“Omg. Do not book with this group. Do not take their insurance !! I was happy with the car and rate but they 3rd party thru Europe car who were great. However I was told they do not honour carjet insurance and I should get a refund. There is no contact. They won’t respond. They tell you they have the wrong email …. Even tho they are emailing you to tell you this. Do not take their insurance. Take the insurance off the third party. Absolutely hate car jet - they have no customer service and just leave you hanging so they can take the insurance money you pay that will not be honoured when u pick up the car. SCAM I did not get a refund and nobody responded to my emails demanding a refund.”
“Bij ophalen van de auto, werd bij ons onder dwang een dure verzekering aangepraat, net als bij vier andere stellen. “We “booked “ the car for 17 days in Lithuania. When we got to the rental service, which happened to be the third party (NOT CAR JET), the car wasn’t available. The explanation was that we rented for 11:00 am pick up, but, due to the airline delay, arrived at 13:00…. We ordered the vehicle for 17 DAYS!!!! Since the original car was gone, they ordered 3 times more expensive option!!!! When we rejected the offer, they took our deposit. We ended up renting the same kind of vehicle for the original amount from the different car rental company that was few steps away from the bogus “business”. Beware Car Jet at any cost since it is unethical and bogus “company”.”
“Booked a Nissan Qashqai and unfortunately paid 100 euro in advance. And I was proposed toyota camry sedan. I travelled with a dog so I needed a space for a dog - not in car trunk. So I resigned. They had only one car available. I hadnt got a refund. They kept lying that toyota camry sedan is similiar to SuV and that they offer always 4 or 5 cars to choose from. Nope. Thats a lie. So, basically they stole me hundred euros.”
“Not helpful at all. The voucher did inform us what rental car office to pick up the vehicle. I kept trying to call CarJet while walking around in the heat. No one ever answered. Even through email, they do not respond. Finally a different car rental office found the location and I walked even further to where the car was located.
Don't use CarJet if you like good customer service or communication.
Walking around aimlessly in the heat not knowing where to get the car was sooo stressful. Not a good way to start vacation.
Then we were charged over $40.00 because we had to drop off the car at 7:30 to catch a ferry. They charge us "out of hours service" when all the other car rentals open at 7:00 so folks can catch their ferry!!”

Sure, the prices look great on their website, but good luck trying to find any form of customer service. There’s no contact number, no way to get help—nothing, absolutely nowhere. And when you inevitably run into a problem (like we did), don’t expect any resolution.
Our flight was delayed by 7 hours, and their response? "The car is gone because you were late." Really? You’d think a car you rented for 10 days would still be yours, right? Think again. No response from them for a week, no refund, they’ve literally vanished.
So those 'great prices' end up being the worst deal ever, because you’ll be scrambling to find a car last minute and dealing with an extremely frustrating situation. Avoid the nightmare!”
“I rented 2 cars with CarJet this summer. Both times they stole money from my card when I returned the vehicle. I spoke to someone about the first and the money was refunded. I haven’t had chance to chase the second theft, but it is clear why they can offer cheap prices. They steal from your credit card once they have the details. If you don't have an EU drivers licence DO NOT BOOK WITH CARJET.COM I have a Canadian drivers licence and the rental company wanted to charge me another 300 euros on top of what already paid online when I booked. I only found this out at the office at the time of pickup. So I decided not to rent for this amount. Then the pickup time passed while talking back and forth, and trying to call Carjet but unable to talk to anyone. And because the pickup time passed I'm not eligible for refund. Is that how they make money? How I am supposed to get an EU drivers license before traveling? They know that. Disgusting. I hope these unprofessional scammers will lose customers and go out of business.”
“Wij hadden geboekt voor 14 dagen met VOLLEDIGE verzekering. Ikzelf had betaald met mijn mastercard, maar mijn echtgenoot ging rijden. Bij de boeking vroegen ze de hoofdbestuurder, diegene ik dan ook ingevuld had. Daar aangekomen zei de mevrouw "big problem ! " Wij moesten nog eens 350 euro bijbetalen omdat de kaart op mijn naam stond en omdat mijn echtgenoot de auto ging besturen. En....we moesten NOG eens 100 euro laten vastzetten op onze visa !!! . Dus als ik van bij mij thuis iemand een huurauto kado doe op reis, dan mag dat niet ! ?? Nooit huren wij nog bij carjet !! Wat een dieven zeg ! Het heeft ons uiteindelijk meer gekost dan eender welke duurste firma die auto's verhuren op Rhodos. Heel slechte ervaring.”
