Haven’t bought anything and never will. I looked at a four burner barbecue which was €350, when I went back to buy it it was 370, then it increased daily and is now 450, yet a six burner similar is cheaper at 430. It is obvious that an algorithm is pushing the price up every time you look at it or something very odd is going on with a product that increases €100 in the space of a week. I did engage with the company’s live chat feature, there response was “yes the prices change daily”

it worked fine for 8 washes and now just keeps running and letting in water. I registered the guarantee on the day it arrived, but can get no person to contact me about sorting this problem.

The returns procedure is a complete nightmare.
The Customers Service team are nice, but they only respond once every 48 hours, so arranging a return can be easily dragged over weeks & potentially months.
I had purchased a Macbook Pro 16" for €2,550 - the €150 saving compared to buying it directly from Apple website certainly wasn't worth it. Avoid.
If you do decide to risk it, don't bother paying extra for the express delivery - it arrived two days after it was due, which is the same as standard post.”

“Don't waste time paying for their "5-=point monitor check" - they still sent me a monitor with a dead pixel and 10 days laters they are trying to fob off with £30 partial discount on a £650 monitor. The law is unambiguous, I am entitled to a full refund but they are clearly trying to dodge that.”
“I place an order of €600 on the 22/4 and I have paid for express delivery, on the 24 I got in touch with them after i don’t know how many times I have tried and that only on the email, there’s now chance you’ll speak with them on the phone as the time of waiting is 120 min every time you try to call them. Today same story but from another guy Muhammad who is telling me that the item is with another delivery company and that they will contact me in the next 24h to establish the delivery, I mean wtf need to be established more than this? Also the links that they provided are not working and nobody is getting in touch... so I’m assuming that all this is a huge scam. But I will make sure everyone knows about buy it direct Ireland and who this people are. I’ll also get in touch with a solicitor because this type of services providers should be out there to lie to people and take their money and don’t send the items to them!”
“Terrible company...... take your money in the middle of a pandemic because you needed a freezer to help feed your elderly mum and we’re having to look after your sick husband!!!! They charge well over the asking price, then when it’s due to be delivered they forget to email you the time. When you contact them they tell you your delivery isn’t due for another 5 weeks.... disgusting!!!”

Fraudulent company.
I bought about one hundred power supplies 750 Watts EVGA Gold from Buy It Direct. 3 years have passed, seria numbers of them still unconfirmed with Buy It Direct which stops my warranty process. The EVGA manufacturer is telling me only to speak with the place of purchase if goods were not bought directly from them. Currently I have like 20 emails correspondence with whoever is responsible from Buy It Direct. Customer service is not helping me with this problem. They redirect me to main manager and tells me she should reply by the end of today which is not happening. I have asked for this serial numbers like 5 times already. Right now I am sick of this and will be starting court process against this company because they have sold me the product which does not match my purchase.”

Got bounced around from customer service agent to customer service agent telling me the same thing that it is on its way but never actually had the issue resolved. They just kept telling me to wait. Contact attempts then became essentially ignored. Very bad customer service and they use an even worse courier service. Great item though! Very happy once it FINALLY arrived.”
“Simply the worst. I'm trying to buy a tablet online, the payment went well, but they insist that it didn't. I have contacted my bank, which says that the payment went through; however, they insist for a confirmation code. My bank asked me to put them in contact, but they're refusing to talk to my bank. I have now wasted almost an entire day to deal with the purchase, ridiculous!”
