The pallet your stove was shipped on did not fit the standard sized pallet jack your shipping company had on the truck. The packaging the stove was packed in was top notch. Initial start up & directions were easy to follow. Only complaint is auger bearing failure after 2 skids of pellets. Service was quick to respond via phone call message. Waiting to see quality of replacement parts. Wondering if while in temp mode can a lower value be exchanged for the 61 degrees to say 40 degrees ( to keep pipes from freezing). That would be all the thoughts I wish to share at this time, thanks.

Customer service top notch. Received much needed support. The spray to help pellet’s fall down to auger does not help

Great machine only wish parts didn't need replacement so much, and if they do they should be a lot cheaper than they are.

After too many years of using a wood burning stove we switched to pellet due to our senior age. Acquiring, cutting & stacking & cleaning after we are sorry we did not do sooner. Best part has been the technical support we have received from the team at comfortbilt. Very satisfied 👍

My HP22N is a nice stove. It keeps my home cozy. However, I was disappointed that the ignitor burned out after about 2 months of use on ECO mode. Apparently, ECO mode burns out the ignitor quickly. Found this out when I contacted customer service about reimbursement for the cost of the part. They promptly reimbursed me to my CC. Very happy about that.

We love our stove but this was the second ignitor we had to replace for our stove in just two seasons. Your support staff was excellent and replied quickly to my question and said that there was a new style ignitor to come out soon that would last significantly longer. I hope that you would extend a discount to existing customers for a spare replacement for when our older one dies again.

I purchased an HP61 in late winter of 2022, it has been an awesome source of heat when compared to a heat pump. I love this stove and heat output for a 2700 sq. ft. home but I am beginning to question the life expectancy of some parts. I have used this stove for a total of six months and I have already replaced an igniter and conducted maintenance on the auger all of which was directed by Comforftbilt. I am very pleased with the customer service and technical support provided so far; fast, responsive, and helpful.

Runs great. The auger has a little issue once every so often. It makes a moaning noise. A little white lithium grease solves that.

After about a year (second season using the stove) I had an issue with the stove stopping running during the heating cycle. The code "Alarm - Contact Lost". I Downloaded the complete service manual from the internet. It is more complete than the owner's manual that came with the stove. The on-line manual explained what the code meant and how to troubleshoot it. It said to check the 4-pin cable connection at bottom of circuit board. I did so, and it fixed the problem. Apparently the connection had come loose. The only comment I would make is that the explanation of how to address the code in the original owners manual would have been helpful. I then ordered the Parts Care Package to have extra parts on standby in case one goes out during the winter. The ordering process is very easy and I received the parts in just a few days.

Sent away for the oil to stop the moaning auger. Haven't used it as yet as the temp is below 0 and don't want to shut down the heat. It does seem you have a wonderful pellet stove design BUT sourced the most inexpensive components for it. The support has been wonderful. Good thing I can do the repairs myself. Wayne Holden

I have owned numerous pellet stoves and comfortbilt is by far the best stove we have ever had. We live in Montana so it gets quite a work out and has work perfectly.

I replaced my wood stove last year with a Comfortbilt HP22 and have been using since then. While I love the stove I have had a couple problems with the stove. I absolutely love the tech support you get from comforbilt!! When you call they work with you to overcome any issue. I had an issue with a gasket; they sent me a new one and discussed how to replace it. I had an issue with the mother board; sent me a new one and walked me thru how to change it.I had a bearing issue and they sent me new ones; all of these at no cost to me; within warranty. The stove is very easy to work on and inexpensive to repair if needed. The tech support is amazing and the tech videos on line are very helpful. I have a draft issue that we cannot figure out and remains; but I am not sure it negatively impacts the performance of the stove; otherwise I would rate this stove a 5 star. I do like the stove and the tech support which I am not sure you would get elsewhere?

