“terrible service. vehicle taken by garage 30 miles away -not returned on timed -garage is full of excuses and im now 2 days of lost work since garage took my vehicle on saturday and said it would be returned monday
its now 22.45 and my ban has not been returned. the website has no phone number. no live chat as its a chat bot

“I would not recommend Click Mechanic, I requested a quote for a repair but did not actually book anything in, I then got a message to say the mechanic was on his way despite me not authorising the booking, I had to cancel a visit that I never booked and that never took place, I was charged a £40 cancellation fee to cover the costs of the mechanics fuel.”
“Recently got my Vauxhall Zafira checked by a mechanic called Chris who I booked through Click mechanic. Problem was that check engine light was on. He replaced a lambda sensor which was already replaced recently and was brand new saying that it was of bad quality. Problem persisted after he changed the new sensor and light is still on. He charged a large amount for diagnostics and changing a lambda sensor that did not need changing. Now he says problem is with ECU. Demands 400 pounds to repair this. I have found him deceptive, unreliable, rough and rude. Bad experience with Clickmechanic. They should investigate who is on their list before recruiting them. Really disappointed! Clickmechanic should take responsibility of this unacceptable service!
I have the right to express my views on this public forum and my experience with Clickmechanic previously regarding a similar problem is that you do not take responsibility or offer a solution. I feel robbed off money as the problem persists in spite of work done by the mechanic you sent in spite of spending nearly 300 pounds. He replaced a part that was already replaced recently and was brand new and then told me that problem is something else. This is totally unacceptable to spend 300 pounds and then been told that well, actually problem is elsewhere and now you have to spend 400 pounds more. I need to raise this on this forum as people read these reviews to warn them about your service before using them so that they know that you are unreliable and cannot be trusted.”
“Hired a mechanic through click mechanic to fit some parts. The mechanic advised myself when he unwrapped the light the product was broken. Checked CCTV and saw the light was broken when the mechanic hit the light to get it into place. Even with CCTV footage click mechanic didn't want to know, blamed the light instead of the mechanic. Mechanic didn't even respond to my messages. There promises on website all lies. Don't bother with them. Search click mechanic 1080p on YouTube to see the video yourself if the upload here doesn't work. The response to say it's inconclusive is Farcical. If it's inconclusive why did the mechanic lie how the part was broken?
The click mechanic website says they use trusted mechanics, but when they break something, then lie about it click mechanics stand by their mechanic and not the customer!!”
“Poor Service, would definitely recommend going elsewhere. Their allocated mechanic misdiagnosed and they just took their word for it even though they did not provide correct documentation of diagnosis.

“Do not use click mechanic . Had my car "repaired" came back with more faults than it went in with . After months of paying out extra money diagnostics etc , to get my car fixed turns out the EGR valve the garage fitted (paid£320 for) is faulty had to go to a 3rd party garage and pay for a new egr part and fitting . Garage doesn't want to know neither does click mechanic . They shouldn't be representing garages like this that cannot carry out the work correctly !”

“awful company, i was told the car was okay to buy and would need a few little jobs. i drove the car for the first time the warning lights come on and broke down. The AA recovery told me more about the car in 10 mins than the mechanic did in 2 hours.”
“Appalling. Good car returned a death trap. Car had just had a full service at Halfords.A few days later at an MOT after clic mech the car was deemed dangerous and not to be driven. 1 dangerous, 4 major plus 10 other minor faults... Too bad to list all the problem. 1000 pound down -plus loss of earnings and taxi fares!”
“I've got a loss of power on my car and 2 error codes (maf & map sensors) and so I've told CM when I booked a power inspection (£68). In my stupidity, I actually thought that the mechanic sent by them will diagnose and point to the exact failure.
Instead, there comes a mechanic with his own tester and, after aprox 1/2 hours tells me the exact same thing that I told them. His suggestion was to try and replace the maf sensor, then see if it works better. If not, replace the map sensor as well. I didn't say anything, I let him go and he went away. Needless to say that if I wanted to go his approach I could have done it myself.
Later that day I've opened a dispute to try and get my money back, money that I've realized I've paid for nothing. Of course, that didn't happen. I only got almost half of them, and the reason the mechanic selected on the CM site was that I have canceled the appointment.
My advice: just avoid and go to a real garage, any garage.”
“I used to be on the team as mechanic was treated badly after been late for booking . Poor customer service also found it hard to price jobs as click mechanic wanted profit on parts supplied. To customers”
“Booked a repair. Clickmehcanic recommended work by identifying a common problem. They did turn up but didn't knock the door, just made a tel call. I picked up the phone a couple of minutes later and they didn't answer it - mechanic would have been nearby. Mechanic said he'd knocked the door and I didn't answer - not true. He also said he'd notified me he was on his way - not true. I believe he turned up, made a quick call to my mobile and when I didn't answer immediately he drove off with knowing he was getting a £40 charged to me. (Clickmechanic charged me £40 for the 'cancelled' appointment.) I've tried rebooking and offered dates for over a month ahead (almost everyday). No mechanics accepting the booking so I've decided to cut my losses and having read the reviews am going to a local reputable garage”
“Appalling service from Click Mechanic be very carful with these people as they simply wash their hands of any responsibility when things go wrong. You have no recourse through them even though they are taking payment for arranging a mechanic. My mechanic Richard failed to remedy the issue fitted a starter motor when one was not needed and stated that the car was starting ok when it was clearly not. He then failed to answer texts and emails and failed to turn up at appointed time overall a very bad and costly experience and Click Mechanics response is as follow " The mechanics on our network are independent and are not employed by us" would I use click mechanic again ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!”

“The mechanic that accepted my job did not have the experience to correct or diagnose the fault accurately and when I asked for a refund he refused. So I then escalated to ClickMechanic administration and they agreed with me, asking the mechanic to refund my payment in full. The mechanic refused to do this and it turns out that ClickMechanic can't force them to and are unable to refund themselves. So case was closed with no refund. I would suggest you enquire of your mechanic, that he knows how to fix this and that you get it all in writing - without this, you are unlikely to get any refund”
“Renewed back discs and pads, I later found out they had fitted the sensors incorrectly. Also my service book was stolen, I had full service history from new.”
“The absolute worst service I have ever received, with mechanics that would clearly struggle to spell their own names. I booked my car in with click mechanic, they collected my car from me with a full tank of petrol at about 10:30am. I was then rung at 3:30 and was told my car was on its way back to me. It arrived back at 5:40 on empty. The car had not been fixed, they had merely done a job round damaged parts they didn't even call to ask my opinion. In summary I paid £230, for then to have not fixed the problem and most probably drive it about all day.”
