This is an ok platform. Could be better, especially for the cost without insurance.

Need more appointments past 5PM, I work the normal 8-4:30 shift and when I look for a new appointment I have to go way back to find the one opening at 5PM which could be weeks out.

Lack of response, follow through is lacking. Staff Appointment cancellations then several emails stating that you aren’t in compliance.

Access to providers who can prescribe medication is great, but not much support besides that. Don't know if I will continue.

Gets the job done without in person visits

The talk therapy with Jerre I like. The medication management was not worth it because she cannot prescribe controlled substances that I already take. The management of payments is horrible. I’ve been way overcharged when I have insurance and it should have been 15.00 a time. Not 70.00. Now my HSA is denying charges because I’ve been so overcharged the fund is out. Also, a phone number for a live Brightside person for account issues is difficult to find unless you really dig for a number. Furthermore, I was charged a no show fee of 70.00 although I called, left a message and left my therapist a message that I could not make my appointment the day of my birthday because something came up. Frustrating.

Only real complaint would be ability to help support mental health related disability claims in CA. Getting in person appointments covered by insurance in timely fashions is absurdly difficult and subject to frequent cancellations and delayed appointments last minute. Was able to do so via BetterHelp in the past and was a bit surprised similar capacity could not be found here in emergency situations not requiring hospitalization. However at BetterHelp I could not get appropriate medications, which give the advantage here for that aspect certainly! Beyond that, all is great and super convenient, great professional care and services.

It’s fine but I don’t like how the pricing is not easy to determine. I have no idea how much Brightside is costing me. I can’t believe it takes this long to find out how much insurance is covering and then to bill me. I am afraid to schedule another appointment with my provider because I don’t know how much that will cost.

Billing issues detect from an otherwise good experience

You need to make sure the patient can check back in with the doctor that mean verbally have an appointment with them because the check ins are not enough

I am a couple of months in and I don’t think I have my medication dialed in properly. We are still working on that.

I give you guys a 3.5 , it’s a great app and service don’t get me wrong, but messaging and communication has been inconsistent and hard to figure out.

Overall it’s a decent service. It’s hard to find a therapist I like and it’s a chore to switch if your first pick doesn’t work out. They are also very strict about how often your therapy is. I won’t be using them anymore because I can’t afford to go as often as they want me to with my insurance.

There should be a lower priced option for the people who are only getting meds. 100 per month just to get refills called in seems excessive.
