“I was interested in a 2004 Cadillac at an online auction. Turns out the car was from a bank sale and little was known about it according to the auction company. CARFAX provided me with very useful information to help me make a decision on what would have otherwise been a blind purchase.”

“Having purchased four used vehicles in the past four years, one for each member of the household, I have found CARFAX to be invaluable. I traveled from 600 to 2100 miles for these vehicles. The information in CARFAX allowed us to find the exact vehicle we were looking in each of these cases. Being able to know mileage, registration and maintenance history made it easier to select vehicles that were not near us and gave us piece of mind when making the final decision. I recommend CARFAX for anyone considering used vehicles because it gives you options to shop far from home with confidence.”

“Car fax makes it easier. Purchasing a used car. I wanted a car less than 3k. Finding a decent car in that price range is hard. I used car fax in researching vehicles and finally got a 2007 Chevy Malibu with no accidents reported, excellent service records. Extremely happy that I used their service and I highly recommend it.”

“I was looking at a 2007 Subaru Imprezza Sport 5 sp. with 180,000 miles. The price was good but that's a lot of miles for any vehicle. But the CARFAX showed that it was a 1 owner vehicle, no accidents. But even though the differential and tranny fluids were changed, it didn't show the timing belt as being changed. With the confidence of the CARFAX 1 owner report, I bought the car, thinking that anyone who did the above maintenance would do the timing belt. Sure enough, his phone number was in the car, and the belt had been changed as well as the clutch. THANK YOU, CARFAX! Love the car! BW”

“CarFax was extremely helpful in aiding my decision to buy the truck I just purchased. Because it was used and there were multiple owners, the facts that my CarFax report provided allowed me to negotiate the price down well below KBB which in turn gave me excellent loan terms. (1.5% to be exact). I did some other things such as an 116 point certified inspection but had it not been for CarFax, I doubt I would have proceeded as far with the purchase. It gave me the confidence I needed to go to the next step.”

“Actually, CarFax helped SELL my car. In a used car market saturated with cars with anonymous owner and repair history. I was able to show potential buyers my car was only owned by me and regularly serviced by the manufacturer's dealer. This placed a potential buyer into a level of confidence he couldn't get from the "other guy's" offerings and the potential buyer turned buyer drove off in his new (used) vehicle confident I was a straight forward seller and he got what he was looking for. A clean car with a clean record. Thanks CarFax!”

“I found a great deal on a 2013 Subaru WRX with only 5900 miles and had to get the carfax to make sure it wasnt too good to be true. Thankfully carfax revealed that everything the owner said was true and it gave me the confidence to purchase the vehicle. Thanks carfax!”

“I was looking for a vehicle so my daughter could get to and from school. There were three vehicles to choose from and so I went to each CARFAX report and found this particular 2002 JEEP Liberty as our choice. If it was NOT for CARFAX, I would have NOT found such an AWESOME vehicle that will be dependable for my college bound daughter. Even after picking via the CARFAX report, we were able to test drive it and it drove like a new vehicle that supported the information on CARFAX!! Thank you CARFAX for being there to help us out in our decision to purchase her 2002 JEEP Liberty!!”

“I drove 2 hours to buy a car that was supposed to have a clear title with no accidents. Car looked like it had been painted. So before I even test drove the car I ran the carfax on it. It showed a flood title. So glad for carfax.”

“After buying a 2003 Sebring convertible on Craigslist listed in excellent shape, I had a repair bill of $980.00 the seller refused any compensation, a week later more problems. I run a CARFAX and found the car was a SALVAGE VEHICLE, AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. I will NEVER buy another user car with out checking CARFAX first.”

“My bride fell in love with her dream car in 2003 when GM introduced the Cadillac XLR. Though I love her with all my heart, the price tag was out of reach. This year, the romance was rekindled as Karen started to search for XLRs that she could make her own. Well...she's not as sneaky as I am. I found her dream car in Alabama (we live in Wisconsin). The Car Fax gave me the confidence to make an offer and bring her dream car home. Needless to say, she was delighted and the car continues to light her eyes up every day! Thanks Car Fox!”

“Carfax is the De-facto before buying a used car. It has saved me from buying a lot of cars which were good looking but didn't have so good history. It is completely worth it. Car buying is a major decision and buying a carfax account is small but significant fist step towards it. You can be 60-70% sure of buying a car based on its carfax report, rest 30-40% depends on you checking the car physically. So you see how carfax has a Lion's share in decision making!! I am glad I bought a carfax account before buying my car. - Vaibhav”

“Carfax is for more than buying a used car. When my BMW needed a new engine I used Carfax to confirm the mileage and service history for a salvage motor sourced from eBay. Now my Bimmer with 87,000 miles has a new engine with 18,000 miles on it.”
