“Mistakenly ordered two extractor fans. Customer services were so helpful and told me just to refuse delivery of one extractor fan and it would be returned to them and refunded to me. I also received an email from them telling me to do this. Since I sent back the extractor fan I have heard nothing from buy it direct. I sent an emessage informing them I had returned the fan (as they asked me to do). I have since sent 4 more messages and tried phone and requesting a call back. No reply to any of my messages.
Previously when contacting them they would reply straight away. I have received no refund now and that was 27th of May. I am so disappointed by the service. Unfortunately I had another larger order to place but do not feel confident to place now until I have a reply from them!”
“I've ordered/received 3 products with buy it direct Ireland over the past year now including during the lock down (we had to replace our fridge freezer). Have been satisfied with everything including delivery times. It always feels slightly risky purchasing online to me but so far, thankfully I haven't experienced any of the problems that I'm reading here as I go down through the reviews.”

“Ordered a phone and after hearing nothing for 2 weeks I emailed them about the delay. They reordered the phone to sort the problem and again nothing came in the post so after a total of 7 weeks since I bought it and numerous emails back and forth (takes roughly a week for a completely different person to respond to my emails) I'm still waiting on the refund that I asked for. I really regret buying from this company.”

“Purchased a sideboard from Furniture123/ Buy it Direct - big mistake!!! 1 star given is for the quality of the goods supplied. Unfortunately on arrival parts were missing / damaged and that is where the problems started. Replacement parts were issued however excess large parts were also issued. In addition and on 4 separate occasions I received duplicate parts instead of missing parts. Eventually I gave up and requested a refund. More than 2mths on I am still out of pocket by £50. 2+ months of emails which are frustrating as each incoming message is inconsistent with the previous. Argggg!!!!”

Tried to contact buyitdirect to get my correct micriwave but have had no contact from them. Very very disappointed with the customer service and total lack of contact from the company. If you're lucky to get what you want you're fine but if theres a mistake or damage, good luck getting any response 😣”
“Delivery took 3 weeks. However when we took the oven out of the packaging (which was undamaged) and the oven was bent from being dropped from a height, we immediately sent them multiple photos and it took them a full week to agree to replace it and collect the damaged oven. 3 weeks later (7 weeks from order) after they didn't arrive when they said they would, an oven arrived and their courier refused to take the damaged one. Then the next 2 scheduled collections they didn't turn up. Now 9 weeks after order Buyitdirect are completely unhelpful telling us it is our responsibility and they are going to charge us for the second oven (Tendai told me this). They also refuse to collect our old old oven as WEE. You may be lucky but if anything goes wrong they are unhelpful, obstructive and couldn't care less.”
