“Often, reading through "textbook" material is dry and labourious. The online BOATsmart course made it so easy. Not only can you read the course material, but video clips are provided for the visual learner. Learning made simple. The quizzes at the end of each chapter helped provide a foundation for the final test. Well worth taking the course through BOATsmart!!!”

“This is a thorough course that prepares you completely for the government exam. My only complaint is that some topics are covered more than once and this makes studying longer....and it is long as it is.”

“Good pace. Well presented. Made my notes as I went along. Only repeated module 4 twice. Quizzes prepared me well for the final.”

“Way to much to retain in between quizes! I spent in and around 15 hrs taking notes, I failed quiz 2, I did well at college and found this quite challenging. Definitely more difficult that writing g1 drivers licence.”

“Ive given it 5 stars but its not that it made me happy. I have boated (small fishing boats 5-100hp) since the 1960's. I always thought the new boat licence was a tax grab and refused to get one. I didn't learn anything new, although it has taken me many years to learn all of these things. I gave it the 5 stars because I feel that it is a good start to know these basic laws and regulations before you start boating. It is long and tedious....plus our internet server went down twice during the final exam which was extremely frustrating, but in the end it is worth it.”

“It was a very thorough course, HOWEVER how does one learn when the Module test gives you a mark, but does not tell you which questions you got wrong & include the incorrect answer. This truly does not make sense to me.”

“It's about time boat smart made it so you actually have to go through modules personally , too many people out there that had the test taken for them and have no idea what the rules of boating are.”
