“The idea is nice, but the response times are so slow and I e been out of my anxiety med for a week because the psychiatrist upped my dose and my insurance needs prior auth which brightside doesn't do. So now I have to go back to my doctor so I can get it refilled. Going on week 2 and I'm miserable. So it's kind of a joke”
“There is no Theraphy which was not told to me and you have to pay every month just to get them to release your script. I understand business. However this is not ok. If my “dr” actually listened to me that would be one thing.”
“Im stuck and I don’t feel like the medication is helping in all aspects of care. Frustrated at the moment and might leave the service soon when I find a provider.”
“I don’t feel like this is worth the amount of money it costs just to have a prescription written, the provider doesn’t really check in. You just pay 100$ to have a prescription sent to a pharmacy that will charge you 30$ to have it filled it’s all really frustrating and feels like a waste of money. If you’re looking for a way to spend money on something that doesn’t make a huge difference weather you get the script written in your doctors office or not here it is!”
“Although I have spoken to a representative and they were kind, I still am unable to make appointments with my doctor due to a glitch in the system . It hasn’t been fixed and hasn’t been followed up on. Also I found it extremely difficult to alter an appointment that has been made. The last time I spoke with the therapist I will end up paying over 4 dollars a minute and we discussed the problems with Brightside patient care for 15 minutes. I’m quickly losing hope in this system…and it’s too expensive.”
“Poor (would rate ‘needs improvement’ as poor is a bit harsh and not exactly accurate) only relates to the lack of response to the two questions I posed to the care provider online. Neither was answered or acknowledged. Not sure if he received them and seems there is no way telling on the site. Very frustrating.”
“I was very happy in the beginning. After i discovered that my insurance can't cover the cost because they reimbursed per meeting and they can't reimbursed a monthly fee. But i have decided to continue because i really need to invest in myself right now but now i have been stucked to level 4 with the exercices and my therapist left. So it's been basically 3 weeks without therapy so i am basically paying for nothing right now.”
“My provider was very nice and wanted to help but she said she did not have the ability to prescribe gabapentin for anxiety, which is what Brightside advertises for the condition.”
“I no longer want the service! Please no more billing or fish oil prescription! I didn’t agree to this anyway. I am not mad or disappointed just can’t afford this service! I wish you all the best in 2022”
“I have been going to psychiatrists with my husband for over 20 years and he has a really good one, that works with him on his care and explains everything to him. For instance, my psychiatrist did a bipolar test on me. Having lived with a bipolar spouse for 20 years, this was offensive to me. When I spoke with my husbands psychiatrist, he explained to me why she would be looking in that direction based off of the meds that haven't worked and that she is just checking things off her list and not to take that personally. It would have been nice to hear that from her, rather than feeling like my psychiatrist has the total wrong idea about me.”
“I had one conversation with the Provider. I was prescribed medication. I fill out surveys, but really what for? No one has spoken to me in over a month. I had the impression this was more interactive. It took 10 days for medication to arrive by mail when I asked for it to be sent to a pharmacy.”
