Im very disappointed with the customer service and how my order was dealt with. I made order on 25/02/2019 and it supposed to be delivered on 19/03. After waiting 3 weeks for my delivery on 18/03 (day before planned delivery) I was informed that my order will be delayed for another 10 days until 29/03/19. I was really disappointed and annoyed about delay and being told last minute after I booked day off from work to make sure I’m at home when bed arrives. I was considering cancellation of order and I asked what I need to do to cancel my order. During phone call on 18/03/19 I was told I need to send email to the relevant department to make cancellation which in the end I haven’t done. On 25/03 I rung customer services to find out about progress on my order and I was told that order has been cancelled! No information was sent to myself, no email, no phone call, no txt. If I didn’t call to get update on my order I wouldn’t even know that it has been cancelled (which I didn’t even asked for in the end). I would sat at home on 29/03 just waiting for delivery. Its shocking and disappointing. I have never received such bad service for something I paid for. There shouldn’t be a place for situation like this in big company like yours. I will never buy anything form your company. It was just waste of time. I waited 4 weeks for bed and now I have to order somewhere else and wait again for delivery. Unacceptable.

My mam purchased a mattress from Benson's 13 months ago with a 5 year guarantee at the cost of £813.oo. the mattress has sunk in the middle on both sides as we turn it regularly. We complained, sent photos an inspecter called did loads of daft stuff and said they couldn't honour the guarantee. What a load of rubbish he laid on the bed and said he could feel the lumps he even asked if mam missused the bed mam is 75, so did not quite know what he meant. He stood the mattress on its side and asked mam if she could hold it while he did more daft stuff. Mam was alone at the time so we feel she was intimated. Benson's certainly have not heard the last of this!

Purchased single divan bed 11th Jan, and delivery was 5th Feb. To cut a long story short, staff in shop were very helpful but customer services is worse than APPALLING. Bed Damaged so sent email with images of damage and was advised replacement bed will be ordered but 3-week wait. After no sign of replacement, decided to cancel order but had to wait 10 days for them to collect it and 6 days for them to process refund. Delivery men even said this is all they seem to deal with these days. Asked numerous time to speak with customer services manager but they declined and one ad visor named MUSH even hung up on me. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Disgusting customer service. Told bensons about our competion date of our new house and they would only delivery it end of February which was fine. Get to the delivery date, we waiting all day till 10pm at night waiting for our delivery still no show. We even nipped to the store to ask what was happening. The gentleman John at your Leeds Birstall store was very helpful, he made it clear that was nothing he could do. He even suggested to cancel our order and buy else where. Working as a manager myself for a different retail store, Their colleagues are obviously not bothered to lose customers and made myself feel very stupid about even purchasing from them. Definitely would not recommend. Maybe some training for the staff to delight their customers.

Bought a bed and mattress 2nd Feb 2019. Night before delivery which was March 15th was told mattress was not in stock. Bed was delivered on the Friday I rang on Tuesday 19th March to be told mattress was in stock but could not be delivered until March 25th. I got up at 6.30 am van arrived just after 7am. Guess what no mattress !!! Rang customer service who said they would inform distribution and someone would ring me. No phone call so contacted customer services who said there had been a problem with obtaining mattress. I informed them that I had already been told mattress was there !! I was then told they could not deliver until March 29th. Apparently computers decide when and where deliveries take place. My advice give them a wide berth unless you’re happy to sleep in the floor !!!!

Worst company ever. I’m more annoyed with our government allowing U.K. high streets to have such a company in existence they deserve to bankrupt !!! AVOID this company at all costs

Shocking dont use ive bn waiting for 6 months for items to be delieverd . Customers service complete waste of time always being fobbed off. We have now been banned from the shop how discusting. When some items was delivered the drivers attitude stunk damaged house left bedroom item down stairs and wouldnt take upstairs.cant get answers no one returns call

The Worst experience ever!! We paid GBP2200 for ‘Full set’ bed, we’ve been told it comes with the headboard, which was never the case. Called customs service for refund as we felt it was mis-selling. Without any further investigation, They denied everything & refused to proceed refund. They were rude on the phone and not willing to listen! Avoid this company! Their price is high, their delivery service is horrible and their customer services is a nightmare!

Wish I had read these reviews before buying from Bensons. Bed good, but it is the after sales service that is appalling. Despite dozens of emails with no response, not able to speak to anyone over the telephone, and the local store doing nothing, looks as if we are stuck with a base that consists of two ‘left’ halves which do dot fit together.

If there was a zero star option I'd take it! Warning.... DO NOT USE BENSOND Ordered a headboard on 12.01.2019 and I am still waiting on delivery. Multiple calls made to the store and customer service and still no answers. I've received delivery of the headboard twice now and on both occasions only half a headboard has arrived. The only thing bensons say is that it's a supplier issue. Now my emails are being ignored. Very poor customer service. I have paid for the item and no offer of my money back until I receive the goods. Very disappointed

I spent over £2200 on a new bed with Bensons, and I wish that I had purchased it from as professional and caring vendor. Their delivery team damaged the Bed during delivery. We then had to wait almost 2 months for a replacement. During this time seeping on a mattress on the floor. Customer services mess you about, could care less, and provide broken promises. Do not waste you money and time with Bensons for Beds.

