“This is a poor experience all around. Zero guidance. I can't get in touch with someone for simple prescription needs. The website is not intuitive and it does not provide me with the straight forward process I need, which again is simple, just medication without lapse. I'm also getting a variety of bills at different rates and there is not breakdown of what any of it is for.”
“Brightside has actually worsened my mental health. I take it very personally when my therapist doesn’t show up for our appointments and now she has only showed up 1 time out of three. This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.”
“Communication n connection is a huge issue, I’m down to 3 pills and haven’t received a way to reschedule my missed appointment that was missed due to connectivity issues, u mean the assigned dr. can’t take 5 seconds to call n see if there is a problem? $94 a month for this is awful”
“You are not using my insurance to pay for my treatment. Please contact me to let me know why? If my insurance is not working for you I will have to stop using you.”
“I think the psychiatrists working with Brightside might have too much going on because there is little to no follow-through and communication after the first meeting. I realized I was running low on my medication and reached out to my provider because I didn't see any refills with my pharmacy. I am new to taking medication so I don't know how it normally works but I assumed that my care provider would reach out to see how I was doing on it, if I wanted to continue care, and how I was doing with the side effects I expressed concern about, etc.; but it was left up to me to reach out when I was running low and request more. In order to request more I had to fill out a survey that said I felt my care was "off-track" even though I didn't feel my care was off-track, I just needed a refill.”
“People who work there do not know anything about service they provide. Avoid! Go elsewhere! Research your providers elsewhere and read bio and know how much you pay avoid this garbage”
“Is Brightside going to treat me? I requested a med review 5/19/22 and Lissa Goldstein declined to treat me. Im told NOTHING can be done until a supervisor investigates me. Its been 1 week. When will someone tell me if Brightside is refusing to see me or give me a new Provider? I dont know what to do anymore”
“Weekly check ins are based on an algorithm, and I don’t think it’s working as it would with an actual person. Doctor took a week to answer an adverse event reporting and didn’t even give an actual answer or recommendation, just that she thought she had answered. Therapist is very sweet but gives generic advice. Feels a lot like a cash machine but nothing serious behind it.”
“Brightside wasn't clear from the beginning about the length of each session. I'm also being charged a full copay of $50 for half the amount of time that I should be given? I've had three visits thus far + spent the last one talking about techinical issues. I feel frustrated because I'm being charged over the amount I was promised and I'm also not getting anything accomplished.”
