Please take care of your clients (us) seriously, I'm officially telling your service need to be improve and look into it. Your customer service often hang out the call (if they couldn't solve the issue or answering client's question.
My situation was on the 17 August2023, phone number was barred due to late payment. Then at first i called customer service on (0196011111) she told me to sent my payment received which i had paid don the afternoon, and kindly sent it to the Celcom whatsapp support (0196861111) i told what she did and sent all the related documents. Then an hour later, celcom's support on whatsapp told me this issue due to company account must to contact (1111) because they can't access much info. Then at the end around 10:55PM i call to this (1111) celcom support, they told me issue can't be solve must to wait for 3 days to unbarred the line. And told me couldn't do anything at all, guess what at the end suddenly straight end my call after (28 mins) of calling.
God bless your service, since we are supporting using your network for more than 5 years. and this is all the solution you are always providing to us.”
“seldom need to go through customer service of celcom because the system was quite good in terms of automatic billing checking.
recently due to billing issue, i logged a report with celcom, without checking, the operator was saying that the issue was caused by me according to his experience.
he then reluctantly say he would create a report and ask me to check back after 3 days. 2 days later , i got a miss call from celcom, when i pick up, it just hang up. i take initiative to call back, again when it almost reach the operator, it hang up again.
i check the app, they straight away close my case without giving me any update.
celcom really need to improve their customer service, especially their agent quality.”
“Called today about the 35.00 per month free phone deal. The Lady badgered me. I'm currently paying $55 @ month. Am retired, they don't offer a senior discount. Now out of the blue. They're going to offer a free phone & $3495 @
G. I told her look up the date I started Celcom. She didn't answer, it's as I was out to rip the company off. I than said look up when I've ever missed a payment, no answer. She then started to threaten me with a higher level of customer service. Something is way wrong here. I finally said, I have only 2 words to say..... I'M DONE. I'll be looking.......”
“There is a customer service lady operator named Nara (should be from the postpaid department) who should really consider changing her type of work. She does not has the correct attitude as a customer service provider. I am having issue with an outstanding bill, where I believed Celcom wrongly charged me. I've been making numerous calls to Celcom, none of the staffs could help with my request of checking the bill breakdown and details (to prove that Celcom charged correctly). Nonetheless, all of them tried to provide alternatives to help me. However, when I called today (8th of July, 2023, around 1.40pm), this lady, not only she sounded very dull and passive, but when I asked her what should I do, she quit offering help. Here's our conversation:
Her: I can't help you check the bill breakdown because this is from the past. (I don't remember it exactly but it more or less means this way)
Me: What should I do then? I ported out in January, but the bill is for Feb to March.
Her: Miss, just pay the bill.
Me: Sorry, you are asking me to pay a bill which I know I didn't subscribe to?
Her: Yes, just pay the bill.
The case is still ongoing because none of the staffs I have spoken to could solve it immediately. One said it is a technical issue and has sent it to the IT department, and will get back to me in 3 days. But it's been 2-3 weeks now and I am still being harassed with the Finder messages and calls every 2 days. At this point I am seriously considering changing to another telco company.”
“I purchased a 30 days international roaming service data plan for New Zealand trip via Celcom. Their partners are Vodafone & 2 Degrees in NZ. Once family arrived in Auckland, they couldn't find Vodafone network while 2 Degrees are forbidden to use. So despite numerous attempt to access on the data network, they failed to connect with the local network service provider. And after almost 8 days out of data network usage they only managed to find out Vodafone is not in operation anymore but changed to a new network provider name One NZ. So all the while during the trip, none of the services had been utilised because simply Celcom failed to inform customer of such change with their partner in New Zealand. And during complaints lodged to the Celcom customer service, a guy name Chin, didn't even notify us this changes & assist us to reconnect the network. So ultimately we paid almost RM 100 for nothing & we did ask for refund but they Celcom didn't promise to do anything for their mistake. We will never recommend anyone to use Celcom for roaming service & data network service in overseas. Try other service providers better.”
“i went to celcom pavilion and ask regarding my phone care, my phone was stolen at 29/3/23 claim phone care at 30/3/23 and i want to claim my phone care like they said "very easy u can claim anytime on online website" and im asking about downgrade plan, so that guy said i can downgrade and still can claim that phone care anytime as long i pay for that so yah! now almost 3 weeks i still not received my device?? i go back to celcom pavilion and they not serve me well just said "later we call" almost 3 weeks i never get any feedback and my device!!!!???? wth????? celcom try to scamm me or what????? if you guys cannot do claim please give my money back! now easily said 35x24mnth declined?? are u kidding me???? that staff if u not sure with your answer pls dont try manipute me.I WANT REFUND!!!ALMOST 3 WEEKS I DID NOT RECEIVE MY PHONE AND THEY KEEP SAYING "WE GOT IT PROBLEM" the hell my friend same case with me within 3 days he get phone care claim!!”
“Duduk kat bandar pun line haram J, apa bnda la celcom ni, duk kat kg bole la kira, ni tgh bandar, line kadang E!! Kepala hotak! Dalam hosp lagi la, nak call pun xlepas! Customer servis pun kelaut, staff semua makan taik ke apa. Dulu mmg best pakai celcom,, skng TIDAK LAGI”

“I want to change my contract to take a decide bundle. The staff say they can't give the phone to me because the IT system is trouble and can't update the contract. In first the staff say 24 hour will change but already wait for more than one week. Their own IT have trouble, how your can manage your customer network. I feel very bad experiece in celcom”
“Unstable network even in the middle of night. Unlimited experience not really unlimited. Why pay more for uncapped speed when it still slow? Celcom try to scam user by capping the speed.”
