The videos were helpful although the last 2 sections just had mostly black screens while the lesson was going.

It help to a point but on the quiz it would be nice if after you summit they give you the correct answer to help you thru the course and if you needed to retake

No a real pleasant experience. The software was less than modern. Each module would keep repeating and the timer did not match the slides. May slides were over and there was 10-15 seconds before you could move to the next slide.

Good information, I think I learned quite a bit. An opportunity for improvement would be a more streamlined training process. It was very time consuming, and a lot of information I didn't feel was relevant.

Informative, but extremely slow took 3 nights not 3 hours as posted page 36 lesson 7 vhf channel says length of of water that joins two areas of water this is not correct .vhf channels a radio frequency channel. Some parts to do with the test not clear

The exam is hard to do and does take some time to do it, Seven hours alone just doing the Modules. plus two days reading the book..

clunky. too many modules and required me to press continue every time the segment ended. if often took more than one try to click continue. this might sound minor, but with all the material, it was very annoying and a time waster.

Pretty good program, but I had a few issues. One very annoying thing while studying the material is the required time necessary for each page, as often it is too long, up to 50 seconds in a few cases, where you are required to stay on the page even after the video is over. Another thing was that for one module I received 70% on the quiz and was then given the option to restart the module which then FORCES you to go through every video again with the time constraint which is awful when you have to then spend a whole hour doing it over again. The test also doesn't tell you which questions you got wrong so you can't figure it out for the next quiz.

The mandatory time required at each section/module is too long, I'm not a fast reader and I still had to wait to click next section. Should be able to try at least one re-test of a failed module without having to go through the whole module training. Even if you pass a test but got some questions wrong, there should be a review to correct those, to make a more informed boater

I passed first try Some great information and fairly well presented BUT 3 1/2 hours is WAY too long for the tutorial portion. While there was a lot of great additional info, it should be optional....(i.e. Want some trailering/ launching tips...Click Here). If not tied directly to the operators license, make it optional. If the tutorial could be trimmed down to just 60-90 mins, it would be far more efficient. Also, on quite a number of instances, the animation/ narration would finish and yet there would still be lots of time counting down on the clock before the next slide could be shown. I would also recommend that each slide doesn't automatically start repeating after its finished. This was very confusing at the beginning

I was able to go at my own pace, allowing me to stop if necessary and pick back up again without having to start over from the beginning. I was also happy that I could print off pages for future reference, if I thought them necessary.

Not sure it made me happy... it took more then 7 hours to do. The timer on some of the pages are to long I can read fast.

Informative , comprehensive but moved too slowly and the course was far too long for it's intended purpose ! Teaching people how to drive a boat safely should have been emphasized more Thanks

The videos were a nice touch, but some of the questions on the end of module quizzes were absolutely ridiculous and pointless towards becoming a better pleasure craft driver. For example, all the questions asking about which organizations enforce or regulate these things... pretty pointless/useless info compaired to actually important situational questions.

It made me happy because it was teaching me about information that I didn't know.

I liked it because I got my boating license but I think the test and modules were a bit too long and gave use unnecessary info on boating.

Easy to follow but should tell you what answers were incorrect on quizzes so you aren't left wondering what information you may not have understood. If you got the feedback right away on the quizzes you would likely remember the information you got wrong but was later corrected. This feedback would have been really, really helpful on the quizzes only. I can't help wondering when I'm out on the water, what mistakes I might make because I didn't get that feedback.
