“I ordered an AT4040 microphone from Bax as it was on at a good price and they appear to be UK based. And then they asked me to review it and them. Well I’d love to be able to review the mike but it hasn’t arrived (days after it should have done) and they don’t respond when you email them to ask where it is. The initial problem is they aren’t UK based. They ship from Europe using a shipper who then passes the parcel to Hermes - but the only tracking you have is via the first shipper which is useless. Oh and in French! I got in touch with them to ask where it had got to - no response. So my only advice is avoid like the plague and use a better company who is actually based in the UK.”

“This is the first time I have ordered with Bax. The whole experience was problem free, and I received my order when they said I would. It is a very good product, and well packaged. Although I didn't speak to anyone, I felt that I had been given a personal service, with the email updates from them and their carriers. I would certainly use and recommend Bax to all my friends.”

“On March 7, I sent them the product (Icon Platform M +) as a guarantee for the repair of a button that had left their site. Since then I have not had a response to any of my e-mails, with the intention of obtaining information on the status of my product supposedly under repair, by phone. nobody attends you. Yesterday I received the product, AFTER ALMOST 3 MONTHS AND WITH THE SAME BREAKDOWN WITHOUT REPAIR !!! AND IN UNPLEASANT PACKAGING CONDITIONS !!. They are a real hoax. Do not be fooled by giving only priority to the low price, then they are all problems, it is advice!”

“Bax invited me to review the product I recently purchased. Well, its now 5 days since my purchase was due to be delivered, but nothing has been received - thus making my review rather difficult! I have rung customer services every morning and received a promise of a call back - so far, nothing.”

“I ordered a 12" LP case as a birthday gift for my grand-daughter. The case is great but a box inside a box seems a little wasteful. I can't give it five stars because of Hermes being the carrier - delivery promised one day but didn't happen (strangely a separate item WAS delivered by Hermes that day!) and I couldn't understand the guy's accent when he did deliver the next day so I have no idea why it was late. I have had so many bad experiences with Hermes that I try to avoid them if possible, perhaps BAX should do the same?”

“I ordered a Roland SPD:One Wav pad from Bax Music. The communication was excellent- I called to check in delivery, spoke to someone straight away, and received a confirmation by email soon after. The tracking of the delivery worked perfectly, too. The Roland Pad is excellent- easy to program and already in full use less that four days from arriving (see photo)”

“Do not trust this company. I have placed an order on 11th of May and it is written it would be delivered in 2 business days, this is the 8th day and the courier company (Hermes) is still expecting the package. When I gave a call to Bax.co.uk, they told me it will be delivered by Mondial Relay from Netherlands but they could not provide me even tracking details for Mondial Relay. I believe that they sold a product which they do not have in their stocks. Otherwise If someone brought my package by walking from Netherlands It would be delivered to me by now. On the other hand If I knew they are not located in the UK I would not place any order from them.”

“Appalling. No sign of my product, no replies to my emails. No replies to my telephone calls, and this presumably because Bax Music is not at the address in Kent (it is only a rented virtual address). I was sent a tracking number at the time of my payment but, after more than a week, Hermes still does not have the package.”

“Dreadful. Ordered item 9th May for delivery 14th. Money taken from my bank account on 11th. Still not arrived. 3 emails unanswered. Requested a refund. No response. After several attempts to phone finally spoke to someone on reception who promised to investigate. 24 hours later still nothing. I understand that things go missing. It's the customer support which is appalling. Whether they are understaffed or just incompetent is not clear. I've already had a wasted day and cancelled appointments waiting for a non-existent parcel. I am going to have to consider legal proceedings to get my money back. Beware.”