My order number is cha46322771 I have bought beds and wardrobe after weeks delivery comes as ring colour they have rearranged new delivery for an other 6 weeks But had come as missing part and broken wardrobe door, An other delivery has been rearranged again missing item hasn’t been accepted Unbelievable November 2018 I have made order still I haven’t received my order I have passed my xmass without that set I have paid already for them, Now in March I have ask for money back

Wouldn't even give it 1 star, 3rd October 2018 we got our bed and it was broken, after terrible communication, practically non existent to be fair, and multiple cancelled appointments on their side we have only just got the new bed frame on the 20th March 2019. Tried to call them and it's a 2 hour wait, not possible for me to wait 2 hours on the phone when I have a 2 year old and I'm still waiting on a reply from an e-mail I sent in January!!! Awful experience, will never use again. Tried getting a refund and for them to pick the bed up but no answer. We were having to sleep on a mattress on the floor since the 3rd October when the bed arrived. Not acceptable at all. When I called the third time to ask where our bed frame was the woman said there wasn't anything on their system, she implied I was a lier and that I never asked for a new bed frame. Not happy and will take legal action if I have to.

The customer service at Benson for beds is terrible. The beds was due to be delivered last week and they arrived with half a beds an the mattress. We refused delivery and the customer service department rearranged the delivery of the full bed a week later. Today, we received a call from the delivery drive, when I asked him if the full bed was on the van, he said "o no, it just states half a bed." We then waited all day in the house for the bed and they never contacted us. We also tried to call the mobile number back and they didn't answer the phone! We keep calling the branch (bedford) and the line is dropped!

Will never buy anything from Bensons again! We purchased 2 beds about 4 years and had a fault with the mattress which Bensons sent someone out to look at it. I was told it was tolerable although the mattress was sinking in areas! We were told they wouldn’t replace as it was in the wrong bed frame!We spent ages looking around for a new bed and mattress and found one again from Bensons which cost us nearly £2000, the bed arrived as agreed to be told there was a problem with the order, my new mattress protector and pillows was not in the order, then to be told I had one wrong half of the otterman base delivered, we had paid for the bed to be assembled for us and the guys have had to make best of putting the bed together, I have a wobbley head board as it isn’t secure correctly and they have had to drill holes to bracket the 2 bases together, they haven’t been a able to put the wheels on the bed either. I called the store manager at the branch we brought it from to be told they would take the order back and the order one for me, this would have left us with nothing to sleep on, we came to an agreement that I would except the order as it is under the agreement that I would have a full order of a new mattress and base to keep my 10 yr warranty, the store manager agreed to this, I was then advised the day after that it was now with customer care and we would only be getting the correct half of the base! I’ve had to go out and buy another mattress protector and because one half of the base is small and cheaper quality my mattress is hanging off the bottom and side of the bed and already the mattress is not flat, I have called customer services to be told they will only speak to my husband, so my husband had called and emailed them to add me on the account and still they keep saying they won’t speak to me, by time my husband is home in the evenings they have closed! So 1 week later I still have an incomplete bed! Never again will I go to Benson’s now, I have lost all faith and very dissatisfied with the customer service we agency received since and now stuck with a half complete bed and possibly damaged mattress now.

WARNING!!!!! Dont Buy anything from Benson for Beds, they Will sell you low quality beds for high prices and have no customer service they want to rip you off !! Just do you investigation online

Worst company ever bought a wardrobe from them with an instruction manual that cannot be followed properly as there is only pictures and writing that is in french that I do not understand. After this I followed the instruction carefullly and when finally everything was coming together the whole wardrobe fell on top of me as the screws do not fit in the holes properly. And the worst customer service as they lie by saying that by following pictures you can build a wardrobe. Let’s hope that I can get a refund as I feel like I have been scammed

Wish I could give minus stars what a joke ordered a new bed after 13 years of old one and gave them a month for a delivery date got a call day before saying no bed coming and wont get till may hiding behind a customer confidential lie talk through the ass holes having to sleep on floor they are now saying half of my bed will come in another month and the other half in two months I will personally break in there warehouse myslef and take it not sleeping on the floor especially when sleep is important during my gcse period and they can’t be bothered to pick up a phone most times but lovely help from those in store don’t order a bed or anything SAVE YOURSELVES AVOID AT ALL COST SLEEP IN A BIN IF YOU MUST AS IT WILL COME QUICKER THAN THERE BEDS

I do not recommend. Been trying to resolve an issue since July last year!!!!!!! 60-90 minute wait to connect through to someone in their customer services department. Even if I select the option to be called back, I do not receive a call back. Emails have never been replied to! I work 8am-6pm, never able to call on my breaks due to the waiting time.
