Your staff can have quite a dismissive attitude. On a few occasions now, I have been left with uninformed information, incorrect parts with items missing or ill advised. I believe it is for your staff to know the equipment available and how it should come with accessories. 3 times now I have been sold items that have then left me on a shoot unable to work them, due to a lack of extras that should be with them I believe, or at least advised on when asked. On the most recent purchase from Calumet. I was left debating with one of your employees on items they said that they had never come across in 25years; as if I had no idea what I was talking about. On further enquiries with another one of the employees due to my stubbornness, the item was discovered in within 3 minutes..... It went to show a certain unhelpful attitude that I have come across several times. I am a professional photographer of 20years, but I am not a technician. I belive the staff should be a bit more gracious and helpful, or a simple "I am not sure, but I can ask some one" would be more than acceptable.

Usually has what I need in stock, or can be delivered from another store quickly, offers 0% interest on large purchases to aid cashflow. One issue I think needs to be addressed, I was in the Drummond Street showroom the other day, I wanted to buy some batteries, a quick purchase. However, all the sales staff were busy with people wishing to buy cameras and obviously, this takes time. Hence a fifteen minute wait to be served. Is it worth having a member of staff available at all times for quick sales when others are taken up with the larger sales that cant be rushed.

Your customer service is so unpredictable. Sometimes it's really good, other times its so bad (rude, unhelpful, as if customers are an inconvenience) it makes you want to give up on the shop altogether. Clearly something is not working when it comes to your hiring and firing.

The Speedlight Flash, Remote Release and camera batteries were all satisfactory. Being asked by you that I should email photo ID and a utility Bill prior to sending my order, sounded frankly, like an email scam, particularly as this order for camera equipment totalled only £330, which I'm sure you will agree, is rather small scale value. I don't feel that emailing photo ID is a safe practice.

The item I ordered arrived promptly the next day, but it wasn't what I thought it would be, I thought I would return the item, I filled in a form, but never received and viable information. I.e returns number or anything else. If I ever buy again I will be very careful next time. I still have the item. It was cheap . I'm glad it wasn't expensive.

The item received was, as stated, in a pristine condition for a used item and it provided a very good saving over a brand new one. It was dispatched very quickly and thus arrived rather unexpectedly, it was fortunate that I was in when delivery occurred. It is the online customer account status not being updated as to the order's progress that lets down what would have been marked as a very good service, I was unaware it had already been dispatched. It is this aspect that rather sours the whole experience as it rather time wasting to keep checking something that is expected to provide one of the order's progression when it is neglected and fails to do so.

They got the camera I needed in stock. They didn't recognise me from my visit a couple of weeks earlier. They didn't stress the importance of not buying a grey import and saving money. They provided no additional information re back up. I paid considerably more for buying my camera through an agent but felt no wiser when I left Calumet as to what I got for my money.

problem on lens no. 3745004159 has not been solved. my daughter will be in london next week and will take it into wardour street but does not have receipt on her.

The large format printer arrived within 24 hours... 15 days later and I am still waiting for the ink for it! Luckily it came with some supplies but these have now run out...

I ordered a Manfrotto tripod head and heard nothing for several days. Had to chase Calumet for information which was frustrating . Later found that the delivery company had "lost" my parcel which I don't blame Calumet for, but I found that getting a response from them to my emails was very slow.

I attended a suppliers open day where i was introduced to new company who i had not considered before. Saved some money and placed a fairly large order. However your rating is only acceptable as i still have not received the final part of the order - a speed ring for bowens soft box to phottix indra 500 unit. When will this arrive and what are you planning compensate my wait with? Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Hi I recently bought a nearly new camera body from you . It was in London and was supposed to be sent the next day it arrived the day after that disappointment! I am very happy now I have the camera -it was as described in mint condition and now I am look forward to using it more

Took me a couple of visits to find a salesperson who was well informed. Even though the salesperson on second visit did know what they were talking about it was a shame that they left the electronic tag on the tripod as I had to return to the store to get it removed which was inconvenient.

I went to Calumet looking for a budget LED video light, the salesman took me to a model costing £299. When I explained that it was outside my budget and asked whether there was an cheaper alternative he told me that there wasn't. However when I went to pay for another purchase I spotted another LED Video light of the same size behind the counter, this light cost about £79, a considerable difference. When I examined it, it was ideal for my purposes and I bought it. Unfortunately the salesman was not helpful and seemed to want me to buy something outside my budget. Not Impressed to be honest.
