“I was disappointed in your therapy offering as it seemed to follow a pre-set method. I wish you offered clients the ability to talk to a therapist that uses other methods. The medication service is great though!”
“It helped short-term. But, is overpriced for my needs. I already have a personal counselor. I really just needed to meet with the doctor for medication. I lost my job, and have now found another one. So, I need to cancel and stair-step down. It is one-size fits all and that should really be considered moving forward.”
“I think they are great. My doctor/psychiatrist has gone above and beyond for me and has stuck by my side through my entire journey. I would give 5 stars but Brightside did not have enough therapist for me which made me lean more on my prescriber, which she has been doing both jobs in sense and great at it.”
“The only thing that is challenging is that they don’t make it easy to submit the costs to my insurance carrier. I know they don’t want to handle insurance claims, but they could at least offer invoices so I can turn in the receipt to get reimbursed.”
“I enjoy how efficient it is to get medication but I don’t receive any other benefits from having this service and I don’t think the price is worth the “treatment””
“i think there should be some kind of discount if im not even getting to speak to the doctor once a month. i make minimum wage and i’m just trying to do what i can afford to take care of my mental health but $100 plus $15 for meds when i don’t even get to talk to a dr i just fill out a 2 second survey is kinda pricey. i just started using this service last month and i spoke to the doctor one time and she was very nice and helpful but it seems kind of unfair to pay the same amount whether i speak to her or not. $115 for a prescription refill :(”
“I’m not sure why there’s a monthly fee when the doctor hasn’t been seen again or there’s not an appointment scheduled. You then charge separately for the medication itself so seems a bit silly to be paying for doctor access and it not being used. I haven’t heard from my doctor since the initial video call.”
“It's kind of expensive per month just to pay $10 for the meds. I feel like I'm paying for the ability to pay someone else. American healthcare is jacked.”
“I don’t think the therapy portion is working for me, it’s too much emotional reflection and not enough processing and help getting through bad spots. There’s PTSD and experiences with my parents I signed up for brightside to get help with, and so far everything has been about processing feelings and how I interpret myself. I’m trying to stick with it, but I wish it was clearer that this was just for self help not getting help from outside factors.”
“Still in the wait and see mode.
The assigned MD seemed to have some difficulty with the company software, when prescribing medication.
On the positive side, the response to customer service questions has been very fast.”
