“This has been the worse experience using a company. I travel often and usually find great deals. The way you send flight information is not very helpful. I bought my brother’s ticket using Travelocity , we had no issues at all. With using Cheep Flights Fares and paying your check in fee I was not checked in, almost missed my flight. Then I added a rental car. Your agent went through Priceline and rented me a car then changed me double. If he hadn’t been so sloppy and sent the confirmation I would have never known that I was being gouged. When I tried to complain to agent was extremely rude. I get to the rental car establishment and they didn’t use my credit card that I used to purchase the flight and car. So I get stranded in Chicago. I call back to your company and he is telling me it’s my fault with my prepaid card, which is not, it was just a new company. I will be fighting for a refund for the car that I could not get. I will also tell everyone I can about this experience.”

“I searched for and purchased a ticket from Vancouver to Toronto. Or, at least, that's what I thought I was doing. Instead, I was booked on a flight to Waterloo. When I called to try and get it resolved, I was told that it was "[my] fault", "I should've known by the airport code", and then they hung up on me. I found the customer support lacking, insulting, and downright rude. They recognized that my email said "Toronto" but booked to "Waterloo" and that they're not anywhere near each other, but refused to assist with my dilemma. In short, I'm never recommending this service.”

“The prices wasn’t the problem. The problem was that I picked to add a checked bag. When I got to the airport I was told it wasn’t there. Had to pay it the airline’s website and pay more. I wanted to pay in CAD but had to pay the American rate and exchange.”

“It seems very bad to me that after you buy a ticket with an itinerary that fits your needs, the agent calls to change it and you do not have the option to adjust to what you want, if one buys a ticket it is because you have seen many options and chooses the one that really fits the needs.”

“Representative booked flight for January instead of the December date.When I arrived for the flight I ended up paying $361 instead of $109. Very disappointed!”

“I Double Checked the dates and screen shot them... They changed from Dec. to Jan. when the tickets where issued. This is the second time I have booked tickets on this site and did the same thing last time. Had to call to correct the dates and cost an addtional $600.00 to get it fixed. Will not be using this site again. Something is fishy!!!”

“I was charged twice once by Cheap Flights Fares and once by United Airlines because Cheap Flights Fares gave my visa information to a third party (United Air) and it was used and then refunded and used again and refunded. Not happy WORST EVER”

“Think Twice Before Booking If you’re trying to book a flight on a tight budget, think carefully because even a small mistake can end up costing you hundreds of dollars. My experience with this website was disappointing. I had a set budget for Christmas presents for my grandkids, but I accidentally booked the wrong date. After booking, I was left with only two costly options: lose over $300 or pay an additional $100+ to fix a single ticket. I was incredibly frustrated, especially when comparing this to the perks offered by other airlines—things like free baggage, free itinerary changes, and better customer support. Do yourself a favor and choose a more reasonable airline, or ensure every detail is perfect before booking, because the smallest error could result in major consequences.”

“I was informed when a change to my itinerary occurred. I called immediately to get the return flight changed, and the customer service worker said it was changed to a better time. I now checked the reservation and it was entirely unchanged and I had to pay $80 to change it myself. I would like that $80 returned.”

“The original fare was okay. But the communication between the site and the airline is horrible. They end up charging me an extra $57 with a threat of leaving me if I didn't pay. I have never been treated so badly by any carrier.”

“I was in a party of 5 paid for one bag. I gave them my name and it showed i hadn't purchased a bag. They put it in another one of the passengers name and I paid for the bag at the airport. Coming back they said I paid for airport assistance which stopped them from assigning me seats after I purchased pre check in that come with seat assignment. I therefor had to go extra early to the airport to secure seats. I never paid for assistance nor did the airline have anything on me asking for assistance. Those 2 errors were unacceptable. Especially since when I called them , they insisted that the errors were made by me”

“When you think you've purchased a flight for a specific cost, and then you get a phone call the next day saying that your flight is NOT confirmed and the price has increased, that is FRUSTRATING. I could have gotten the same rate going directly through the airline company. I will likely never use your service again. I would like to add the following: I was contacted within 24 hours of my complaint by a representative of Cheap Flights. The representative was very responsive in wanting to resolve my frustration and I was compensated fairly for my personal issue. In addition, the representative agreed to notify the company regarding the need for transparency in this business practice on their website, i.e. that a confirmed purchase on Cheap Flights is not a confirmed ticket until accepted by the airline company. When transparency of this business practice is resolved, I would change my rating.”
