“Carjet are scammers - Avoid
Based on experience in Antalya
1) Paid for car full insurance online www.carjet.com
2) was told it was with Abby car and than got contacted by Hello car.
3) Turned up early to avoid any headache
4) Got NO car
5) Carjet stating I should have cancelled 24 hours before
6) No money back
7) Went to Booking.com and got my car with less headache.
I am getting my credit card company to claim my money back.
If you do use these scammers make sure you use credit card and NOT debit card.”
“I would not recommend the company. Yes the car is very cheap to rent but after you return the car you get hit with all sort of fees, for example "rental management service" 90£ and then another £50 for "payment management". If these fees were disclosed before rental would probably be cheaper to rent directly to the company and not through this Brooker.
These fees are not because I did not fill the tank back or any other issues.
Also they charge you and don't even send the invoices, you have to request them...”
“Na een vertraging van enkele uren kwamen we zogezegd te laat aan om onze auto op te halen. Dat moet max 2 uur na het van vooropgesteld tijdstip zijn…
Geen auto dus want we moesten maar de kleine lettertjes gelezen hebben en hen gebeld hebben vanuit de luchthaven toen we vernamen dat er een vertraging was.
Dit was hun antwoord en ze gooiden te telefoon dicht. Bedankt dus voor niets. Geen auto en geen terugbetaling.

“This is an absolute fraud! They advertise company that accept debit card but they didn’t say you will be forced to pay extra 470 euro for insurance. I lost $400 to this company without getting my car. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Shocking. Don’t go with these people. They will rob you.”

We did a booking through their website, we received the confirmation and in the next day we paid an Uber, lost our time to go to the Car Rental place to take our car, but they said that CarJet had canceled our reservation for no reason.
We got an Uber back to the hotel and tried to book again. I tried 3 times with my credit card, but the page didn’t finished the purchase, I wasn’t receiving any confirmation in my email and it was no charges in my card. I thought that it was a problem with my card and we tried with my boyfriend’s card, that we also didn’t receive the confirmation. We called Carjet in the next morning to know about the booking and after a long wait in the line and one hang up in our face they said that this last one went through.
Great, we got the car, everything went well.
When I come back from holidays and I look to my credit card, I have the unpleaseant surprise to discover that they charged me for the 3 trials that did in their website. I highlight that we didn’t receive any confirmation e-mail and that we called in the following day to confirm about our booking and ask about the trials (that nobody told us that went through).
I tried to call them twice, but they refuse to give me the money back.
So that’s how they get their money from their costumers, with your booking trials that seems to not work but indeed they do and they charge them all.
Get away from these scammers!”
“This is my booking number CJT-71033566. I have booked a car from Green motors (Istanbul Airport) and when i went to the counter, they were very rude and when they have completed all the procedures and asked for credit card which I gave them. They told me that my credit card is blocked and from there at IST airport i have called my banker in OMAN and they told me that they didnt get any attempt. Actually my bankers were right.
The reason is that it was a peak season and I have booked it for cheaper price from CARJET and they lied to me to make more money from other walk in customers. I have used my card everywhere during my stay in ISTANBUL and card was working perfectly.
Once i have sent them an email for REFUND, they started making excuse that It is not their mistake if CREDIT CARD doesnt work. Shown them proof of the same day transcation at my hotel for more than 500 Euros that see it worked but still they are making all non sense excuses.
DO NOT BOOK VIA THEM. THEY ARE BIGGEST SCAMMERS. BE CAREFUL”

