“I would give 4.5 stars for Carfax since they provide excellent car's history report, except for some too old or recently changed license plate.”

“I used CarFax in the long search for our "new" to us, pick up - It was nice to have another layer of information about the vehicles being considered. Having the CarFax allowed us to feel confident in the choice we eventually made and we are loving our 05 Ford F-150! I would recommend CarFax and use it again when we are in the market to buy another car!”

“Recently, I bought an old but well taken care Freestar 2005 minivan for my parents. The minivan past my "eye" and driving tests. However, I felt uncertain about proceeding with the purchase due to the lack of information shared by the seller. Carfax report provided me with the information required to be certain about purchasing a used vehicle. My parents love their minivan and I love to see them happy!”

“CarFax is absolutely essential for anyone who is buying their first ever car. Since the used car market is not 100% transparent, its easy to get tricked into buying a faulty car with hidden defects that does not match your expectation. I'm glad I purchased the CarFax account and was able to check the complete history before making a decision.”

“Through carfax I found out that a car I was looking at had 4 other owners, which I thought it had less and that was great info to know! Also showed all the owners and locations it was and recorded mileage. It showed that it had a clean title and no major accidents were recorded, I bought the car essentially based on a carfax and a visual inspection, had the car for 6 months now and it's still running great and I love it, will probably use carfax on my next purchase, it's not super expensive and might give you peace of mind”

“I shortlisted 3-4 vehicles and do the CAR FAX while i go for inspection of the vehicle. I have almost shortlisted a Toyota Camry which the owner was pretending as second owner actually CARFAX reported that he was a fourth owner and he was not aware of the previous owners and the old service history. It saved me in buying undervalued overpriced car.”

“i was in the market for a 90's vehicle in high demand. Carfax allowed me to check history at my fingertips, the minute a new add came up. I quickly found out that the model I was after is very prone to odometer rollbacks, salvage, and other title issues. I eventually found a diamond in the rough with low miles, and in great condition. Had I not used carfax I believe I would have settled for a lesser car.”

“My Wife and Myself were looking for a good first car for our Daughter, we found several vehicles for her, and let her pick a couple to eliminate some, we then used Carfax to help us eliminate all vehicles involved in collisions and incorrect mileage. Finally we found the perfect car for her thanks to Carfax! Plus they love the CarFox.”

“I was looking for a Subaru WRX. I saw a 2011 model online with low miles and a rather low price. Concerned the price didn't seem right for the year/mileage I checked the car's history on Carfax. Carfax showed it had a salvaged title and a little searching showed in had been in a front end collision and was considered totaled. I passed on that 2011 WRX and a couple weeks later saw a 2002 WRX. The car's history looked good from what Carfax showed and I went home with it later that day.”

“The CarFax report I received allowed me to make a more informed decision on the car I was interested in and helped to put my mind at ease in the sense that I had done as much research / due diligence prior to buying that a person could do. When buying a used car, research is the key and after that, hopefully you have a great experience with your purchase...and so far, I have.”

“I found a 2014 Toyota Avalon hybrid at CarMax in Florida with 5000 miles on it. I paid the 39 dollars to check out the car and I found it had never been registered or never been in an accident. The dealer in Miami used it for his personal use ( wife ect.) I bought it and because it had never been registered, Bank of America gave me a super great rate on a car loan. Thank you car fax!”

“Our current vehicle was priced fairly low, so we were nervous about buying it. After looking up the history on carfax we found it had a clean title and good maintenance records. It's been awesome having a car that works well for us and has a clean history.”
