Delivery never arrived. Was charged for beer that was possibly left in the street. Why didn't the couriers simply ring the doorbell? I have a ring system so know when there is a delivery. Beer has disappeared. Very poor service

After cancelling my subscription, going through loads of internet pages and then having to ring I received an email saying "Wohoo your beer is on it's way". I phoned up immediately to say I had cancelled but was told because I can't prove i called, the subscription was still active. Why is the onus on the customer to prove they phoned rather than on the company to prove they didn't? They wanted me to provide a screen shot of the number dialed from my phone, as my number is hidden their end so they can't see it. But my records don't go back that far. Why on earth can't Beer52 take an email or online cancellation? So we, the cherished customer, have a record of the cancellation. It seems to me that they are behaving underhandedly to keep their subscriptions. My advice to potential customers is don't sign up unless you are willing to sign up for the rest of your life!

What a great BEER experience! I received my first BeerBox for free and could enjoy every single beer. They are all great! I highly recommend everyone at least trying getting the one box for free and if don't like it you can stop the subscription although I believe you won't do that. Every month I receive a new box with 8 different new craft beers and also they always offer me new discount vouchers - SUPER FAST DELIVERY!

The courteous and friendly service and advice. The great variety of beers in each delivery. The completely hassle free acceptance of my cancelation (because I couldn't drink them fast enough - I'm nearly 80 and my wife doesn't drink beer!)

Angus on the phone was very helpful and cheery. I only had to wait about 5 minutes and everything was solved after a couple of minutes of chatting to Angus. I was calling to sadly cancel, not through any fault of beer52 (the beers were great) no hassle though sorted quickly. Nice to speak to a human on the phone and not a robot!

If you want to expand your beer experience and try something new, this is the thing. I signed up for the free case, which was about £5 for delivery. I'll admit it wasn't really my thing (I think it was a taster), though none of it was un-palatable. The 2nd case arrived when I was away, and my wife put it in the fridge. I've only just looked at it now at it seems a bit better. However I have cancelled my subscription as I have to cut my budget. A bit annoyed I had to ring up to do that (you can pause the subscription for 1 month online). I expected a hard sales pitch and inducements to carry on. However I spoke to Angus (I think), who was very friendly, and we chatted about places in the UK to visit! I probably took up more of his time then vice versa. He cancelled no issues. He did offer 1/3 off the next planned delivery (New York beers which sounded nice), and also asked if I wanted to be kept on mailing list for 1 off offers that don't need subscription. Other than that, nice and easy, with no hard sell.
