One call should be renamed web chat insurance. I tried to make a simple change and no telephone numbers to ring and the portal did not work. So I spent 35 minutes at work in web chat with a helpful person. Hard work and effort to make a simple policy change!

I tried to the vehicle on my policy through my portal but it didn't recognise my new registration so i went through the option to speak with an adviser on line, waited 35 minutes, only to be told i need to do it on the portal! I have now run out of time, so I'll try again tomorrow. Hopefully with more success.

Set up policy agreed to do breakdown and courtesy car - after I agree to the set amount I then get asked my options of breakdown and courtesy car options which adds to the amount but you are then not asked to review that you are happy with it. I agreed but my current provider offered a better deal so within 1/2 days of setting up I’m still charged £50 to cancel because they take a set up fee, it’s in a document that I do not recall being given prior to set up of the policy. Not impressed with this company

I had to make a claim and the company dealing with it all are a shambles, I told them the problem but they wanted to scrap the car .They had it in a body shop when it was tyres it needed

I have had no communication since paying for car insurance. The system is not recognising my details. I have not received a copy of my insurance and I am unable to get onto the system. I'm unsure if I am insured!!! I have emailed about times and been on Web site.. just can't get in touch !!!! Please help Linda Daykin

Waited for ages, then no reply for over 10 minutes, so assumed I was cut off, went back again waited even longer, to be told the last live chat had actioned my request, however no one told me the first time around!!

I was paying £6.13 a month for contents insurance.Asked for anew addition to the policy.Too high so I cancelled the policy.They confirmed this.Then on my bank account they took £51.72 and£22.87. For no reasonNow they say I owe them £22.87.And debt recovery.?No doubt they try it on with other customers who don’t check.Thanks

I requested a paper copy of my certificate when renewing my policy, but nothing sent. On Chat just kept telling me to log in to my portal, but didn’t tell me if could send my requested copy on not.

Why call yourself One Call insurance when you only do an online chat service. I want the option to talk to a human and will be changing insurer

Awful in third que for chat trying to get my documents , told they’d sent a link to my email for the link and it hasn’t arrived . So back in a que again

Was impressed b One Call and the ease with which they could set up car insurance for you. However, when I came to add a further driver for a week (daughter visiting) their response was the underwriter would not do this and the only way to add the driver would be to cancel the policy (for which there would be an admin charge) and take out a new one with the driver added. Alternatively I could add the driver for the duration of the rest of the policy for and extra £220! At the beginning of the call I asked whether they would insure a person for a week and the answer was yes. Wasted 40 minutes of my time. Will look to go elsewhere on renewal. Not good customer service.

The call took a very long time and seemed a while in between conversations. I prefer to speak to someone in person its quicker and more personal. I did receive the information I needed but had used the service prior to this and was kicked out of conversations and had to go back in and wait in a queue again.

Feel that One Call has lost it's personal touch by being totally online, you still need to speak people in person as not all conversation can be interpreted the right way through messages. Live chat does work, but feel you should still have the option of of being able to call and speak to a human being.
