“We've been trying to create a contemporary worship space in our church using LED stage lighting. Changing colours manually is laborious, and inflexible, so we decided to invest in a DMX controller. Our church is also used as an Arts Centre, hosting comedy, drama, music and so on and so looking longer term when the antique stage lights are replaced with LEDs we wanted a controller that could deal with multiple universes and not require the DMX cables to be daisy chained. Having identified the Enttec Storm10 as the best fit for our needs, the next thing was to get the best price (we are not a wealthy church, and are desperately trying to raise a significant sum to pay for redevelopment including sustainable heating). Having shopped at BAX before they kindly sent me a 10% off voucher which I used against this item (which was already well priced). The item arrived quicker than I had expected and it is performing better than expected. Brilliant! I made up long DMX cables using CAT6 ethernet cable, and ethernet to DMX using CAT5 which plugged straight into the Storm10. We already have a network so linking the Storm 10 to our rather antiquated iMac was straightforward. After installing the free open source QLC+ software we were ready to go. A word for anyone thinking of doing the same, I wasted an afternoon trying to get the lights to go on when the problem was that QLC+ had been set up using "Universe1" and that is what I set the Storm10 to via its web interface, whereas it should been set to the the QLC+ universe minus 1. In other words "0". After doing that all worked well. Bear in mind that I'm a DMX newbie, the stuff is pretty easy to grasp. Thank you. P.S. If I win the draw, for £1000, it's going on the best drum isolation booth you stock - probably!!”

“Another good experience with Bax Music. Great Service and Communications. I'm very pleased and surprised at the quality of my new Michael Kelly Hybrid Guitar. I didn't expect it to be so good at what it does, even the piezo pickup is usable, somewhat rare in my experience. 've spent a lot more on guitars in the past and been a lot less pleased with the result. I recommend this wee guitar, very playable.”

“I still haven't received my equipment 10 days after purchase when delivery should have been 4 days. No communication or update from the seller or courier. When I called, the lady that picked up was very unhelpful and useless. She could not provide any meaningful advice and also sounded like she wasn't concerned or bothered about my plight. Feels like a regret purchasing from Bax.”

“Bought a brand new Lewitt microphone which I discovered was faulty (excessive white noise hiss which wasn’t happening on an identical item I have). It’s gone over the 30 days so I accept I can’t have a refund but there are refusing to simply exchange it and are saying it will take 2 months to try and fix it! Only then, MIGHT I get a replacement if they can’t fix it! In the meantime, for 2 months, I have no microphone as a working musician. I’ve had no confirmation of receiving the item back, no response to emails of video clearly showing the fault, no reply to my email chasing it. Will not be purchasing any item from them again.”

“Worst online and phone experience ever! Ordered a bass amp in plenty of time for upcoming gigs. Only a kettle lead arrived. When I called the office the same day nothing got sorted. Said I needed the money back immediately so I could order from somewhere else that day, still waiting for my money nearly a week on. Offered me a discount which I could not get untill following week, and now ive finally received voucher code the amp is no longer available unless I can wait another 3 weeks. Whats most annoying is how unwilling the people at Bax where to rectify their failures. They could of at the very least held the amp for me so they didn't run out. Then holding onto my money so they can earn some interest off it is the final insult. Terrible business”

“I was torn between purchasing either the outlaw coyote basic or the plus and I must admit that even at £146 for the “plus” model, with its roasted maple neck in the spec, it was tempting! However, as I prefer a Rosewood fingerboard to almost any other wood finish on the fretboard and the pickups in both guitars are supposedly the same , Inplumped for the basic and At over £60 less than the plus version, it sounds amazing for the money! Don’t expect a perfect guitar for just in excess of £80, including a basic gigbag, lead and free, double boxed delivery, but when compared to other standard Tstyle guitars, it’s great fun. Well done Bax for fast delivery!”

“This G chromatic harmonica was an urgent replacement for and older identical model that had become defective. It came promptly within two days of ordering. ( Please note that Hohner harmonicas do not go out of tune, but after about 20 years some of the reeds don't respond to normal breath pressure and this spoils the flow of the music - no good ffffor performance! )”
