“First time physically shopping instore. Previously have purchased online. The store seems a little unusual in its layout (compared with what I'm used to) with a main central service area and other areas spread around it and low shelves in between. Service was reasonably quick and the staff were knowledgable.”

“I use Calumet for perhaps half the photographic gear I buy, usually the Bristol branch, but occasionally London branches too. The service is efficient and friendly and although I'm usually clear on what I want when I walk in the staff are knowledgable and enthusiastic. Only downside is that they don't have more specialist items in stock to take away at Bristol but as they can get them there in a couple of days that's only a problem in an emergency.”

“The staff are always very helpful, very patient and very knowledgeable. They will always discuss and advise on items or questions that I have, even if I am not purchasing anything. excellent place to shop or browse.”

“Best showroom in the UK for looking at Pro gear and prices usually very fair. Nice to talk to experienced staff also on the fast changing industry. Been popping in for last 16 years, hopefully another 16 to follow at least! AP - London”

“Very helpful staff, extremely knowledgable. Canon charger did not work, but was given an immediate refund. Bought a very expensive real Canon charger from Canon at 5 times the price of the Calumet cost.”

“I ordered a case and was left hanging on its deliver status for 3 months when I contacted Calumet the girl just said well youll have to wait !!!!! A pro in need of a case cant wait for a case so Ive gone elsewhere Would think twice on returning Not a happy customer”

“Though I was informed of back orders when placing my on-line order I didn't expect it to come in 5 different consignments which must have cost you, two of which arrived on the same day and one one more the next. I assume you don't hold any stock! After 3 weeks and still waiting for 2 items I had to phone you up only to be told that these were still not in stock, so I arranged to have an alternative which arrived next day. great but still one thing missing after 4 weeks and I had to phone you again but to cancel this time. My question is, why should I be chasing you after spending over £1000.00 with you. If I took that long to supply my customers and didn't communicate with them I would have been out of business years ago. You asked! regards Mike 07889 765836”

“I really like purchasing my photographic equipment at Calumet. Despite the glut of online stores, I have found Calumet's prices to be comparable to any online "shopless" retailer, and I really appreciate having such a large selection of things in stock and visible to pick up, examine, and handle. The staff are also all very knowledgeable and very friendly, which makes for a very satisfactory experience, and the Euston Calumet store is very large, spacious, orderly, and inspiring to visit as well. Also, and very importantly, there is free (albeit limited in number) parking areas adjacent to the store. I would not hesitate to recommend Calumet for all professional and amateur photographic purchases to anyone. I certainly return time and time again. Many thanks to the Calumet staff!! Adam Butler”
