“This thing is JOKE!I was driving my car all my life and in some reason Carfax was showing car was totaled....Of course you CAN'T SEE officially reviews about carfax because probably have ZERO STARS.They screwing peoples life's....”

“I WAS ALL SET TO BUY A BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN ( EXTERIOR & INTERIOR ) USED, BUT MODERN LOOKING MERCEDES. BUT AFTER CHECKING THE CAR FAX, TO MY CHAGRIN, I WOULD BE THE 6TH OWNER FROM A VEHICLE THAT WAS FROM OUT OF STATE FROM A DISASTER AREA. NO DEAL! EVENTUALLY FOUND A NEWER VEHICLE FROM MY STATE WITH 1 OWNER AND NO ACCIDENTS; WE MADE THE DEAL, THANKS TO CAR-FAX.”

“Looking to purchase an older Chevy Tahoe. Found one with low mileage for its age (~130k miles) and was about to purchase from a used car dealer who didn’t provide the CARFAX. Decided to run it myself and lo and behold it actually had closer to 230k miles as there was a mileage inconsistency that the dealer neglected to tell me about! I walked away immediately as they were selling it as a 130k mile car based on the price. CARFAX saved me a big headache! Ended up finding another one a couple weeks later that was a one owner 85k vehicle!”

“I was about to buy a car that seemed to good to be true. It was priced way below market value. The seller assured me that it had never been in an accident. When I ran the carfax it turned out that the car had been almost totaled and rebuilt. The seller only had the vehicle for a month. Obviously he was selling it after such short a time because it had some seriously expensive issues. If it was not for carfax I would have purchased this vehicle and I would have spent thousands of dollars fixing all of the issues that it had.”

“I was looking for Toyota Landcruiser for about a year. I wanted one with no wrecks,low mileage, and only one owner. I used CARFAX to find the exact vehicle I was in search of. Sure enough, I found one and bought it with because the CARFAX data was on point.”

“The sales person was excellent no pressure. I told him what I wanted to do and then picked out what I wanted to see. I looked and chose the one I wanted. The closing went very fast no delays and that’s the way it should be. I will definitely use CarMax for my next car thanks to all that was involved.”

“I was looking to buy a used E-Class and one came up very locally at a price almost too good to be true. Another "car report" company came back that this was an amazing buy with no commercial use and accident free. Luckily I ran a CARFAX - the car was in fact used as a fleet vehicle and had been involved in a front-end collision. Phew! Dodged a bullet. Thanks goodnees I did! The next day I found THE perfect one for me. Thanks, CARFAX!”
