“I was trying to buy a Toyota Corolla with clean title and low milles, but when a check the Carfax the car has more milles that it says and the car was involved in an accident, thank you Carfax for help me!”

“I fell in love with my 68 Mustang 10 years ago. The time finally came I had to sell. Up drives a 98 Mustang convertible Cobra. He wants to trade straight up. This sounded too good to be true. CARFAX to the rescue. An hour later the deal was done. The car was exactly as advertised. With CARFAX, I was an informed and confident buyer.”

“Carfax helped me find the perfect car! I looked at a gorgeous white Toyota Corolla last year. I was so set on purchasing it. Thanks god I checked the Carfax Report. It showed the vehicle had 4 previous accidents and was towed from the accident. I'm glad I checked with carfax before making a decision. I landed up buying an amazing Chevy with a clean carfax! If it weren't for Carfax I could have landed up with a car that had previous accident damage. Remember looks are deceiving on cars! The only way to really know about a car before buying it is by checking the carfax report for hidden damage that you can't see with your eyes. It's like a report card on a car ;) thanks Carfax!”

“Oneday, I went to buy a car from a private seller. I checked the car by observing and testing it to see how are the engine and the transmission. The car was in very good condition and had no problem at all and everything sounds good. However, and because I wanted to make sure that this car is reliable, I checked this car on CARFAX by entering its VIN number, and guest what? The odometer read 94K milage and that's what atracted me to buy it, but the CARFAX said that this car was over 220k milage. Thus, whenever I buy a car even from a dealership, I directly check it in CARFAX because it is the best friend for your pocket.”

“Looked at a car here in FL, nice car very clean inside and out. After reviewing the Carfax report I found the car to be from the "rustbelt" which led me to further investigation finding the car was completely rotting in the frame area!”

“I was recently shopping for a pre-owned BMW X5 and found one in a city, 5 hours away from me. I it looked awesome, flawless almost. What luck. I called and made an appointment with the sales person for the following day to go look at it (as there weren't that many available locally that were optioned out the way I wanted). For some reason however, I kept thinking that this must be too good to be true. The price was really good. I signed up for Carfax that evening and plugged in the VIN. Thank goodness I did as the report showed that not only had the vehicle been in an accident but it was a roll-over accident! No wonder it looked so good in the photos; it had been completely rebuilt. Regardless, I immediately knew I wasn't going down that road. I called the sales person the next morning and cancelled the appointment. Not only was I saved from a potentially horrible vehicle, but I saved myself a 10 hour drive. Thank goodness for Carfax. I found my vehicle shortly thereafter and as I had signed up for the 5 carfax reports, I found a good report on the X5 I ended up with. - Bryan H”

“Sure glad, I did the Carfax on a recent attempted purchase of a '92 Ford Mustang convertible. car had had some front end damage, not serious but enough to help me negotiate and determine if I wanted that car. Carfax is a very useful source and has help my family in purchasing used cars over the years,tnx JR”

“I needed a 2005 or newer car in order to work with UBER, the ride-sharing company. Having been out of work since August, I didn't have a lot of money. I found a 2006 Ford Escape that I could afford but it had over 200,000 miles on it. I purchased a CARFAX though, which showed that it had been meticulously maintained. Without another thought I bought the car, which I love, and am now giving rides. :)”

“I love carfax.com it helped me buy a beautiful 2010 cheve equinox. I loved being able to customize my search looking for no accidents, only 1 owner, AWD, and low miles SUV, for the price I wanted to pay. I loved seeing the details from the previous owner about car maintenance and mileage. It made me feel very confident when I purchased my car, I knew what I was getting.”

“Living in a remote mountain area, searching on-line was truly my only option outside of burning a lot of fuel driving hundreds of miles to find the vehicle I wanted -- a Cadillac SRX. CARFAX is the clear winner on all counts. The reviews of dealers by previous customers helped me to avoid potential problems with shady offers as well as dealers that had started out very good and then gone to the Dark Side. The other service did not offer near as much data. The only snag was learning to NOT put too many specifics in the search engine for the car I sought in order to get it to show me everything in the 200 mile range I chose, but other than that, the whole experience was wonderful and saved me a lot of haggling stress. The road maps offered were detailed as well, making finding my dealer at 170 miles away very easy. There were more than a dozen clear photos of my beauty taken from all angles, interior and exterior. The best part was finally meeting my new vehicle and seeing how much better she was in person! When time comes to again seek a vehicle, I will definitely use CARFAX and nothing else! I also appreciate the free service for keeping track of my new car's maintenance as it occurs. Thank you!”

“I was going to buy a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR, because it had low mileage and the price for the car was a steal. Good thing I ran a CarFax report, the car was in a wall collision impact, and title was Salvaged. I highly recommend running a CarFax report before buying any car, even if it seems too good to be true. Thank you, CAR FOX!”

“Found a car an expensive car over the internet with a very cheap price tag. Was told no accident history by the owner. Made a cashier check but decided to run carfax before final purchase. I'm very glad I did since vehicle has selvage history. WELL WORTH TO RUN A CF report before buying a used car. Lesson learned!!!”

“One used car seller edited his carfax, & he write down 1 owner car in place of 3 owner car & also he write down personal use vehicle in place of rental, taxi. Another seller told me his car is in excellent condition but later by carfax I get to know the car is salvage. Although I spend money but carfax save me a lot.”
