a sink that we can't use and damaged cupboard units. Strongly recommend that you bypass this company - or at least its fitting service!

Took my money, then said my order was out of stock after I rang up 3 days after it wasn't delivered. Customer service lied to me about the specifications of the phone, and were aggressive. I had to ask for a refund three times, and now I won't get my money back for 8 days. After shopping with AO I am now upset, have no phone, and I am minus £379.

The fridge/frieze arrived home, I did pay extra for delivery to be at an earlier hour, the delivery man unpacked the item and it was badly dented...I already had taken out all food from freezer and fridge and the guys had already put it in the lorry to dispose of it...they were very sweet and they phone head office and I was asked if I wanted to keep the dented item and get some compensation...I did say no! And I just wanted a new fridge frieze not a dented one, they said then the only thing they could do was to delivery another one in another 5 days time! Not good service at all! The delivery guys did tell me that it is quite often to his to happen as they have so many electrics after being unpacked, returned because of being damaged! Never again! If you buy from this company, make sure you have it unpacked for your own sake! I'll be going to the local shop to buy my fridge frieze!

You delivered a faulty product and are refusing to provide me with a refund until it is examined by an engineer You want me to travel 28 miles and catch 4 buses carrying a 24 inch square box weighing 8kg to take the item to the engineer to confirm it is faulty??? Passing the buck to the manufacturer when my contract is with you as you sold me the item. Always recommended you and gave positive feedback about your company will not be doing so again.

I WOULDN'T even have given ONE STAR, poor service in ever area, worst experience in my life.  1. My order was delivered the driver's just turned up just with my microwave and forgot fridge freezer. During a HOUSE MOVE, Christmas and New year on head with TWO LITTLE ONES AT HOME TO FEED, whole of my fresh/cold grocery shopping gone in the bin because they can't deliver for another 6 days. 2. The driver's call logistics lady very unhelpful answer I DON'T AND I'M SORRY. What should I do with her sorry? 3. Logistics told me to contact CUSTOMERRRRRRS SERVICEEEE?!! after a longgggggg wait of 40mins on the phone what i hear I DON'T KNOW AND I SORRY. This person contacted his manager to get an answer who was willing to compensation £20 for the food waste. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY PARENT BUYING £20 FOOD FOR 2 ADULTS AND TWO CHILDREN. 4. With no fridge freezer for another 7 days....actually NO WHEN THE FRIDGE FREEZER IS DELIVERED I HAVE LET IT SET FOR AT LEAST 12 HOURS THAT MEANS TOTAL 8 DAYS WITH NO FREASH FOOD. 5. I asked the customer service to put me through his manager and apparently she was going to attended meeting. Manager was available 1mins ago and now she is not. Absolutely bull s..... Trying to escape from customers like us will do no good to YOUR business. I won't recommend anyone shopping with ao.com and my worst nightmare is yet to come HOW THE I'M GOING TO MANAGE FOR 8 DAY'S😨😡😠😳

The first and last time I ever use this company. I placed an order over three weeks ago for a built in oven and microwave by Bosch. On The first delivery they failed to notify me half an hour before the delivery was due. They rearranged for the second time...I was then called by customer service telling me that the microwave was in a bad condition and they would arrange a third delivery. On the day of the third delivery, there was no text message or email so I rang them and was told by customer service that they could not get hold of the appliances as the suppliers had not sent them it yet. I was fuming!!!! First they messed up the delivery, second they said it was a faulty microwave and the third time they said the suppliers hadn’t sent them the stock!!! Ao.com are unorganised, unprofessional and lie!!!

Placed an order 14 days ago for delivery on Tuesday 19th Dec. For a electric Hob. Waited in all day Tuesday got an email to say delivery next day , Wednesday. It’s now Thursday not a peep from them . Tried to phone them, hung on for 10 minutes and gave up. I wish to god I’d used a local supplier. Will I use ao.com again ? I think not they’re useless. Pity there’s no Minus stars on the rating

I purchased an American Fridge Freezer with the promise it was available and it would be delivered on Monday. Once AO had taken payment, they then said it would actually be delivered on Tuesday. On the Monday I received an email saying delivery was confirmed for Tuesday. However on Tuesday morning they phoned to say it was damaged and would not be delivered and they had no more in stock. This is one week before Christmas and I am now in the situation where I have no fridge for Christmas. The refund will not be in my account until after Christmas, therefore I will not be able to buy a different one. I now have no money and no fridge right before Christmas. I am absolutely appalled by the level of customer service received, I feel as though they have taken my money and have been stringing me along with little thought as to the situation I am now left in. Disgraceful from such a big company, 1 week before Christmas - Do NOT recommend!!!

Terrible experience. Bought a TV in November (Black friday) for delivery on 19 Dec. Stayed in ALL DAY and when I tracked it I kept getting a new later time slot until it said midnight !? Spent half the day on the - the driver said the van broke down and I should have received a notification (no). Customer services said they would call me back at 9am the next day with a re-delivery date.... it's 10.40 and I am still waiting for their call. Next time it's John Lewis. I will never use this company again.

Absolutely disgusted pleased an order yesterday for apple airpods which said was in stock only to get a call this evening to be told that they were not in stock and won’t be until after Christmas missing out on chance to travel and collect some which is no good but I can have a refund which takes 3-5 working days to process leaving me with no money to even try elsewhere totally ruined Christmas for my son
