I have over the last six months spent over a thousand pounds buying a gas hob 55 in tv and a Dyson Before that I have bought a freezer and a dryer Today I wanted to buy a Panasonic microwave for £249 I chatted with Harriet asking for a deal like a discount of £10 she told me to look else where sorry will never use you again Stuart crook

i bought this cooker brand new ao in august 2019 and in october 2019 grill stopped working called ao they said call amica called amica they said they ordered the part still received 2weeks ago 1 feb 2020 called amica they said engineer will fix it still no engineer they said you haven’t called know it’s 15/02/2020 still cooker not fixed lesson learned never buy from these con people

Don’t bother, brought a dishwasher and after 5 months it stopped working and took 10 weeks to get replaced. After being push from one person to another it has caused me nothing but upset and unnecessary stress. They are happy to take your money but when it breaks down it’s a totally different story Go to curry’s.

AO has caused me great distress and inconvenience by failing to turn up not only once but for two deliveries! On both occasions I was reassured by the customer service team the delivery was on it's way when this was not the case. I had taken time off work and cancelled plans as the first attempt delivery was supposedly running 10 hours late, however never arrived. The driver had clearly just gone home early and nobody notified me. They provide you with the driver's details in a text but on both failed deliveries I could never get hold of them (neither could the customer service team). To make things worse the driver was deceitful and lied on the second scheduled delivery by saying they attempted delivery when I was not in when I had stayed in all day looking out for them. I also made it very clear they should call me if they have problems parking or entering the building. The driver could not even describe the property and could not provide any evidence of them arriving. They clearly lied which is disgusting. AO have completely let me down and I would never use them again in a million years. They have caused me so much stress during the chaos of moving house and I would advise you stay well clear of the company due to the unprofessional and deceitful drivers they use.

Ao products are cheaply made by each company and sold as not fit for purpose. I had 3 items breakdown in under 2 years and AO has not dealt with it properly and they have damaged my floor throughout and tried to get out of paying for damages. AO has no interest in customers after and will use and legality to swindle you once they have your money.

I will never buy from this company again or would I recommend to anyone. Last year I purchased a very expensive large fridge freezer and a hotpoint Aquarius washing machine. Over £1000 both together. The fridge freezer started playing up within 6 months and an engineer advised a new one as it would a couple of hundred to put right. Now the washing machine Is leaking, we paid over £100 for the seal to be replaced but that's clearly not the issue as its still leaking. On calling AOL we were told there would be a call out fee and if proven it was our fault it would not cover the guarantee. Absolutely disgusting that both of these appliances have lasted less than a year. Both been replaced with Argos, should never have used AO.

I work for AO.com and I would never buy from them. I purchased an appliance the first week I worked for them and it looked like it had been thrown off the loading bay when it arrived. added to this it turned up late. We get a discounted staff list each week or 10% on website, but I would rather pay full price from another supplier. A colleague of mine recently bought a TV, I asked them if it was off us and she laughed and said NO! I went to Currys. Stock is roughly treated here.

Damaged my property - refuse to pay. Paid for installation of new ovens and removal of old. On removal, the team dropped the oven on our front porch, damaging the step and the tiling. AO asked me to obtain quotes from builders on my own time, then after I'd found one willing to do the job told me it was too much and they would only pay for new tiles, not labour! Which was a quarter of the cost of the job! Shocking service, now left with a porch with cracked and broken tiling to fix at my own expense. Illegal and wrong!

Great price but rubbish delivery service. Stayed in 7am to 7pm - online tracker kept pushing back delivery eventually past 10pm saying “we are late but it’s still coming”. No one called. Gave up at 11.20pn. Called AO this morning (they didn’t call me) and apparently they stop deliveries at 7pm. . Why didn’t the tracker say that??? Poor. Very poor. Should have paid a few pounds extra for another firm

Bought a new company computer. It stopped working after a few days. AO completely tried to disregard their responsibilities under the Consumer Rights Act, telling us we needed to contact the manufacturer as it wasn't their problem to sort. Really poor service, we are now in the middle of issuing a notice before action as AO are acting completely illegally. Anyone thinking of purchasing from them - don't! If you're dissatisfied they won't try to rectify your issue.

Ensure you video any deliveries being made to your property. Despite me jumping through hoops for the claims department and sending endless photos of damage to our kitchen floor, they have dismissed our claims and left us with over £800 worth of damage to our kitchen floor. I have purchased thousands of pounds worth of equipment from AO over the years and I shall never use them again. They are an utter disgrace when it comes to resolving genuine complaints. Disappointed doesn’t come close. AVOID!!!!!

Very poor pre sales customer service on the phone regarding an under counter fridge and freezer I had earmarked to buy. Given two radically different accounts about ordering goods, charges involved and the service I would be receiving. After choosing what I wanted to buy and being on the point of ordering, I have had to go elsewhere. Nice to know you can afford to turn customers away but please remember, ao.com, business might not always be so brisk.

I bought a hoover and steam mop set, neither work properly (hoover doesn’t suck and drops what it collects when turned off and steam mop doesn’t clean). Contacted AO to return within 30 days. They then only offered me an 80% refund or a 90% refund if I exchanged for another of their products as the products have been used (!) this is their returns policy - by law they are required to give a full refund under the consumer rights act If within 30 days of purchase. I’m still arguing with them via email and haven’t received a refund of had the useless items collected. - AVOID AO

Received confirmation of the delivery time only to receive another to informing me that only one of the two items would be delivered today. The other will arrive in 9 days. Surely that would have known the day before delivery that the item was out of stock? Bad service, doubt if I would use AO again.

Horrendous service. DO NOT USE AO.COM. Was given a time slot of between 7am - 7pm so took and unpaid day off work. This was then narrowed down to 4pm and 7pm on the day of the delivery. At 10.15pm I was still waiting, rang customer services to find that the delivery driver had been sent back to the depot and my dashwasher wasn’t being until 8 days later. Unhelpful customer service employers on the phone and the manger I spoke to was patronising and short. Really disappointing, I will not be using AO.com ever again.

Delivery of a D & G replacement Tumble Dryer on 13 December. Driver +1 arrived, put dryer in middle of kitchen, took old machine and left. Being 74 years old and disabled, left to unpack myself, men said not their job, not happy with delivery service at all