They took all the booking money (700€) but i didn’t get any car when I arrived to the car rental office
Also I didn’t get any refund at all
No answer from customer service on phone or email in days
And if you get any answer it will be rude and disrespect to the client
Just don’t deal with them at all!!!”
“Arrived at the pre-booked time (7.30pm) at the Alamo office in Marseille to pick up the car I had pre-paid for through CarJet and the office was closed!! Spent 2 hours trying to contact someone in CarJet or Alamo and ended up having to take an Uber for 160 euros to get to our holiday destination. Have asked for refund (via website) and just get automated responses saying "we are trying to contact the car hire company....". It's been a month now!
Like everyone else says: they'll happily take your money and then are incredibly hard to contact if things go wrong. (Spanish phone number which you have to wait an age for them to answer and then they simply put the phone down when you explain the problem). Avoid :-(”
“4 weken voor aankomst in kreta een auto gehuurd via carjet. Bij boeken stond een gratis extra bestuurder dus ik deed mijn vriend als hoofdbestuurder om mezelf daarna erbij te zetten. Dat was niet het geval, omdat de kreditcard op mijn naam staat probeerde ik dit meerdere malen te veranderen. Maar dit lukte niet. Dus op goede hoop vandaag op kreta aangekomen. Eenmaal bij abbycars de eigenlijke verhuurder wilde de auto niet meegeven omdat de kreditcard op mijn naam stond en mijn vriend als hoofdbestuurder stond. Ze zijden ons naar carjet te bellen. Dit had ik thuis ook geprobeerd maar kwam telkens bij een spaans bedrijf uit. Vandaag zijden ze dan dat ze niets konden doen en ik men geld kwijt was... daar stonden we dan zonder auto en al ons geld daarvoor kwijtm plus een nieuwe auto moeten huren”

“Scam, I was late to pick up my car in Norway and they cancelled my booking. When I called them they blamed me for being late and refused to refund my money. 700€ down the drain. Never ever use them!!!”
“Lasst die Finger davon! Ich habe ein Auto in Griechenland gebucht und meinen Freund als ersten Fahrer angegeben.. Leider ist sein Führerschein an diesem Morgen in der Hälfte gebrochen. Die Autovermietung wollte den nicht annehmen, ich wollte dann auf meine Führerschein umbuchen was auch nicht ging. Die Reservierungsgebühr von 100€ in den Sand gesetzt. Die ließen mit sich überhaupt nicht reden. Auch die Zentrale hat aufgelegt und wollte uns nicht helfen.
Das heißt beim kleinsten Problem lassen Sie dich im stich!!!!”
“I arrived from Spain into Gatwick airport on the 21st June. Went to the Carjet pick up outside of the Sofitel hotel. The young lady on duty in their office was very nice and helpful but she seemed to have a few problems with a couple of customers before me complaining about the cars they had rented! After about 20 minutes listening to there problems I was given my key for my Kia car. I was directed to where it was parked and was surprised to find that said car had numerous scratches all round it and one front door handle half broken off. When I turned on the car there was a sign showing on the dashboard saying all tyres needed pumping up. That was enough for me! I went straight back into the office and politely demanded another car. This they did and unfortunately the second Kia model wasn't much better than the first offering. One other thing that surprised me was there was not any employer available to check both of these cars with me. On my return after a week, again nobody to take return of the car or keys. A box sufficed!!?? Never would I recommend this company to anybody. Stay far away!”
“I suggest avoiding this intermediary. I made my booking Wednesday evening July 12th for car rental in Malta, pick-up Saturday morning July 15th. Until Friday noon July 14th I haven’t received booking confirmation. I spent more than an hour on the phone trying to solve the issue. I spoke with three different people and each of them said the same that there is no contact with car rental company which was supposed to deliver the car and dropped off. No money refund yet. It’s not a proper customer treatment.”

Advertising cheapest car rental and its not. They charge you insurance at point of booking and then you are charged a further insane insurance amount upon collecting your car. We were quoted $6000au as a deposit to leave.
Contacting thier customer service team Lydia was a waste of time... only to get a standard not wanting to help reply from her.
Thier Advertising is not clear at all. Says you have paid the insurance but you have not... they scam you again for more money.”

We came to collect the car, and because ee were late we didn't get our car and they didn't refund us. How this is possible?? few hours late and our car is gone? Which we wanted to rent for the whole week.
