“There should be a synchronized system between Bookaway and Operators. Once the operator allowed the customer to make a booking, it means the seat still available. So, you do not suppose to pending confirmation. In this case, you have to make sure that the operator must update their system to avoid pending confirmation after the customer makes the payment.”

Hi Ahmad, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and we're sorry that your booking wasn't approved as fast as we hoped it would be. We're aware that it must be frustrating to pay first and then wait for the operator to approve the booking, that's why we developed a new payment method, in which the money is held in the customer's account, but not charged unless the booking is confirmed, and that system is applied for most lines on our website. In your case specifically, our support team had to offer you an alternative option as your departure date falls on the Tet holiday in Vietnam, so once we booked the alternative for you, the amount was charged before approval due to a human error, and we're really sorry about that, however, don't worry, upon checking with the operator, your booking will be approved very soon :) Feel free to reach our support team via email or live chat if you need any assistance.

“Very fast answers from the support team! my plans changed and I had to change the departure time, they replied immediately when I contacted them via Whatsapp, a great experience, will book the rest of my trips in Vietnam with Bookaway :D”

“First sight I didn’t expect on this one online website but things surprised me as everything works very well! I used to worry when the departure time didn’t come and the support team supported me with the pick-up and change requests properly 👍 Used them few times for my Vietnam travels already!”

“Couldn't change the ticket by myself on manage my booking, the support team later explained that it's not within the policy, but they helped me change it anyway, other that that everything was OK and they replied fast.”
