If you put more pictures of the items you sell on your website I would not have bought this product as I would have been able to see it would not fit my tripod instead of guessing

I'm afraid they didn't - my problem is that I've bought a Sony RX100M4 only to find it doesn't have an external mic port - which is crazy for such a quality camera. I called Calumet hoping to have a better suggestion presented to me, but the only thing I got was that I was told if I returned the camera there would be a 10% restocking charge. And that was after the customer service woman told me she didn't know what to say to me, so was passing my enquiry to the store. The manager told me he'd email the area manager, but I've not heard another word. Disappointing.

Usually I have experienced excellent service at Calumet. I try to support it by shopping there because I know how difficult retail outlets have to compete with online shopping. I selected 2 packages from the shelves of Epsom inks for my printer and tried to pay for them. I was then informed that I could not buy them because of some ordering system. I don't appreciate travelling 30 minutes in heavy traffic, selecting goods and waiting half an hour whilst staf f made calls/ in house discussions etc. Whilst polite I felt let down as I think I have been a good customer and deserved better service.

I ordered film to be collected in Wardour Street but they had not received notification of my order, yet gave it to me after looking up my account details. I also bought a new picture stand. I then received the film order delivered to me and returned it to Wardour Street. Mike McGrath.

I ordered 3 pro-packs of film. Whilst I can't fault the next-delivery service, the misuse of packaging is abhorrent. The film arrived in two separate boxes, each stuffed with plastic packing. I think I'll try to buy film in-store, until you review your packaging practices.

When I called calumets sales department to find out if an item was in stock and that I could reserve it and the first part of process went smoothly. Unfortunately not at shop level, which was highly unorganised.

I was a little disappointed as I came into the shop particularly to get some advice or at least to fill in some holes in my understanding of the effect on the lens I wanted of full sized and APS-C sensors. While I bought the lens, which I will pair with a 5D Mark III, I came away no wiser than when I went in. Possibly I did not explain what information I was looking for accurately enough.

From today experience, To be honest felt like staff who served me had brief product understanding and knowledge. e.g. power source for the product as well as its capability. Kind of a good job I knew what I was looking for.

Calumet didn't make me very happy. Delivery took longer than I'd expected & came when I wasn't in so I had to rearrange delivery with Fedex for three days later. Calumet didn't have stock of one item I ordered & have given no indication a week later when I'm likely to expect delivery - probably when I'm away again.

Ryan was good in helping me with my order and customer service was great. However apon picking up my rental the camera I received wasn't the one I ordered, the memory card given was too small so couldn't work properly, only one battery worked and the camera stopped working for a total of 1.5 days. As this is my profession It impacted my work load massivly. I will not be using your service again.

I've had really great answers and help from a couple of Calumet staff, and I've also had people avoid answering my questions, saying they'll come back to me, and not, because of not knowing the answer, sadly.

I have bought from Calumet previously (Photographic Show NEC) and as they are fairly local I decided to purchase a couple of lenses from their Manchester store. One lens had to be brought from another of their stores and I collected after a phone call to confirm my order was ready for collection. However I was made to feel like I was a potential thief, staff appeared to be extremely suspicious of my presence in the store and were reluctant to let me view the lenses before I had paid for them. This put paid to me making further purchases, I am sure they are aware competition is extremely competitive especially with the use of the Internet, it was only due to time limitations that I had to purchase from this store. Due to my recent experience I will only use Calumet as a last resort. Michael J Pearson.

Customer service is very good, my only complain is about the lack of products. You have a huge shop but looks empty, almost everything excluding bags, tripods and small thing have to be ordered. I keep wondering when Calumet with have a decent shop with a great stock of cameras, lenses and everything else in London. I'm not asking you to be as amazing as B&H in NY, but if you cold be half of it, would be great. Joas Souza

Product arrived as described in a timely fasion. However, I had to provide a copy of photo id and utility bill as there was a problem confirming my address. I have shopped off many online retaliers and never had this happened to me. On getting this sorted, the package was then delivered to a house roughly 10 miles away from my own. It was not left with a person, simply left at the house, I was very lucky that 1)It was not raining and 2)That the person was kind enough to meet me and give me the parcel. Had I have been not so lucky, said person could have kept the pricely equipment. Very dissappointed with this delivery service. The negative aspects of this review are more concerned with how FedEx delivered the real parcel, but if I was calumet I would be looking for a new better courier. Calumet's service was average to good!
