“Very easy to use amd sign up and the way the car fax report is laid out it makes it really easy to find what your looking for. It is a little bit on the pricey side tho maybe you should have more payment plans yo choose from rather than that 5 stars.”

“Well, i bought a car showing a clean car fax report, no accident no problems at all, all the miles reasonably done, but then it came out that the engine was a junk's one!!! I am so disappointed about that.”

“After searching for months for the right car, we finally thought that we found one, but after running a Carfax we discovered that the vehicle had the wrong mileage disclosed. Carfax saved us from a lot of headache. We decided to get the unlimited Carfax package since it was so helpful and discovered countless issues on several cars that we were looking at from emission control failure, to flood damage, to severe maintenance issues that we were able to avoid all due to Carfax. We now recommend Carfax to all of of family and friends interested in purchasing a vehicle. We will never buy a car without running a Carfax again. No one thinks it will happen to them. You could end up spending lots of money, wasting time and end up with someone else's problems. We were hesitant about spending the money on a Carfax report but Carfax helped us avoid those issues, which was more than worth it to us.”

“Carfax is really a must have if you are buying a high end luxury sports vehicle! I was searching for a particular car and after looking and doing research for several months I realized a car HISTORY would be most valuable in my assessment process as I was doing a nationwide search for a vehicle that was a very limited production (approximately 400 per year over the 3 year production span I was considering) With the help of car fax I found it easy to dismiss some cars out of hand due to their history. This enabled me to whittle down the selection to just a few cars which I then paid dealers to inspect. Bottom line I got a very rare Mercedes CL55 amg Designo mocha black (so far one of only 3 known to exist) and with the carfax info I felt very confident that this new purchase will be great based on the reported service history and guaranteed buy back protection offered. Thanks a lot!”

“This was so helpful! I narrowed down my car search to 4 Chevy Aveos that I found on Craigs List and called each seller. The seller who owned the yellow Ave told me that it was a clean title. When I ran a CarFax report on it, I found out that it was salvaged, and had more owners than they told me. It was a lemon car... literally. So happy I used CarFax and avoided the lemon.”

“I lost my car from flooding and back shopping for a car again. CARFAX helped go through many different used cars to find if any of the cars I was looking at to buy had a bad car history and a lot of them did, from accidents to recalls. I looked at a Chevy Malibu at a dealership looked up the CARFAX and found out the car was involved in three accidents. CARFAX saved me from making a bad purchase decision. J. Vann”

“I have used car fax on several occasions. I used it when reviewing vehicles for my car a few years ago and then my son just turned 16 and we were looking for a car for him. I purchased the car fax for three vehicles and we were able to get him a great care with no major problems.”

“I had to but a car for my daughter over the last few days. I used Carfax directly on a couple of cars, and indirectly (paid by the dealer) on others. The car we bought had two owners (a four year lease and one more for eighteen months), had been regularly serviced, had a small rear-end accident but was back on the road in a couple of days, and had just got into the dealer the night before we found it. Other cars had not so good stories to tell. CarFax gave me the confidence to get this car that we liked, knowing where it has been and how it was treated.”

“I paid for one CARFAX report. That's all I wanted. I have received an outrageous number of solicitations and emails since then. I am sick of CARFAX. Leave me alone, I will contact you when I want to use your services again. Because of the solicitation, that will be never. Leave me the f*** alone. I have opted out of your services already. “ITS Very Important to have before buying a vehicle its awesome I used carfax to check records and I used for my friend he always going to work shop to repair he recently buyed used van on his van mileage it say 75kmiles but its not I checked on carfax its 175kmiles he buyed van without carfax now he is in garage always so use carfax was great”

“I recently sold my 1994 Acura Legend within hours after putting it up for sale. Although 20+ years old the car was in excellent condition and I priced it accordingly. The buyer was naturally very cautious and had lots of questions. When I showed him the CarFax and provided details on the maintenance history, he recognized the value and made an offer above what I'd anticipated. A win-win all around thanks to CarFax.”

“I was shopping for a used car for my son who was graduating from high school. He will need a car to get to college. I had a budget and wanted to stick to it. Therefore, it was important that the car have no major issues. The only real way to tell is to run a car fax. I went to look at 4 different vehicles and there was one I really liked, but I waited to make an offer until after the car fax. It turned out it had more owners than the story I was given, and in addition, it it had odometer issues and more. Needless to say i was happy I didn't waste my money on that car. The one I did buy checked out nicely. I;d say the $49.99 was a small price to pay t save me loosing thousands.”

“I was leaning towards making an offer on a truck I saw and decided to come back the next day after I ran the VIN # on Carfax.
