“Had a mechanic called Steve come and do my clutch including part and warranty in June 2020 he said he had completed the work for the clutch on the same day I had problems with it. He said it must be the part he had purshased and that he will get the part and put the new one in and take out the faulty one that he pushased. I have gave Steve numerous chance to come a rectify the outstanding job and through numerous messages with my dad who is also a retired mechanic. He made a date and never stuck to it . I will give him 24 hours to refund the money back into my account I’ve messaged him my details or I will take this further I have all the messages and screen shot, emails confirmation. I will report it to trading standards and I will see him in court .”
“Contacted click mechanic to replace my alternator.they quoted me a price I agreed and a bit of time later a mechanic rang from Walsall performance centre agreeing to carry out repair.my car was repaired with a 12 month guarantee.only for the car to breakdown with the same problem 7 weeks later .i got in touch with Walsall performance centre (mark) who said they would be out on Monday to replace the alternator as it was guaranteed. Wouldn’t be a problem.needless to say no one turned up to repair my car .triedcto speak to Walsall performance centre only for my number to be blocked .so I contacted click mechanic direct who did get in touch with Walsall performance centre who again gave me the run around again .my car still not repaired 3 weeks later .i gave them a good comment on there website because the first part of my dealings with this garage Was great .but once a problem happened with there repair they did not want to know because I had already paid them they would not honour myv12 month guarantee they had given me ... be warned do not touch this garage Walsall performance centre they can not be trusted at all .”

“Had a guy out to do a major service and change an aux belt. Pretty simple jobs, I could and should have given them a go myself but yet after 3 hours all he had done was change an oil filter, air filter and then proceed to screw the car when it came to the fuel filter. Said he wasn't going to charge and then charged and put down he felt threatened. Click Mechanic clearly side with their mechanics and looking at the reviews on here I would say these are more accurate compared to that off those on the site everyone should *trust* won't use again and would advise any one considering to re consider and pay once not cheap and pay twice”
“Told them I had a flat battery, arrived an hour late, spent 10 minutes looking at it and then told me I had a flat battery 😂. Charged me £59 for that information which I already had told them before call out. Said he’d come back 5 days later and gave me a quote of £211. I rang RAC, they came out and checked battery and fitted a new one for £169, I wish I’d gone to the best first and not bothered with Click mechanic, they got £59 out of me for absolutely nothing 😡”
“I disagree with the poor reviews. The mechanic who serviced my car was fast and did an excellent job. I had an issue originally with the frustrating booking system (that really does need looking at) but the actual work was done promptly, efficiently and at the time I booked it for.”
“Having used click mechanic in the past, when I need a part replaced as a precaution it was my go to..my mechanic was due between 10 and 12.. throughout the day insisted he'd be here even if it was going to take him till 11pm. At 10pm..he cancelled and reacheduled for 2 days time..after taking apart the engine he realised he had the wrong part and insisted that all the parts were left in the boot..for 3 days I couldn't use my vehicle. Today he managed to source the part for an extra 90something pounds..despite another 10 till 12 appointment he eventually arrived at 8pm..the repair was completed less than an hour ago.. I write this review as I now sit in my vehicle with a snapped belt which was replaced under an hour ago!
My car which was fully functional before clicks involvement is waiting to be loaded onto a recovery vehicle.”
“Absolute joke, got robbed of £90 cash ontop of the job I paid for, said needed new Callipers aswell cash only, took cash and ran when I checked hadn't replaced, lost my spare key fob Which i paid £250 3 mnts prior for, the guy who collected decided he couldn't be bothered to use the winch and drag the car on the back of the truck so ragged the car with seized brakes up the ramp burning the hell out of the clutch so yeah thanks click mechanic and good luck contacting anyone for help or renumeration once they have your cash its so long sucker!!!”

“A horrible company. They sent a mechanic without proper tools and equipment. He “serviced” my Mercedes Benz on my drive way, changed oil and left a huge spillage on the driveway, the oil got onto my plants. I will need to hire a company to remove that oil and it will cost a few hundred pounds.
I have never ever experienced such a horrible service .”

From the initial phone call with a mechanic who explained clearly what needed to be done and why, to receiving quotes within minutes and then the garage itself providing an excellent service. Having a mechanic come to your house to fix the car made the whole thing very easy and straightforward. Required very little involvement on my side and would highly recommend”

“Please be aware of these scammers! They were meant to carry out my car work at home, all agreed to. They decided upon arrival they were taking it to a garage nearby, with no explanation as to why. As the location of the garage they mentioned was round the corner I reluctantly let them take my car.
I then followed them in my spare car and realised they were going in a completely different direction to what they said and I lost them as I couldn’t keep up.
I called them up and found nobody answered, I went into a panic and texted them that I wanted my car back and that I’d go to the police if they didn’t return it.
They answered after reading that. When questioned, they said they were taking the car out of town. Completely changing yet again what they had initially advised and the location.
I asked him to return my car And he got verbally abusive. Upon return of my car I was sworn at once agin for wasting their time, he started taking photos of my car And being intimidating.
I then got further calls from the ‘garage’ where the so called mechanic was, he began to shout and swear yet agin as I changed my mind. Customer Service is alien to these people.
I was totally shaken up by this experience. I was then advised by a friend they have form for this. They take your car, fix the fault and suddenly more faults appear, by the time you know it, your bill is extortionate and unaffordable, and obviously no payment means no car! I can not for a moment believe the positive reviews are even real! Stay away, I know I will.”

“The job was meant to be carried out at my home, instead the mechanic insisted on driving my car back and forth to his garage a journey of, who knows each way saying the car would be fine. In the process of replacing my clutch after a premature clutch bearing failure at 32000 miles(out of warranty), which took nearly a month to complete, as parts didn't fit apparently, and he caused a gearbox leak from the nearside driveshaft. 9 months on I have just had to pay out nearly £1,000 for the gearbox to be rebuilt after input shaft bearing failure lead to complete failure, the car is presently at 34000 miles provable with MOT certificates, Also stay away from Kia,s 7 year warranty, not worth the paper it's written on for major failures....”

Absolutely appalled with my experience at ClickMechanic. Nick, the "mechanic" who came to fix a problem with the heater fan in my car only made the issue worse, and still charged me over £200. It appeared to be working fine when he left but it broke again shortly after. He came to "rectify" the issue again but was still left broken days later and had the cheek to suggest I'd "tampered" with it. I decided to take my car to an actual Vauxhall garage and they identified that the part had been fitted incorrectly by Nick which is why it kept breaking. Even after sending proof of Vauxhall's report & findings, Nick still wouldn't accept liability for this costly and time-consuming case and refused to refund any fees or give any form of compensation. ClickMechanic provided no support on my behalf and "resolved" the case with no compromise whatsoever. I will not be using them again.”
“Booked my car in on the 29th Feb for brake repair. I paid £137 up front. The mechanic drove my car to the garage. He said it could be fixed and will return my car later. A week later I still had not returned. I was texting him wanting to know where my car was. He was saying he needed to speak to clickmechanic about other work I needed on my car ?
It’s only when I threatened them with the Motor Ombudsman they returned my car today
I will never ever use this company again. If my car needs a repair I’ll go to a garage”