After several weeks of comparing and reviewing stoves, I settled on the comfortbilt hp22, based off the reviews of their customer services and reviews. I did receive the stove damaged, I called customer service immediately and within minutes I had an email verification on replacement parts. I was extremely pleased with the customer service and their timely effort to resolve the issue. This unit was professionally installed and ran like a champ from the first burn off. I checked the control board daily curious of the pellet usage, trying to determine how much it was truly saving me to run this over my furnace. Every day I’d do the conversion and it always averaged 38lbs a day on level one. Level one keeps my house comfortably warm around 70-73 no issues when ambient is around 40. I noticed that I was 18 bags shy of burning through 1.5 tons of pellets. I checked my usage once more to find it was wrong. My stove was burning about 67lbs a day but the control board still showed 38lbs a day. It was off by 900lbs total. At the the time I thought no big deal, just a coincidence that the stove was showing me what seems to be industry standard vs what it really is burning. I called customer service, I was told it should be 40lbs a day and my feed rates needed to be adjusted. A second customer service representative told me 2-3lbs an hour on level one and the feed rates needed adjusted. Received two separate emails with different feed rates attached to each, I am still unsure which rep was correct with their information. After adjustments my stove is at about 55lbs a day. Overall the stove heats my house even on coldest of nights as long as I keep refilling pellets every few hours. - Stove is cleaned regularly - Use green supreme pellets (one that comfortbilt recommends) - OAK installed - Adjusted feed rates All said and done it’s not a bad stove and I’m sure some people can get that bag a day claim. Customer service is top tier but the stove itself I don’t feel the best about. If I could go back and reorder I’d probably go with something different.

Well. I did my research and talked to staff and I was kinda frustrated at my experience. The stoves themselves have so far worked great. However the control panel is clumsy and not user friendly. I had to upgrade the hopper because it would burn out overnight. I struggled to find the right appliance adapter and it smelled like burning tires for like a week because of some residue. Sometimes I can still smell it. Over all, I found the staff friendly and nice. Their product is quality. It was just annoying how many things came up while installing that could have been told to me but were not and that’s a total bummer. There should have been better onboarding to the product. It’s also crazy I can’t get a wifi connection to it and when I wanted to add a thermostat I had to buy their temperature sensor cut the wires and splice it in. Not a huge deal but I’m on the phone with these folks and emailing them and have ordered so much more stuff from them that I think should have been included or addressed before my purchase.

We love the stove and it works great. The blower fan lasted three years. That was because the bearings were inferior for the fan application and they there are no options to replace them. I had to purchase a new complete unit. The fan and motor were still ok. Also, removing the side panels is difficult with the wing bolts. They are difficult to reinstall. There should be an easier way to remove the panels from the exterior instead of from inside the pellet feeder box. Anyway, the new fan unit was easy to install and it is much quieter. We hope it lasts longer.

Love the product!! Customer service is out standing in all areas !!!! Just question some of the components/part. As far as the burn pot I received, we’ll it is working, but it dos not sit flat like the 1st one. It wobbles from corner to corner. Can tell you the ash build up.. one corner has no ash build up around the outside of one corner. So, I know it is not very efficient! Been thinking of calling/email to explain the situation, but have not had the time to do so. Thank you Mike

Wish I didn't have to buy spare parts after only 2 years, but here we are. It's of low, cheap quality, and the packaging was just a cardboard box. Low effort all around

I bought and hp22n and I’m pretty happy with it. I own a Harmon p68 stove also and there are pros and cons to either stove. Comfort built pros Customizable Cost effective Puts out great heat Cons Burn pot dirties up in a few days Seems to create a lot of ash vs the Harmon Seems to high temp fault on level 5 Level five just eats pellets. For the difference in heat it’s not worth running it on 5 Harmon burn pot is superior design Needs to be cleaned often Overall it’s a great stove and unbeatable for the money. It requires more cleaning but it’s half the price of a comparable Harmon. When I was deciding on a second stove I chose theirs one because of the value and couldn’t justify spending double.
