Very good delivery with the circumstances and a good selection of products to whet the taste buds. Nice friendly service from Angus when calling to stop the subscription due to no longer being required

When you call to cancel something, you always expect some level of counter offer that I was totally prepared to bounce off. Douglas was so nice about suggesting alternatives that I was gently convinced and didn't even mind - look forward to receiving the beers soon and I'll have to think of something else to counteract the calories...

The beers were fantastic and really enjoyable, service and delivery were spot on too. I would happily keep my subscription going but I just can't quite justify the price at the moment.

Very good service (fast delivery and safe packaging) and friendly customer service. I am just not enough of a beer aficionado to keep my subscription on. However, for anyone really into crafted beers, it is a no brainer.

Loved the service, just had to cancel due to money and moving! I always hate having to cancel things and Angus, a lovely customer service member, made it as painless as possible, helped me know how to start again and even had a little chat!

I enjoyed the beer and thought the service was very good value, I just realised that I am a bit of a beer philistine and can happily drink anything, so no need for this. I agree with some comments here that the heart always sinks when you have to call a phone line to cancel something, but I was only waiting 5 minutes and a very friendly customer service guy called Angus sorted out the cancellation with no fuss. I liked the service very much, it just wasn't for me.

Beer52 makes it very very dificult to cancel your subscription DON'T SUB AVOID AT ALL COSTS DON'T SUPPORT PREDATORY BUISNESS MODELS. also they definetly pay for reviews on these sites just awful

Brilliant customer service. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The beers were of a high standard and the variety was great. Had to cancel due to lack of funds rather than an issue with the products.

I really enjoy the selection of beers and the beer magazine. I like that there is a different theme each month. Always interesting beers! Great friendly customer service too.

Shocking customer service. Avoid avoid avoid! Delivered a box outside of my house, without permission, while I was away on holiday. Didn't leave box with a neighbor or take back to deport like most delivery companies would do, just left on the door step. This lead to it being severely damaged in the sun during a heatwave and then the subsequent rain. Expected this to be a simple issue to resolve on my return home, however Beer52 took no responsibility for this, and blamed me for not contacting them to tell them I would be away. No notice of this requirement is given when signing up or on the website at the moment. I never gave permission for a delivery to be left outside my house but apparently they consider this acceptable practice and any damage from the second it reaches your doorstep is your fault. Customer service also very slow. Takes at least 4 days per reply to an email and answers change depending on who their end replies. At one stage I was told they would replace my box and then on asking how to arrange it that offer was swiftly changed and withdrawn. If you sign up beware that if something goes wrong, they will blame you and not actually sort out the problem. Very disappointing as could potentially have been a long term enjoyable subscription. I don't usually leave bad reviews online, but genuinely shocked at how bad this customer service response was! In summary - avoid avoid avoid!!!!!

Got a free box to try and it turned up quickly and well packaged. I only liked 1 beer in the box so decided to cancel. The first website I've seen in ages where you actually have to call to cancel so they can give you the hard sell on getting another box... not a fan of the tactics here.

I cancelled in June, received written email confirmation of the cancellation, yet the last two months I've been charged and received the boxes. I contacted them in July after the first one and sent multiple emails and calls were ignored. Now they are offering a good will gesture refund of £5 or else I have to pay for the return of the boxes and then request a refund! Madness!

I was very impressed with the service and the operators were most friendly. Unfortunately my husband decided to stick to Jail Ale so we didn’t have another order. However, I do hope the business is very successful.
