“Well, I would like to be able to find out what questions I had wrong. And the metric ( meter and metre ) spelling you have wrong in MANY places. This is not the USA !”

“I felt the length of time for each module was too long and when you did the test after each module you were not advised which of the questions were answered wrong. There also way too much time allowed to write the test. I learned a lot a lot.”

“Modules were broken down into too short of lessons which increased clicking and "shock" at the length of the modules; such as Module 2 with 50+ lessons. The narrator was far too monotone and boring to listen to over the entire course. Other than that the information was good, the animations were helpful and I learned quite a bit. Some tips: 1. Time the required page view time to the length of the corresponding video. This would reduce the video repeating and being forced to watch the first 5-10 seconds again. 2. Remove auto repeat on the videos.”

“Some of the timed video's would end before the timer. Some played twice before the timer was completed. Love the fact that you can save and come back. There should also be a warning that should you fail a quiz, you must review all the videos in the module. I learnt the hard way and would have paid more attention to the quiz portion.”

“Boatsmart made me happy because I was able to be educated in under one day. Downside was how it said it was free and then told me had to pay 30 dollars at the end. This website seems like it's just trying to take ur time and money like every other similar site. It's pretty stupid that you have to pay to be educated on boating when all u need is common sense.”

“Simple well laid out information but the timer or each module so sooooooo annoying. I like to sit and read through everything at once, I ended up turning on the TV or reading something else while the clock counted down. It made for horrible continuity and immersion learning and ended up taking twice as long then it should have.”

“Great way to get your license however it makes you spend too long on each section... If you can read at even an average pace you are left waiting to be allowed to move on to the next section. I would have been done in half the time if not for the lengthily time requirements for each page.”

“Happy to know I knew most of this information already. Not happy how long it took because of the timer, and there was no way to "fast forward" through info that didn't require review. Also, many of the questions were redundant and duplicates. Not enough emphasis on right of way for small craft such as kayaks, paddleboards, etc.”

“Very easy to follow, lots of time to listen/read the material. But you should warn people how long it will take to do the whole thing. Also, that you have to do a government test after that. I spent all afternoon and evening doing it. Endless......”
