Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Impressed with the quality of Calumet's own products but out of stock of a few items so didn't manage to spend as much as I intended!

Great service from the online store and it was delivered to a actual store and they were great too!

Attention to my order was first rate. Certain items are outstanding through no fault of Calumet and I fully expect to be informed as soon as various suppliers have sent items to Calumet.

Fast, friendly and efficient. Any order I place with Calumet arrives in good time, usually first thing next morning. If I need more info about a particular item, a quick phone call before I place the order is all it takes.

I went to the open day at calumet and was rather looking forward to it. Bought some stuff and pre ordered a lens. They havent pre ordered me the lens it seems and the stuff i was sold i think was more of a pressure purchase on the day. The stuff i purchased wasnt Calumets issue though it was more the other salesmen there. Would still have liked to get the lens though.

Speedlight Flash - Freezing The Action Course delivery and material coverd was excellent. Preparation of 'seminar' room and lunch arrangements were less good. Course advertised as being from 09.30 to 16.00 but I was told on arrival it was 10.00 to 16.00. This could have been mentioned in the email I receveived the day before. The seminar/course content was very good but the Calumet FAQs in response to the question "What equipment do I need to bring?" says "We suggest bringing a DSLR camera to all of our courses to get the most out of your learning. " this was not required for this course as the set up required for individual practice was not possible due to the space provided by Calumet. In conclusion the course as delivered by Andy Astbury was excellent, the arrangements of the course could have been better. The title said it all and the method was covered in detail. I will be looking out for more of Andy's courses. Ian Shere

I deal mostly with my local store here in Glasgow. The staff are always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The thing about visiting Calumet is the wealth of experience and advice offered by the staff. It is not the first time I have gone in with a specific purchase in mind and after discussing my requirements with the sales team I have been recommend an alternative which was more fit for purpose. I enjoy my visits to Calumet and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to business associates, friends and family. Cameron McMurdo Cameron's photography.

Ted Higgins – 5 star - Just back in the door and straight onto this, Calumet, Glasgow. I went in for a look around and to my surprise and pleasure I was left to browse unhindered by any of the staff, (I find that so annoying when you get targeted as soon as you enter somewhere), couple of laps round the shop and stopped at Nikon (fav stuff), looked for 5mins then approached by Alex Pirie, I explained my needs / wants and to my surprise I wasn't coerced into an unwanted purchase, but I was given, honest and fair advice from an obviously knowledgable source. So down to the nitty gritty, (1) Yeah I bought another lens and a bag for in my bag :-), to be fair though they were going to order it in to see if I liked it. But due to the above I was buying anyway (2) Will I use again. Yes, simply because it's like buying online (no annoying staff) but with the ability to see, feel and get advised properly as to your purchase by un annoying staff < that right there is the clincher, so to round it off many thanks to Alex and the rest of the Staff at Calumet Glasgow for keeping my day off relaxed :-)

Needed a quality video tripod and head and as a previous customer of Calumet initialy went to look at a Manfrotto product which they had on offer. The Calumet own brand equivalent was on display and seemed well made and at a good price (including a 30% discount available on the day) I ordered the items (not in stock) and they arrived as promised at the warehouse for me to uplift. So far I am very pleased with the product and as always the Calumet staff were well informed and pleasant to deal with. In these days of online retailing and badly trained high street sales staff it's great to get expertise and good service from Calumet.

I am aproaching retirement age and decided to take up photography as a hobby. As I know absolutely nothing other than how to point and press it was very refreshing to speak to someone as helpful and understanding, not just a salesman.

Good, reliable, unbiased advice. The assistant who helped me was well-informed, engaging and not at all pushy. I got what I wanted with the advice I needed - what more can be said? Knocks spots off some of the other competitors on the high street.

I ordered a Canon G7X from Calumet as the camera was in short supply at launch and Calumet had stock. I'd also used the shops in the past. Although delivery was quite fast I was disappointed to find that, on opening the box, that the camera was missing. To be fair it was resolved quickly by the sales support team, but I had to make a special journey to one of the London shops to pick up my missing camera. I got a half-hearted apology, but no compensation for having to go out of my way to resolve the matter. I think this falls short of the high standards I'd expect from Calumet, especially for an issue that should never arise if the right processes are in place. Would I buy from Calumet again? In person, probably, but never by mail order.
