“Absolute cowboys and rip-off merchants. The whole system is automated and they are impossible to contact (no way to message or email them and the only phone number is an international number that they don’t answer). I am disgusted with Carjet and their cowboy partners Exclusive Rent A Car Dubrovnik. Our flight was cancelled through no fault of our own and we were rebooked on the next available flight the following day. I contacted Carjet and Exclusive Rent a car to advise them of the delay and request that they hold the car. I also sent a request to Carjet to modify the booking on 02/03/24 as soon as we found out our flight was cancelled. Despite this, when we arrived at Dubrovnik we we told that the booking was cancelled and they did not have a car for us. We had to source a vehicle elsewhere at considerable stress and additional expense (1200 Euros). As a final insult, Carjet have kept our deposit and they make it impossible to contact them; there no email address, no way to make a complaint and they do not answer the phone. This experience has been costly and very distressing for me and my family. Avoid at all costs.”
“I do not recommend them at all, they charged me 170 PLN in August and have not given it back yet, on Sunday I was supposed to have a car at Chopin Airport in Warsaw with Viaggiarerent, the rental company was closed, I waited for an hour and a half, I called and nothing. They do not answer emails, only after a month someone wrote to me from Spain, I sent that I called this rental company a dozen or so times, then I got another email after three months to send the same thing. Total hopelessness, they take money for nothing, there is not even a normal service, I do not recommend”

The car rental they booked with take no responsibility on insurance that you paid for and take a hearty deposit even if you are fully covered. Any claims you may have are with CarJet whom you can not contact! They do give you a car, but not the one you booked.”

I would like to share my experience with the car rental broker company, Carjet, based in Spain, in the hope of warning others against working with such deceitful companies.
Recently, I booked a Mercedes Vito 8 for six days from Carjet at Cologne Bonn Airport. During the booking process, Carjet required my credit card details and charged approximately €900 from my account.
Upon arriving in Cologne, I realized that the Mercedes Vito was not suitable for my needs. I required a splitter van for moving purposes, and I immediately contacted Carjet to request a vehicle change. However, they informed me that they did not have any suitable vehicle available. As a result, I did not take the Mercedes Vito at all.
While I fully understand that the company may charge me for one rental day, Carjet has unethically withheld the full amount of €900 from my account without returning a single cent. This is unacceptable and dishonest business practice.
I strongly urge others to avoid working with middleman companies like Carjet, who prey on customers in such a manner. Instead, I recommend booking directly with trusted rental companies such as Sixt, Avis, or similar firms. In case of issues, these direct companies provide much better customer service and transparency.
Carjet, on the other hand, offers no support when problems arise. They only provide a single phone number in Spain, staffed by rude, unhelpful individuals who offer no assistance.
Please be cautious and avoid dealing with such a fraudulent company.

You cannot speak to ANYONE re the booking. I even rang Spain. Couldn't speak to anyone as it was never answered
The agents acting on their behalf were not as helpful as they could be and their hands were tied re refunds.
I would NOT recommend this terrible company. They cost me both time AND money. Gutted”

They claim not to have hidden cost but in reality they do. One of the biggest scams I've experienced.
There are hidden cost and more than you would expect.
We booked a car through CarJet with Million car hire in Faro, Portugal. Do not believe there is no deposit, because there is and a huge one! That was first red flag on our arrival.
The car itself was without a fuel which is even okay, but after 2 days we noticed it didn't have the engine oil too! Luckily we were going through Faro that day so they swapped a car for us, but obviously we lost some time doing this.
Instructions we got were unclear also so we ended up on the wrong parking while switching the car and they refused to pay €4 for parking - ridiculous! They simply don't give a duck about customers. We took this on us at the end.
Total bill they charged us was a €100 more than the website says for 6 days plus deposit (that should not be there according to the website) of €3000 for a basic car.
Customer service at the desk hired by million car hire - extremely rude.
Again Strongly NOT recommended!

“If I could give them zero stars, I would. CarJet is a joke. Do not touch them! I booked a car and travelled by coach to Heathrow from Oxford to collect it from Drivalia, only to be told that they didn't have a car for me. Drivalia has a 1 hour courtesy window, from the arranged time of collection, but CarJet's terms and conditions have a 4 hour window. Even though I called Drivalia to tell them I was on my way they did nothing and even said that all cars that day had been cancelled as they had no cars left. I had to arrange coach travel for my onward journey. CarJet refused to refund the money for the booking and would not accept any evidence I could provide them (phone logs, their own recorded telephone conversations, messages to friends at the time, coach tickets etc), and essentially called me a liar and implied that I never turned up to collect the car. Absolute joke. Never again.”
