Angus on the phone was very helpful and cheery. I only had to wait about 5 minutes and everything was solved after a couple of minutes of chatting to Angus. I was calling to sadly cancel, not through any fault of beer52 (the beers were great) no hassle though sorted quickly. Nice to speak to a human on the phone and not a robot!

If you want to expand your beer experience and try something new, this is the thing. I signed up for the free case, which was about £5 for delivery. I'll admit it wasn't really my thing (I think it was a taster), though none of it was un-palatable. The 2nd case arrived when I was away, and my wife put it in the fridge. I've only just looked at it now at it seems a bit better. However I have cancelled my subscription as I have to cut my budget. A bit annoyed I had to ring up to do that (you can pause the subscription for 1 month online). I expected a hard sales pitch and inducements to carry on. However I spoke to Angus (I think), who was very friendly, and we chatted about places in the UK to visit! I probably took up more of his time then vice versa. He cancelled no issues. He did offer 1/3 off the next planned delivery (New York beers which sounded nice), and also asked if I wanted to be kept on mailing list for 1 off offers that don't need subscription. Other than that, nice and easy, with no hard sell.

I’ve really enjoyed trying some different beers. Excellent customer service too. I’m now on my fourth case but I’m probably going to cancel because I think it’s a bit expensive in the long run. Might return later when I fancy treating myself.

Very easy to deal with. Angus was very pleasant on the phone. Although the beer box I had initially wasn't for me, I will likely try some of the other options in the future.

Nice experience, but currently as the only offer a mixed box rather than an all dark beer box I wasn't getting quite enough of the kind of beer I like. Still, easy enough to cancel so long as you don't mind being on hold for a little. The phone reps have been polite and helpful in my experience.

I've always had an excellent experience with Beer 52. Some of the beers can occasionally be a little touch and go, but it's great to try something new that I'd not usually come across otherwise – and they're priced competitively. I'm really impressed with customer service, it can take a little while to get through to them on the phone (around 15mins) but they're ever so friendly and really great with answering any queries.

awful company took me 3 attempts to cancel my subscription and got charged for 2 boxes after I had asked to cancel my subscription.... still waiting for a refund

I used the Beer52 service for a couple of months and then cancelled my subscription. Three months later I see they've charged me again out of the blue. I complained and got a response to say, "we listened to your cancellation call and he told you he had a credit on your account that would expire"...why on earth does this mean they charge me again!? "We'll allow you to post it back but won't cover the return postage costs"...what on earth? So you can charge me without authorisation months after I cancel the service, then tell me you won't even refund this new charge or organise the return. A disgraceful joke. Won't go near this company ever again.

Honest what a shambles of a service! I decided to give their subscription box a go. I am vegan so chose light beers only. I received dark beers containing milk (not a great start but mistakes happen). Their response was simply "we'll give you £5 off your next box". So not only have I paid for beers I can't drink, but they refused to ship me out any replacements!? They then proceeded to ignore my emails and eventually replied to say they had cancelled my subscription. Do not waste your money on this company!!! Yes the beers are fun, but they will not sort out any issues for you. They are only interested in how they can continue to make money.
