“Tried to cancel. Ater taking me through 4 pages onn their website it said I have to ring to cancel. Put on hold for 10 minutes then patched through to another customer trying to cancel. Absolute scummy company trying to stop you cancelling so they can blag your money.”

“Shame I can't give 0 stars. Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. Really long delivery time and for the name "Beer52" you get a lot more ales than beers. Tried to cancel my subscription and they were so rude, talking over me and not caring about my situation. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”

“What’s not to like about beer being regularly delivered to your door? Great to have a different selection of beers to try each month and being able to choose light beers only was perfect for me. Customer service from Angus was spot on, no hard sell when I had to reluctantly cancel my subscription - larger companies should take note!”

“Really poor customer service. I received a box with 2 smashed bottles.This was blamed on the courier and no apology or refund. I'currently trying to cancel subscription which is impossible as they will not answer the phone. Very unprofessional-Avoid!!”

“Swift delivery, interesting beers & great magazine to find out more. Great value & really enjoyed by my brother as a birthday gift. Easy to contact staff who were friendly & informative. Highly recommend this company & service. Shame I don’t drink beer or I’d have a subscription!”

“Angus came across as a very friendly professional customer service advisor. Sadly, we were phoning to put our account on hold, during the lockdown we haven’t had friends over, so had built up a beer backlog. It will be a great party when we are allowed. Angus was just exactly the guy you want to talk to to get things organised. Thank you Beer 52, I’m sure we will be back at a later date.”

“This product is not suitable for purchase as a gift. I ordered a 6 month subscription for my father in the UK. It seemed to be going relatively well, despite being able to give them limited/no preferences information, so he couldn't specify that he doesn't drink stouts, which went to friends. At the end of six months, I discovered on the website that I needed to call to cancel (from Australia, and was on hold for 15 minutes). I was then told that they needed to speak to him to cancel it, despite the fact that I set up the account and it's my payment information. The customer service rep on the phone was uninterested in helping us and just said we should email, saying this happens a lot. He didn't even apologise that this was a pain for us.”

“Communications are friendly. Beer is expensive. Great if you are IPA, Stout/Porter, Lager or Sour focused but if you’re after brown, amber, red or golden ales look elsewhere like the pub!”
